This place is ok but in great need for maintenance!! The room is outdated (which doesn't bother me much) but ripped sheets and broken lights are unacceptable. Paper-thin walls, you can listen to people walking in different rooms. Breakfast is included in the price, but not very healthy choices (they had a bunch of apples that were dried out and OLD). Some staff are nice ...

Pretty spacious for a one bed

Old reviews and pictures for Chase Suite Hotel made me a little weary about a stay here, but my boyfriend and I won a night here and they said it was in their newly renovated rooms so I was all on board. We made it to CSH shortly after check-in started and I was helped as soon as I walked in the door. In just a couple of seconds I had two key cards and a map. We drove over towards our building and realized we wouldn't be able to park in front of our actual building, but on the side of a different one. I will say there is adequate parking for the lot though. If you actually had a lot of luggage that you needed to haul to your suite, you can pull on to a tiny road they have that follows the back of the lot and unload. The renovations are great! As far as I could tell, they're not done with all the rooms so you could end up in a room that has yet to be redone. The outside of the buildings looked like they needed some renovations too, but nothing crazy... just a new coat of paint. Our room was pretty nice and they did a great job of sectioning off the "bedroom" from the "living room" and kitchen. The bed was a king sized, clean, and adorned with down pillows... just the way I like it. The kitchen was equipped with all the plates, glasses, silverware, and utensils we could need as well as a new stove, dishwasher, microwave, full-sized fridge, and two bar stools at the oversized counter. My only gripe about the whole room is that the drawers in the kitchen aren't on a track. I nearly dropped all of the silverware on the floor. The "living room" is a small sitting area in front of the fireplace. Nice! I really liked the bathroom and it looked like they redid the floor as well. I didn't try out their wi-fi because who uses their phones and laptops during a staycation? But I do know that it's available and they give you the password as soon as you check in. As far as the rest of the amenities go, they have two pools, a jacuzzi, a Continental breakfast in the morning, complimentary happy hour on Monday-Thursday, and free access to the nearest Planet Fitness (about six miles away). Out of all the amenities we did try out the Continental breakfast. Unfortunately, this, I wasn't impressed by. They had a good variety of choices... four cereal options, yogurt, bagels, bread, orange juice, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. I didn't try the scrambled eggs, but the potatoes were cold. The flow was good, but it honestly just felt like the staff put the least amount of effort towards the breakfast and morning experience. There was one lady that was standing behind the counter the whole time doing a crossword and she would occasionally look up and say "good morning" only to return to her crossword again and never engage in conversation with those standing only inches away from her waiting for their toast to be done. She actually didn't come across as that friendly either. At one point my boyfriend went to get a bagel and the tongs had disappeared (someone had put them inside the bread case on the bottom shelf... not easy to see if you don't bend over) and she started yelling at him. I understand using tongs, but clearly he wasn't aware there were tongs and there was absolutely no reason to yell. A man came over (possibly a manager) and placed tongs on top of the handle (doesn't really seem like a good place for tongs) and within minutes they had disappeared again. I think the breakfast staff could've been a lot more welcoming and involved with those staying at the hotel. Would've been nice for them to ask how our stay was while I was waiting for a bagel or start some small talk or give me some insider scoop about the El Paso area (hey, they don't know I live here). It wouldn't deter me from staying here again, but it also doesn't entice me. I've checked the prices for these suites and they're doable. A night is less than $100. It isn't fancy, but this is a good hotel for someone who is planning on being in the area for a bit because of the amenities in the room. Instead of going out to eat for every single meal, you can cook in your room. And I mean actually cook, none of that microwaved TV dinner stuff. Overall, a good hotel with wonderful renovations done! I'd stay here again for another EP staycation.

Acceptable. I had the standard studio with a queen bed (not the executive queen) Certainly dated in some obvious ways, but they have a full fridge, microwave, and stove. About 5 minutes ride from the airport. Would I stay here for over $100 a night? There are probably better airbnb options.

