Pretty darn good food. I have to be gluten-free, they didn't have many options but worked hard to customize something for me. Excellent service! read more

Always good when we go, and we've been A LOT. If you want to avoid the crowd, avoid Thursday nights. They usually have a band and a packed house! Music is good and so are the margaritas, which makes for a fun evening! Enjoy! read more

The food was good but the live band was so loud I couldn't have a conversation with the person right next to me. Please TURN IT DOWN.

Best fajitas ever!!!!!! Service is great and the food is awesome. If you are looking for some delicious fajitas, come here. They are so nice and helpful and they get you in and out so quickly. I love coming here! The shredded chicken quesadilla is also very yummy. And who doesn't love free chips and salsa? Prices are very low and affordable also. read more

Disgusted with the Luling location. They refused to honor a fundraiser card purchased from a competing high school. It would be advised that El Paso specifically notes which ones are eligible for each high school. Plus meat and service is better at the Raceland location. When the chips and salsa lady merely throws the bowls at you, it's best to dine elsewhere! read more

El Paso Mexican Grill - Mexican Near Me - Luling, Louisiana

My family picked up a to-go order and we're literally so unhappy with the food portions and quality. Our tortilla soup with shredded chicken was red broth and avocados with NO chicken or anything else in it. Our fajitas trio had a small amount of meat, 2 pieces of shrimp to be exact, a lot of veggies, with 3 soggy tortillas. The rice and beans with each meal was so very small. Chips were stale. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will NOT be back. Awful quality, don't waste your time or money. read more

An amazing tex-mex restaurant. If your coming home from work or just grabbing a quick bite somewhere, El Paso is fast, simple, and absolutely delicious. read more

Another shining example in the long list of terrible St Charles parish restaurants. This place is greasy and dirty. So maybe it is authentic Mexico? They should change the name to El Barfo. read more

Love the specials nights like Th 2 for 1 Chimmychongas any every night happy hour 2 go 1 Margeritas Very quick service very good food read more

Love this place. Hector the owner is so friendly and always a gracious man. Victor is our favorite waiter and knows our order before we order love the service and the food. Great music on Thursday's and Friday's. Great 2-4-1 specials. read more

Great spot for authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex alone, family run and managed well! They give great portions of food for great prices!

Definitely one of my favorite local restaurants! We come here very often and love the food & atmosphere! Love the queso and chips! Their taco salad is AWESOME as well as the enchiladas!! read more

The fajitas were good. Large margarita almost $17, where's the ALCOHOL, flavored water, a beer would of been better. No social distancing, piled everyone on top of each other in 25% of the restaurant. Staff wore masks when serving you other wise it was off. Chips were very stale. Salsa pre packaged containers. Charro beans should of been called charro soup. Did not know charro beans were that small. I am being generous if they gave me two tablespoons of sour crème and guacamole for the fajitas. This place has gone down hill. read more

My husband and I always order the Mesquite Grill. It is more than enough for 2 people. It has shrimp, steak, chicken and veggies. It comes with tortillas so you can make fajitas. It also comes with all the fixings such as sour cream, pico, a side of rice and beans. Also, you get chips and 3 different kinds of dip with any meal purchase the moment you sit down. Quick service too! read more

this place is horrible! service sucks! my order was totally and inexplicably wrong! then i could not even reach them by phone! worse place ever!!! read more

Not the best Mexican food but I'd most likely come back. The pricing is decent for the generous portion that you get. $16 for a huge combination plate of steak/chicken/shrimp fajitas. Great for kids and adults of any age. Happy hour is btwn 3-7 and you won't want to miss out bc you will throughly enjoy their margaritas! A Mariachi band will serenade you on Thursday nights so come out if you want a little live entertainment while filling up on free chips and salsa and bean dip. read more

Second time I tried coming NO WHERE ON THE INTERNET NOR ON THE YELP SAYS 9 and even the red sign was on and the signs on the door say 10 y'all are making people drive for nothing I will never come back! Horrible management! read more

Very bad. Very disappointed. Children's drink is not included and is $2.50. Far too much for a child's drink. He didn't even drink it all. If I had known the amount or that it wasn't included we would not have ordered it. Food was soggy and the service was slow. read more

Our server was only on her third day so I could understand she was still getting the hang of things, but everything took forever! I couldn't decide what I wanted so she took my friends order and didn't come back to get my order until she was already finished her meal. And then it took even longer for us to get the checks and change. My daughter got the tenders and fries and there's no way they are made with real chicken because they were rubbery and just disgusting! The food portions were so small for being so expensive but the carne asada was very good. read more

The restaurant is new. The atmosphere is good and there is ample seating. We have been here 2 times. The first was shortly after its opening. The 2nd visit was much better. You get 3 different dips for your chips. The black bean dip is very good. The food was clean and fresh. The prices are reasonable. We enjoyed it. read more

