What a great experience I had with the staff. I called a week ahead to make reservations for at least 12 people originally and told them I wanted to be by the mariachi band. A couple days later I called because I had add 6 people in total we were 18 peoplw and they didn't give me a hard time about it. We went to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. The parking lot is big, you can park by the other retail stores that are next door. Their food is incredible. I had the Malcajete and had the margarita flight. I was enjoying the mariachi so much that i forgot to take a picture of my food. The Mariachi made the ambiance more alive, more exciting. The Mariachi played great hits. They even sang las Mañanita birthday song to my mom. The servers were friendly and accommodating. Kid friendly.

I came here as I went to the other location before. Service was slow. There was no host to seat us. It was not that busy food came fast once I was able to order. The food had great taste. I will have to think about coming back to this location

Stopped by after a galaxy game with my family for quick bites and we were immediately met with help to get seated within a minute. We chose the area that was a bit more quiet on the left so we could talk. Food came out quickly and everything was just fine! Nothing to rave about, but nothing to nitpick either. I had a great time and they even brought our cheesecake for my fiancée for her birthday! Thank you for a great experience!

I don't go to this place often enough, but each time I go I thoroughly enjoy it! The restaurant is in a good size strip mall with plenty of free parking Met with friends for dinner and happy hour was still going strong. The bar area was very lively and a little too loud for us to be able to hear one another so we sat in the main dining area. We ordered drinks and I had two appetizers for my meal. One friend ordered a burrito and the other fajitas. This place is fair prices and yummy food. Service was quick until the end. Took a little extra time to get the bill, but nothing unreasonable.

Food was OK. Not bad but not great. Service was great. Guacamole on my plate was bad, tasted old and spoiled. Chips were cold. Ambience was OK.l, place is decorated and feels spacious. Drinks were weak as heck. Barely any booze in it and waaay too sweet. Mojarra drita was awesome but the salsa was lacking.

Surprised my boyfriend with the Porsche Experience today and saw that El Pescador was less than 10 minutes away and I'm so glad we came here! The restaurant was not what I was expecting - it is so big, nice, and clean in here! It's soccer themed (not sure if it's bc of the World Cup or that the Dignity Health Sports Field is up the street) but it's so cool (the walls look like soccer balls and they have a soccer statue of soccer players). There's also tv's all over the restaurant (so much nicer than Buffalo Wild Wings tbh). The menu is huge and there's so many options. I went with the fish ceviche and it did not disappoint. My bf got chicken fajitas and was happy with it! Our server, Eloy, was very attentive and kind. He made us laugh and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be back the next time we are in area! Thank you for such a great experience, El Pescador (and especially Eloy)!!!

After doing business in the area and realizing we hadn't eaten all day, we were starving around 3 p.m. We checked some reviews and saw that El Pescador was only about six minutes away, so we decided to stop in. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. Almost immediately after sitting down, chips and salsa were brought to the table. The waiter took our order shortly after, and the food came out in a timely fashion. Everything we ordered was delicious, both the food and the drinks. The restaurant itself is aesthetically nice and well decorated. The atmosphere is upbeat, and there are TVs playing sports, which makes it a fun place to hang out. Overall, the service was friendly and attentive. It definitely seems like a great spot for happy hour or just grabbing a good meal if you're in the area.

Our school staff met here for a holiday get together. It was about 18 of us and we were well taken care of by the El Pescador servers. We all ordered drink. They had a happy hour price margaritas. They also had fountain drinks and of course traditional drinks such as aguas frescas. I ordered two tacos de asada. I also ordered ceviche de pescado. My food was great! My colleagues ordered salad, burritos, shrimp. It is a seafood restaurant so they have a variety of seafood dishes too. The ambiance was laidback and there is a bar on the other side of the restaurant. There were huge TVs on the wall with a beautiful fireplace display on the screen. There is plenty of seating inside. There is ample parking as well. Great restaurant! It is an excellent choice to host a staff holiday party.

It's been a while since I've been here but it's pretty much the same thing like always as far the food goes as far the restaurant goes and bar side it was pretty dead for a Saturday compared to other times

I came here after work with a few coworkers and each one of us ordered completely different kinds of food. Overall, food was great. Customer service was really nice. She was extremely friendly and caring. The agua fresca pepino was so delicious. I love that it wasn't too sweet or to water down. I shared a Molcajete and there was still plenty of food left so I took it to go. The taste was really good. The ambience was beautiful and has a mini stage inside for bands ,plenty of seating ,clean bathroom and good music.

