I'm so under the weather so my mom bought dinner. We decided on Juan Pollo. We wanted to phone in the order to pick up but when we called she said just come in so it would be fresh. We ordered the two whole chicken family meal with beans, double potato salad, corn & flour tortillas, and mild and hot salsa. The wait time wasn't long and the food was hot and fresh. The chicken is always tender and the skin if full of flavor. Hands down, they have the best potato salad. It tastes homemade and is not super mayo-e. The beans are creamy and I didn't think they were lacking salt but bae did. I prefer the hot salsa over mild but some may not like it because it has big chunks of jalapeño and carrots. The ambiance here is casual. There is a dime in option but most people get their food to go. If in the area try them out. read more

What a great spot. We know how good Juan Pollo chicken is. What's just as good is the workers there. Polite, great customer service and wholesome low key place to take everyone and savor the food. Server: Carlos read more

Food was delicious. My whole family loves the food. My order always comes out quick and the staff is friendly. Place is clean and the decorations are a nice touch. Definitely going to continue coming here. The potato salad is the best I ever had. read more

Would give a 0 if could. Walked in with a smile and said hello twice just to be ignored by the rude cashier who I know heard me and saw me, he looked me right in the eye and ignored two paying customers. Should've known it was gonna be a bad experience with how dead the dine in was. Beautiful dine area but couldn't enjoy because of how rude the cashier was. Honestly would never come again, def need to utilize customer service & food was mid, small portions. read more

Used to not mind the price changes cuz the food was a good quantity and amount of food but now you get these baby chickens instead of the regular size as before smh if your guys raise the price keep portions the same. Going to take the extra drive now and go to golden chicken in Rialto this isn't it Juan pollo do better !!!! read more

The food is priced fairly, tasty and is filling. The store front is easy to access and the staff are very helpful and friendly and orders can be made in advance. The chicken itself is savory and works well with the sides to include rice, beans and potato salad. While they're a great alternative to pollo loco and do well in the core areas of sides and chicken, they lack in the specialty items, particularly the burrito. The chicken burrito I ordered had what seemed to be finely chopped chicken and with little to no fat or moisture in the chicken, the burrito was a dry, crumbly mess. The other ingredients worked well but were overwhelmed by the amount of dry chicken. The salsa in the burrito also lacked flavor and failed to compliment the dish as a whole. If ordering the burrito, it would be recommended to specifically detail your preference of toppings when ordering. Overall, Juan Pollo is a great choice for a quick, honest chicken dinner. read more

Juan Pollo is an Inland Empire institution. The flavor of the chicken skin is legendary. Also the potato salad is really good. read more

Do not go to this Juan Pollo. Someone mentioned to go to the one in Fontana, they are correct! Got big family meals there yesterday and the chicken was dry and the rice and potato salad were very bland. It tasted like it was old. Had to make my own rice! 2nd time going there. First time wasn't very good and this time it was worse! read more

Do not come to this Juan Pollo. I have never had a bad experience with them before but it was disgusting. The rice was somehow mushy but undercooked with hard pieces of rice, all at the same time. The potato salad tasted sour. I usually go to the one on citrus in Fontana but this location was on my way home. I wish I would've read reviews before because they all seem to say the same thing. read more

Normally we buy trays of potato salad and we have never been disappointed but last Saturday we ordered a tray and it was, by far, the worse potato salad !! We would have been better off getting store bought! Not sure why they were lacking on Saturday but we will not buy trays from this location any longer. Nothing but potatoes, very little mayo and nothing else. Normally we can see the cilantro and carrots, but this was lacking all but potatoes. Pretty disappointed. read more

Had to make an unexpected stop here on Thanksgiving and and I must say, that I was quite impressed with the service. The line was starting to hanging outside the door, right before I left. Service was fast and all the employees worked together, to get the customers out, with I ridiculously long wait time. Mostly everyone's food, was already prepared and ready to pick up, within seconds of placing the order. They were moving very quickly and the food was fresh. read more