Affordable and spacious rooms. we stayed in a 2 room suite. It has a full kitchen, 2 restrooms , one king size bed , 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. If you're traveling with a big family or just want extra space this is a great place to stay

    Dingy walls.

I reserved my room for work purposes over a month in advance. Upon arriving around 5:00 pm to check in, I was informed they were waiting for me to arrive. I was informed there was no room available, as there was a gas leak. I understand these things happen and head towards the other hotel where they reserved a room for me. However, I'm a little agitated they did not call to let me know I could not check in. Upon arriving to the second hotel, the outside is not attractive as it has rusty doors and yellow caution tape around the pool. The next day, I was called and asked if I would return. I explained I would because the hotel chosen for me was not comparable. Thinking I was complementing them, they thanked me. I proceeded to explain it was not a compliment. I was upset. Upon arriving at the hotel to check in I voiced my disapproval again. I was told it was out of their control and sent to a room which reeks of smoke, is old and out dated, and dingy at best. The shower tub does not drain and the curtain floats in the water. After digging through towels, I managed to find one without hair on it. The floor was soaked, be sure to put a towel down. The hand towels were covered in black marks. Just awful. Since I have left I have contacted the office 3 times asking for proof that I was sent to another hotel, as I need it for my work records. It still has not arrived...3 days later and a call each day.

The kitchenette is sufficient to longer stays. Front desk staff weren't always at the front desk and in the back but when I went to the front desk, they noticed me immediately. But one lady wasnt the most friendly. The bad...as i mentioned i went to the front desk a few times. My keycard would stop working randomly. It was extremely frustrating. It happened to me 3 times in my 2 nigjt stay. There were crumbs outside in the hallway in front of my door upon my arrival. I stayed 2 nights, the crumbs were there upon my departure which tells me the staff doesnt vacuum daily or even every other day. The food in the morning was cold and dry. I arrived at midnight via Uber from the airport so I just wanted to go shower and straight to bed. I was hungry the next morning. The waffle maker timer is broken so I had to estimate how long is was cooking my waffles before I noticed it wasnt counting down. Lastly, there was a bug in my room...ill stop short of identifying it as a roach but ive attached a photo.

The bedding did not get changed. I asked them again and they gave me bedding to change it myself. When I took the sheet off, I saw a large urine stain on the mattress protector. So I just took that off. Then I went to wash my hands and there was no soap. I had to go back downstairs and request that as well. They did give me an extra bottle of water for my troubles though. The room was pretty run down and clearly not well cleaned. The shower curtain rod sagged in the middle so I couldn't close the shower curtain when I showered and got water everywhere. The towels were very stiff, had a bit of a smell to them and were stained. I honestly didn't want to use them. The gym was decent. 2 treadmills, 2 electrical, and a peleton. Breakfast was not so great. I had a made to order omelet but it just wasn't good. Neither was anything else I tried. I did appreciate that the mattress was a softer one instead of the firm mattresses you usually get at hotels. And the water for showers did get really hot which I love. I booked a room next to the stairwell as I prefer stairs to the elevator but the stairwell exit/entrance is on the outside with no re-entry. So you can go down them but can't go up them. I didn't get a chance to go to the daily evening reception but it looked pretty popular. All in all, this hotel needs some TLC and I would advise anyone to book accommodations elsewhere.

We have family in El Paso to stay with, but absolutely cannot pass up an opportunity to keep coming back to Embassy. This trip was sadder than most as we were dealing with second funeral this year . A huge shout out to the night (manager?) concierge Cynthia Martin, she was the nicest most sincere person, but she truly made the hotel welcoming when we got in at 3 AM. Everybody at Embassy suites is very nice, but Miss Martin truly went out of her wayto express her condolences. We had a great time at the pool and enjoy our breakfast every morning but again Cynthia Martin really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