I've been living in the South Bay all my life and I've never been here. Decided on a spur of the moment lunch. Boy am I glad I did. The service was great, the food was amazing, the drinks were strong. Wifey and I will definitely be back. We usually judge a place by its bar because we love to sit at or in the bar area at most restaurants. This spot checks all our boxes. Friday mornings in the bar area are lively..... Andy was our waiter and he was the absolute best.

Service was great, but I ordered a carne asada plate. Unfortunately it came with a parasite

Came here during a weekday for happy hour and to celebrate a birthday. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and our server came to our table within minutes. The music was loud so had to kind of shout at times We did not like the salsa. The best way to describe it is that it was not a chunky salsa and tasted more like tomato soup. We both got margaritas and were pleasantly surprised on the size of the margarita for the price. I highly recommend getting one during happy hour, you will be happy :) The food options for happy hour were ok. We got ceviche to share and it didn't taste as fresh, but was ok. We were glad they gave plenty of lemons and a good portion go avocado. I also got the taquitos and was not impressed with the amount of meat in them, but they did give a nice portion of toppings. We came for a birthday and usually you're not charged for the dessert, but we were...so that was a let down. They only offer a cheesecake too. They came and sang at the table at least. The dessert was $8.

The service is definitely mediocre here and the food is ok. I only like the shrimp tostadas possibly the only reason I'd go back.

I personally thought that the prices for Mexican food was a bit high, but found the quality of the food to be good. I ordered the Wet Burrito with salsa verde which came out to $9. The burrito was decent size and they packed it with good tasting rice, beans, and al pastor. The plate came with a side of salad and some chips and salsa. The chips were cold, but the salsa was good. Service overall was friendly and quick. I'd say if you're in the area and are looking for a quick bite, Chile Relleno would be a good option. Just don't expect it to be really cheap Mexican food.

The vibe was really off. The place is nice and clean and appealing but there was no music playing. They had on naked and afraid and some news on their TVs. We were the only people there so the place was so quiet and boring. The lady was very polite, but it just wasn't a "fun environment". The food came out at all different times which was weird because we were the only ones there. I'm always trying to find somewhere close to go hang out and invite friends to have drinks and eat but it was just so off I wouldn't want to go back with friends. Food- I had the fish taco which was good, the calamari was very chewy and not that good, and the enchiladas were decent Service - Service was good (flys were coming in tho so I think they should keep the door closed) Ambiance- lacking. They need some fun music and give me a reason to order some beer and hangout more. I don't really see this as anything other than a takeout place unless they extend their hours and improve the vibe.

We asked if they had any plant-based or vegan options. They only sold burgers however the lady that helped us was very sweet, polite, and kind. She told what they had and what we could order inside instead. We walked in and the gentleman named Oscar G. cashed us out. He was also very friendly! Very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and non-dairy items. Provided us with what we needed right away, the container for the salsa and brought out fresh ones for me. Very nice guy. The food came out right away. The portions were big in my opinion. The prices were decent, the portion was great, and best of all the service was good. Their self-serve condiments was a PLUS! I've been to a lot of taco spots and these were by far the freshest and crispiest cucumbers, fresh cold salsa, onions and cilantro was also fresh. The food was good and filled us up. It was simple but fulfilling. Will definitely be back and highly recommend it. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats as well.

I ordered the asada, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cabeza, and lengua. The asada was tender with a nice grilled flavor, but my favorites were definitely the tripas and cabeza. Both were a little greasy, but in a good way--they had a lot of flavor and were probably the standouts of the meal for me. One thing I liked was the condiment bar. You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday. Good variety of meats, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings to customize your tacos. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and craving some tacos.

After waiting about 10 minutes, I went to the counter, and it took even longer before an employee asked for my name. When they finally handed me my food, it was still in a bag even though my order was for dine-in, and I had to remind them to give me my drinks. They also forgot to include salsa for the chips. What really frustrated me was being told that next time I should just go to the counter after ordering at the kiosk. As a first-time customer, how was I supposed to know that? If the kiosk orders aren't being monitored, that's something the restaurant should address--not something customers should have to figure out on their own.