This place has went down so much! Went there the other day and they would not make chicken burritos that I ordered because they had no more shredded chicken, so I told the cashier so they can take one of those chickens and shred it and she just looked at me like I was crazy. And they were still open for another hour read more

Ordered the Juan pollo big bowl and the chicken burrito. Both have the shredded chicken. Very dissappointed. There are several pieces of small bones, my husband almost choked. I'm so glad I hadn't served my 3 and 1 year old grandchildren yet. I can't believe that they woukd not warn customers of the danger . I will never go here again. So upset this is a serious matter. read more

Don't come here...they didn't have chicken for the bowl So they wanted to sell me a chick less bowl. Wtf! Then asked them to accommodate a side of chicken they said they would have to charge me. I use to love this place. That is ridiculous I hope the owner reads this. Your employees lack customer service never again lost a loyal customer and I always receded people to this place. I am disgusted. I was contacted by Juan Pollo and was very respectfully apologized about the encounter. Thank you. I really appreciate you reaching out to me and making things right. I don't understand why people buy food from Juan Pollo. The rice and beans are good but it's a chicken place. Let me tell you, that chicken has a good taste but it is always so dry. I've been to several party's where they served Juan Pollo and you better make sure you have a tall drink standing by or you're going to choke to death. I'm not kidding, not even a little bit. No thanks. read more

I been going to juan pollo since i was a child. First one in Ontario. By far this one put the name to shame. The chicken was ok. However the potato salad had no taste at all. No mayo & no salt. The beans tasted old. If your gonna be franchise do not deviate from the main recipe. read more

It's Juan Pollo!! They have the best rotisserie chicken in the U.S. hands down!!!! I am addicted to their tacos at the moment. No matter what location you go to the food is always consistently good an taste great. I'm only giving this location four stars because the woman that works the cash register here is rude. I have called in an order and it was not ready when I came to pick it up. (They were not busy) I have had to repeat myself to her several times when coming here and she never smiles and is never in a friendly mood. read more

3.5 stars I used to go to the original Juan Pollo years ago in San Bernardino. Then this location opened up, so I started coming here since it's closer to me. I've never had an issue with this place until last time I came. They messed with the potato salad and that's a no-no. Other locations are not consistent with the potato salad and this location always has been until last time. Employees can be a lot more friendly. Everything here is bomb. The chicken, potato salad (when done right), rice, beans, salsa and tortillas. I have ordered food from here many times for catering, great prices and lots of grub. Decided to come here for din din today and it was bomb. Everything was on point. I always get the Family meal that comes with three whole chickens and the XL sides. Enough to feed the Family and have plenty of left overs for the next day. read more

Juan Pollo - The works. So yummy! - Mexican Near Me - Bloomington, California

The service was lousy, uncaring and just WRONG. I will NEVER spend my money with this type of business ever!! They gave me the runaround claiming they were out of salsa and potatoe salad by the time my order was ready, they claimed to have potatoe salad and no more rice. By the way the potatoe salad was old, dry and nasty. I ordered 2 dinners of a breast & wing , I received a thigh and drumstick. I just got ff work and as bad as I wanted to go back and get my refund I knew I would have not been nice. Oh well, I don't have to ever wonder what my next order will be. I do not recommend this place to no one. #Horrible #Nasty #Uncouth #BuhBye read more

10/10 best food. Makes pollo loco taste like 7/11. Cheap and fast always the same good quality

Juan Pollo is a great place for carry out rotisserie chicken. We get some each time I visit the Inland Empire for family gatherings. The chicken is flavorful with a nice finish on the outside & moist on the inside. The family size meal includes two chickens, and large sides of beans, potato salad, and rice, as well as tortillas and pico de gallo sauces. The beans are tasty, and not too thick. The white/yellow rice is fantastically flavored with chicken, and the potato salad is wonderful. The pico de gallo sauce was super, with peppers and carrots. I prefer the spicy. I had the horchata, an amazing beverage of rice, almond, and cinnamon. The service was prompt. No, not just prompt, it was lightning fast! The staff was smiling, friendly and polite. Gracias for a great family dinner! read more