Went in was seated very quickley. The watries was very good at her job and friendly. Food arived very fast.I had the enchiladas beef chicken bean and cheese. They were good. I always compare every Mexican restaurant to the one I ate in Galveston Texas. I think it was called Tortuga trading company I think now that was excellent food. I have to say I will give them another try. read more

This place started out really good . However as time has progressed the quality of the food seems to have decreased. The service is usually really good... The menu is larger than most similar restaurants. read more

Crazy yummy food. Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Highly suggest the steak tacos or burrito loco. I've heard rave reviews about the margaritas but haven't imbibed myself. read more

I have been to several locations of this restaurant and the food is pretty consistent. Delicious! One of my favorite. However, I never seem to have great service at this location. This time wasn't the worst I've had here, but not the best either. the waiter was nice enough although not going out of his way to talk. My drink was never refilled nor were our chips and 3 of us were sharing. I can't complain about my food although my cousin's came our cold. Of course I'll be back because I love their food bit their staff could definitely improve. read more

I love the chicken and cheese nachos and the chicken quesadillas. They have 2 for 1 margaritas, but I find them to be quite loose. They are usually pretty steady with customers. I have only gotten poor service once. read more

Service is very slow. Food is mediocre. I have had worse, I have had better. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

Sooo yummy I love there drinks especially during happy hour I love the Tortilla chips along with the bean dip salsa and red sauce not to mention its complementary read more

This "Mexican Restaurant" is ok. I ordered the tacos al carbon and the carnitas were dry. "Fajita" had no flavor but al pastor taco was good. Menu says it comes with cheese lol! Once you add cheese it's called a quesadilla. None of the tacos are actually al carbon they just put a fancy name to it. Their place is very Americanized if I might add. I added an extra star because the beer was cold so I'll give them that lol. read more

Arrived at 9:45. Door was locked. Door advised 11pm. Called and was told they was closed for the night. With people inside.

Sorry, but I didn't care for this at all. The food was bland bland bland. The sopapillas were good but that's about it. I had a chicken enchilada, beef enchilada and a chile relleno. All bland. The sauce was kind of sweet. The cheese was just about nonexistent. I really wanted to like it! :( read more

Not from this area :Went there on a Friday night very busy. Server was very friendly though she got my order wrong . Food came out in a reasonable time. I got enchiladas and beans husband got a big burrito with beef, rice and beans. Hubby enjoyed his mine was ok. U get chips with 3 small bowls of black beans and a hot salsa and cold. I wasn't impressed with any of them. Been here once before wasn't impressed with any of it then. Both times we went it was crowded so there must be something good about it or its cause it's the only Mexican rest for many miles. read more

I enjoy this as much as the next chain Mexican restaurant. I love that they give two types of salsa and a black bean dip when you sit down. The mariachi band night is cool too. Overall quality is pretty good and a nice visit every time. I can't remember the name of my favorite dish but it's on the "new dinner menu" with steak, cilantro, onions and served with a grilled jalapeño. Next time I visit I'll include this dishes name in my review. I only really dislike the beans and rice, too bland. read more

One of my favs is the Chimichanga...(not sure of spelling)....also, their ribeyes are great if you not feeling to Mexican foody! The enchiladas are really good too. Thurs night they have a great band, so if you don't like music while eating, go another night. The food and service is great, and...... I have met the manager there and he is very friendly. read more

There aren't many dining options in Luling/Boutte, in general, much less any with as good of hours as El Paso. I like that I can go pretty much any time of any day of the week & they'll be open. I have no complaints about the food or service & I go about once a week. This is one of the few places with 3 dips that come with the chips! They have entertainment a few nights a week & it's a clean restaurant. Can't complain about that! read more

Love me some El Paso ... went their Thursday night with some friends and they never disappoint ... love me some chips and queso and of course the 2 for 1 margs they have the best !!! Always satisfied with my food .. I ordered the shrimp taco salad and it was delish ... the live entertainment is always fun as well !!! read more

Stopped in for some chips salsa and queso $13.75 + tip! Cheaper to get the fajitas. My business will be going to El Mexicana down the street! read more

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, do not come here. This place is crowded only because it's one of two in the entire town. The wait staff acts as if they have better things to do and the manager is a horribly unfriendly man. Saves yourself the trip and go elsewhere. read more

Second try, just as dissapointing. It is run by Hispanic people, however the food is as souless and bland as a banquet tv dinner version of Mexican food, maybe it is banquet tv dinner. It was Luke warm, barely any flavor and they should be ashamed to serve it and to charge as much as they do. Taco bell has them beat, yes, it was that bad. read more

I love the food at El Paso! The portions are awesome. The service is usually pretty quick and the atmosphere is so fun! Love the live music.
