This is an absolute gem in the heart of El Paso…read more I have been here for many musicals and never grow tired of seeing its beautiful infrastructure and ornate decor that brings out so much class. To date, I have seen Phantom of the Opera, Waitress, and Hairspray. I actually also missed out on an opportunity to see the hilarious Jo Koy who did his stint here as well but heard nothing but good things! I'm thrilled that El Paso can have these Off Broadway shows so that everyone can experience the beauty of theater art and see how much talent a group of people can put a show together and wow a crowd of all ages. A lot of people don't seem to realize just how crowded a theater can get and I've literally seen people leave because of that reason. It's unfortunate because it often happens when the show has already started and people on stage very much see every movement of the audience. Although it puts a slight hamper on the theater experience for myself, the shows are beyond magical and captivating to forget all about that inconvenience thankfully. I also have never bought season tickets for anything in my life but in order to get the optimal seats I wanted AND make sure it can be for Hamilton (only the best musical to date), I had to get season tickets. For Orchestra row S, I was very happy to pay $1000 for 6 shows. Thank you La Plaza Theater for bringing more life to El Paso!

From classic rock, to Broadway shows- and even the Dave Koz Christmas Jazz spectacular I saw tonight- the sound was incredible. Every seat in the house is a good seat! You can't go wrong- El Paso, get out during the week and see a show or concert. They have a "basics" bar- they can make basic cocktails, and they have wine. They beverages are served in these very cool souvenir cups with a snap lid to prevent spills as you make your way back to your seat- and the bartenders can make a gooood drink! I take Uber or Lyft when I come so I don't have to deal with traffic and parking. There are two major restaurants right in the vicinity for pre show dinner or post show drinks and dessert. Folks take advantage- this venue would be $$$$ in NY!

Our room was really spacious (a studio suite with two full beds) and had all the accoutrements (including a fully equipped kitchen), with a wide bar and seating to separate the kitchen and living areas. The furniture was new and attractive, and the beds were comfortable. (Note: if you're used to sleeping in a queen-size bed as a couple, you may prefer each occupying a full-size bed, as they are definitely smaller.) Everything was clean and neat and very welcoming. The cost of our room was very reasonable, even including the pet fee for our cat. Every single person on staff was extremely friendly, especially Sal in the breakfast area (5-star service!). The free hot breakfast every morning was delicious and a great way to start our day. We do wish the breakfast area could institute sustainable practices in the form of reusable cups, dishes and silverware. Every room has a recycling container as well as a trash can under the sink, so the management is aware of sustainability needs. The layout of the buildings is peaceful and calming, and reminiscent of a small apartment complex. The landscaping is xeriscape and attractive. Despite its location (right off Montana and Airway), the area is very quiet and safe. We did encounter a few small issues: a loose outlet at the bar; low water pressure and a faulty diverter in the shower; lack of handy information about the property (e.g., location of the gym, line-up of TV stations); occasional difficulty reaching the front desk by phone; and no lighting at the desk where one might choose to work. But these were just small issues and certainly did not pose any problems. Again, we had a delightful stay at the Chase Suite Hotel, and we look forward to another visit the next time we are in El Paso!

They just want to buckle and dime people who are visiting their loved ones at ft. Bliss, or just coming to town for work and staying next to the airport. You have your very average, run of the mill, SHS hotel. Went to the gym to check it out and they have a bunch of "machine is out of order signs". So maybe they're using the parking fees as a pot to repair the gym equipment? Hotel was fine. Like I said it's the same basic footprint at all the shs. While the lady at the desk was nice, she did mention that the fee is very unpopular with the guests but the "manager wants to keep it". But I really don't see what value it provided. No security. No gate. So, that being said if you enjoy being nickel and dimed when you stay at a hotel this is the place for you. I will take my gold status with Marriott, elsewhere.