My husband just tries to call in an order for a jumbo pack. That's 3 whole chickens. This place told him over the phone that this is not a big enough order for them to do. Well, ok. He just called the Juan Pollo on Magnolia in Riverside and the lady was quite pleasant and took our order with no problem. I know I will never do business at this Juan Pollo in Bloomington ever again. And if my job wants to order from here ever again I will put my input in as bot to order from this Juan Pollo eventhough that would be over $100 order. I see other reviewers have had similar problems with this Juan Pollo and the manager still hasn't resolved this. You would figure all businesses during this time would appreciate all orders, but I see not this one. Don't worry Juan Pollo in Bloomington. I will not trouble you anymore with my frivolous orders. read more

If you really want Juan Pollo just go to the one in Fontana this one gives very small servings the quality of the food is just much better at the other one read more

Anyone giving more than a single star for this location is not a truthful person. I typically won't trash a location but this Juan Pollo is not like the others. My chicken bowl was HEINOUSLY bad. The chicken, if it can be called that, was dried carcass pieces (with the vertebrae and broken rib bones embedded); NOT the shredded chicken I'm accustomed to receiving at other locations. It was like chicken chicharrones thrown atop a mound of week-old rice with a small dollop of three-day old beans. I won't even discuss the tortillas that couldn't be peeled apart and cracked like uncooked dough when I tried to use them. When I brought it back to the counter, they initially looked at me and shrugged as if nothing was wrong. Finally, a partial refund was offered after I declined a re-do. Take a few minutes and find a different Juan Pollo to enjoy. The Fontana location has amazing service, with smiles, and will not keep you waiting for your freshly cooked and prepared food. read more

I have to say this location has thee best potato salad I've ever had from Juan polo really good job. Also this location was very Clean with great customer service thank you read more

To start off I would give this place a -0. I have been coming here for year because the place is very clean and tidy. So this week I come in for lunch and order a quarter chicken with 2 sides. I left and took my lunch home only to open a box with bones in it that apparently someone else had been eating. This is so freaking groce. I have never seen, nor experienced anything like this. Imagine opening a box of food to see bones where it has been eaten already. I went back up there and I didn't cause a scene, (maybe I should have) and a really nice worker gave me another plate of food (which I ended up not eating). I sent a customer complaint to the Corporate Office to advise what is going on at there business. We are in a n era of covid and other diseases going around number 1, number 2 why are employees eating in the open where food is being prepared? I talk to a person in charge for the Bloomington location and she wants to give me a coupon for a replacement meal, i don't think so but you have definitely lost a great customer. If you don't care that your employees do disgusting things to customers food then I will NEVER go to ANY Juan Pollo again. Last thing, make sure you check your containers before you leave! read more

This is my favorite chicken chain! I've been coming here for years and I still get the urge to do the chicken dance after every experience! From combo meals, family packs, and catering meals, they do it all. I shouldn't namedrop but this is way better than that other similar chicken chain *cough* Pollo Loco *cough*. Big difference between the chicken here and at Pollo Loco is the way they're cooked. At Pollo Loco it's grilled which makes the meat charred and dry. Here it's roasted in a rotiserrie which allows the chicken to have a nice flavor on the outside while also being juicy inside. They do have a less variety of sides: rice, beans, potato salad, and corn. Though limited, this means they do those sides extremely well. I could eat a whole tub of rice or potato salad if I wanted to! There is only two salsas , spicy and non-spicy pico de gallo. They're good but a bit too watery for me. Looking for healthy Mexican-style chicken that isn't fake and gross-looking? Give this chain a chance! You have to be a crazy chicken not to! read more