I've stayed at this hotel many times in the past few years and I didn't expect anything different…read morefrom my stay last night, but it was the worst experience I've ever had at this hotel. I arrived late in the evening and the lady at the desk rushed me through check in without bothering to inform me of the amenities or when breakfast was served. I'm very familiar with these things but this was the first time they were not mentioned. I was given the option to pick which floor I would like to be on and I chose the ground floor. I'm usually assigned to the second or third floor so I thought not having to go up the stairs would be nice for a change. Oh how wrong I was... My room was really close to the lobby and I could hear the muffled voices and shuffling of every person who walked through the area. Someone had a really bad cough and they weren't being quiet about it. I went to the soda fountain a couple of times during the night to refill my cup and the lady at the desk scowled at me every time. I guess I was interrupting the videos she was watching on her phone. The noise from the lobby eventually quieted down and I was able to fall asleep around midnight, but then I was abruptly woken up at 5am by the fire alarm. I wasn't sure what it was at first because it was a sharp shriek that cut off and repeated every 10 seconds or so instead of a continuous siren like most fire alarms. I went out into the hall to see other guests wondering what was going on. I went to the front desk and another employee was fiddling with the emergency controls in the red box on the wall. She was manually silencing the alarm every time it went off, which explained the sudden cut off in the noise. She asked what I wanted and I asked if there was an emergency and if we needed to evacuate. She nonchalantly told me that someone was either smoking in their room or tampering with the fire alarm but there was no emergency. I was concerned about the latter statement but she told me there was nothing she could do about it. She was on the phone with someone (maybe the management, or maybe the fire department) but I was too irritated to care so I went back to my room. Many more guests had entered the lobby in various states of confusion and concern but they were also told "no emergency." I tried going back to sleep but I couldn't due to all the other people in the area, and then I started hearing what I thought was an air compressor filling it's tank. I couldn't figure out what the noise was exactly, but it happened every 5 minutes and would last about 30 seconds before stopping. I went back to the hallway and looked at the elevator but it made a different sound. Since sleep was no longer an option, I stayed awake and packed up around 7:30am. On my way to the lobby I heard the sound again and realized that it was being made by these two commercial refrigerators in a closet at the end of the hall. I was sort of right in the fact that it was a compressor making the noise, but I didn't think a refrigerator was the cause. There was a different lady at the desk and she didn't ask about my stay when I checked out. She asked if I wanted my receipt, but that was it. If she was informed about the chaos that happened a few hours earlier, I imagine she didn't want guests to have the invitation to complain by asking "how was everything?" I was too tired and pissed off to say anything so I left. I had booked my reservation three weeks ago and got a great deal on the one night for $80 (it was actually $95 after taxes). My previous stay at this hotel was about three months ago and after last night, I'm seriously reconsidering staying at this hotel again. Oh, there's also an abandoned van sitting in the parking lot. It's been out there for at least five months and the tires are all flat. I asked the staff about it during my last stay because I keep seeing it but they told me it wasn't their concern. So a broken down, abandoned vehicle languishing in your parking lot isn't your concern? Ok.

The rates were affordable, so I booked it for a night as I traveling to NM by morning. It was an 8-hour drive from Austin and I had arrived late, however, I was greeted with smiles from the front desk staff. There was plenty of parking since they shared parking with the next-door hotel. The room I received did not have much of a view, but a tree. It was fine since the room was clean and did not have a musty odor. There was decor representing El Paso and even the headboard had an "ELP" graffiti mural on it which was a nice touch of character. I loved the bright lime green and the blue colors which added more charm to the room. It was modernized with a twist. The bed slept comfortably soft as well as the pillows. I slept like a baby, to say the least. Upon walking up in the morning, I got dressed to go downstairs for breakfast. I was shocked to find out that they had something that I could eat. I got a bowl, some bananas, granola, with Kikkoman Pearl Soymilk in vanilla and had a fulfilling breakfast. I absolutely loved my stay at this Best Western! It was a pleasant experience and I honestly cannot wait to stay again.