I can't say the overall experience is great the hotel has some serious issues but there are a few stars who shine much brighter than the rest. The room itself is easily the best part of the stay. It's clean, comfortable, and surprisingly well‑equipped. The full‑size kitchen comes with a microwave, stove, medium‑sized fridge, plates, silverware, and even dish soap. The closet is a good size, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom has plenty of towels and hand soap. The layout feels spacious, and for the price, the room quality is genuinely impressive. Breakfast is okay not amazing, but decent enough. They usually offer a few types of bread, cereals, oatmeal with lots of topping options, and some protein choices like eggs and sausage sandwiches. Drinks include orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, and more. I left early for work most days, so I didn't get to enjoy it often. Where the hotel struggles most is customer service and basic consistency. Housekeeping replaced towels multiple times, but they only made my bed once during my first two‑week stay. And on my second stay, something as simple as getting body wash turned into a ridiculous process my room was cleaned multiple times before anyone actually provided the body wash I asked for. I left notes, told reception, and every time they cleaned the room instead of just giving me the item. It wasn't until Arthur personally stepped in that I finally received it. He was the only one who took initiative and I really appreciated that. I also reported a strange noise coming from my AC. Multiple employees heard it and agreed it wasn't normal except Regina, who insisted every AC in the hotel sounds like that (I will attach). When I asked to switch rooms, the assistant manager Jasmin Peters didn't speak to me directly. She spoke to Regina and said that if I wanted to switch rooms, I would essentially have to miss work and wait until 7 a.m. for her to arrive and give an answer. That made no sense to me, especially since she could have simply given the answer during the call. Instead of helping, the process was made unnecessarily difficult. The biggest disappointment came when items were stolen from my truck. When I reported it, the hotel made it clear they could care less about theft occurring on their property. No one reviewed the footage at check‑in or afterward. Instead, they kept repeating the same excuse that only the manager, Lisa Cornelius, had the code to access the cameras and nothing could be done until she was physically present. Then they added that she was on vacation, so there was simply no way to look at the footage at all to give me any details for my insurance. No urgency, no concern, no effort. And honestly, I bet if I had called the sheriff down to the hotel, suddenly something would have been done. Their lack of care for a serious incident like theft was extremely frustrating and showed how little responsibility management was willing to take. Laundry was also an issue. The washer requires quarters, the front desk won't provide change, and the machine left my clothes smelling terrible. I had to take everything to a laundromat to rewash it. It's not the main problem with the hotel, but it definitely added to the overall frustration. Despite all of this, I want to highlight the employees who truly stand out: Arthur and Victor. They were consistently helpful, friendly, and professional. They assisted whenever I needed something and always had a great attitude. They're the real rockstars of this hotel the kind of employees who make a tough stay a little easier. Overall The rooms are great for the price clean, spacious, and comfortable with useful amenities. The breakfast is mediocre but serviceable. However, the customer‑service issues, the lack of support from management, and the unhelpful response to theft and maintenance problems are major downsides. If you stay here, enjoy the room and the kitchen, but be prepared for inconsistent service and limited help when you really need it.

This beautifully restored historic hotel has so much character, elegance, and personality. It manages to preserve the grandeur of another era while offering the comfort and sophistication of a modern luxury hotel. We stayed in a south-facing king room, and it was wonderful! The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and inviting, with lovely views that made our stay even more enjoyable. It was the perfect place to return to after spending our days exploring El Paso. The architecture and interior design throughout the property are stunning. The famous stained-glass Tiffany dome is especially impressive, and the common areas have an atmosphere that makes you want to linger rather than simply pass through. This is not your typical cookie-cutter hotel. It has a distinctive identity and a genuine sense of place. But the true standout was the front desk personnel. Absolutely exceptional! Every interaction was warm, professional, gracious, and welcoming. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel appreciated throughout our stay. That level of customer service deserves recognition because it elevates an already beautiful property into a truly memorable experience. The downtown location is another plus, with restaurants, entertainment, and local attractions conveniently nearby. After three days, we left feeling that we had made an excellent choice. Hotel Paso del Norte offers the perfect combination of historic charm, modern comfort, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding hospitality.
