It's not the best mexican food I've ever had but it'll do in a pinch. My husband loves the guacamole and queso. I typically like salsa with chunks of tomato but everything else super well blended. It's good salsa, not very hot. I loved my taco salad. It was super tasty and my husband enjoyed the burrito. We'd definitely go back.

    Steak fajitas and Crazy Rice!

I love this restaurant! They have them in Many,Zwolle, Louisiana . I always eat the Crazy Rice!! And my mother always eat the fajitas. If u like Mexican Food u should try the Restaurant out!!

Burrito with cheese sauce? No-- melted packaged sliced squares of cheese.

The Monster Mango Margarita was great! The steak taco salad was good but the meat was a little chewy... tasty but chewy. The server was very good/attentive. They have a HUGE menu and we will be back. Nice to have a restaurant like this so close to us in Keithville. Yay! 2nd visit... Got the skirt steak and it, too, was pretty chewy but it tasted alright. I got the beerita (well, 2 actually!) and they snuck up on me!!! LOL They didn't seem super strong at the time but they were!! Next time, 1 will suffice! ;0) 3rd visit... Got a steak burrito that was supposed to have "cheese sauce" over the top of it but it was soooooo NOT sauce... It was a square piece of white cheese x 3 laid across the burrito... You know the individually wrapped pieces of cheese that are square that comes in a big package? Yeah... That kind of cheese... not SAUCE. The meat was still chewy. My husband was disappointed in his as well-- said the meat was chewy and seemed like it had been boiled as it had no flavor. My final thoughts are: Don't get anything with the fajita steak... or any "steak." The skirt steak was definitely chewy. The drinks are good tho! LOL I have to bring my rating down on the food tho. :( I'm more inclined to go there now just for chips, salsa and drinks rather than food. :(

You won't be disappointed. Good menu selection and the Margarita's were worth a try!

Good food. Fast service. Clean restaurant. Salsa is just ok, varies depending on who makes it but street tacos are always delicious

The fresh theme continues with the chips and salsa. All of it's made in house, and these were some of the best chips and salsa I've had in a while. The chips are a light and thin and a little bit tricky to dip without breaking. Two sauces, green and red, are provided and each tastes--not to belabor the term-- fresh. The chile relleno is served on its own in a soup bowl with a light sauce and choice of protein on the outside. The poblano pepper itself is stuffed with cheese, as is proper for chile relleno. Again the sauce, the chili itself, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and light. Unlike most Mexican places, rice and beans is brought on a separate plate and not merged with whatever primary entree you've selected. Here again, fresh: there is rice that's almost like a basmati, and refried black beans that are refreshing change from the typical pinto bean base. Service is prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. I had the pleasure of having Angelo for my waiter. The restaurant staff is predominantly Hispanic, the kind of folks ICE likes to round up. (I really hope this reference become dated real fast). The point is these folks are familiar with Mexican food beyond just the concept of this restaurant. The clientele appears to be primarily local and a steady stream of them were coming through at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Access is convenient from i-49 and not too far from I-20.

However, the overall experience was very disappointing, which is unusual for me because I have eaten here many times in the past and have never had a bad experience until now. We were seated, and our waitress initially greeted us and brought drinks for me, my daughter, and my friend. After that, service became difficult. It took a long time to find our waitress when we needed refills. Eventually, I had to get up myself, and another server from a different section was kind enough to bring our drinks. When the crawfish arrived, they were extremely small for the amount ordered (three and a half pounds). They were not hot--only warm--and very wet, almost as if they hadn't been cooked long enough. It honestly felt like we received the bottom of the barrel. By the time we received the check, I was extremely disappointed, especially considering the amount of money paid. I'm not sure what was going on that night, but this experience did not meet the standard I've come to expect from Crawdaddy's. I truly hope this was just an off night, because this visit was not the Crawdaddy's experience I've had or expected in the past.

But every time I've eaten here, I was unimpressed with both the service and the food. In my opinion, the quality of the food is just "meh". Its about on par with Applebee's or Chili's or something similar. Its "okay" food, but definitely nothing to write home about. For the prices they charge, the food should be MUCH better in my opinion. The service is just "meh" as well. The servers are polite, but slow and somewhat inattentive. Each time we needed a refill or something, we had to wave our arms to get his attention because he was playing or texting on his phone in the corner. The female waitress we had the second time was a little better, but I she seemed neq and inexperienced. She was pretty slow, and "forgot" one of our drinks when she brought the drinks to the table. In my opinion, the service AND food should be absolutely impeccable for the prices this place charges. If they weren't so close to our house, I doubt that we would EVER go back.
