5 Stars - Flavorful Hidden Gem in Rialto Tucked away in a nondescript strip mall at Sycamore and Baseline, El Pollo Dorado is a true hidden gem in Rialto. If you didn't know it was there, you'd probably miss it--but that would be a mistake. This family-owned spot has been serving the community since at least the 1990s, and their charbroiled chicken puts chains like El Pollo Loco and Juan Pollo to shame. The chicken is bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and always juicy. Their beans and yellow rice (with little bits of chicken) are super tasty, and the salsas--especially the hot one--are on point. The steamed tortillas are always fresh, making it easy to assemble your own tacos at home. They offer a variety of family packs, from half a chicken to multiple birds, all at reasonable prices. The crispy tacos and burritos are also worth a try, but I usually stick to the chicken packs. It's heartwarming to see the same familiar faces working there over the years. Supporting this small, family-owned business feels good, especially when the food is this delicious. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out El Pollo Dorado. place has horrible customer service. on top of that place looks very dirty. the lady cashier has a long face like if she hated being at work. charges me extra for the new spicy salsa after i told her to not include the mild salsa that comes with the chicken. theyre very slow as well. chicken is same as juan pollo. will definetly not ever come back here again. read more

I ended up waiting an additional 15 mins while they prepared the order, and 3. Their hours are a little selective. Make sure you check the hours on the day you go.
