There was also a savory ricotta forward pastry that tasted almost pizza-like?? I would definitely get it again if I ever found out the name of it! The Rosemary Focaccia was light and fluffy, with a really nice rosemary and olive oil drizzle. The Blue Masa Sourdough was really unique, it literally tasted like a corn tortilla in sourdough form and something I would get again! The Ube Croffin was probably my least favorite. It tasted more sweet than ube, and I didn't think it needed the extra sugar dusted on top. The cream filling didn't add much to the pastry either since it didn't have much flavor. I wish it had a stronger ube taste instead of just being sweet. Overall, I would come back for the savory pastries and the Blue Masa Sourdough. I'm looking forward to trying more pastries from here when in the area next.

My wife and I came to dine at the diner next door, spotted 6100 Bakery, and figured we'd pop in for…read morea couple of coffees. Famous last words. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family. Jordan and the cashier were all smiles, full of energy, incredibly welcoming, and immediately offering samples. What started as a two-coffee pit stop somehow turned into an $85 bakery haul. Honestly, we didn't stand a chance. And the baked goods??? Absolutely ridiculous. The focaccia had that beautiful balance of texture and flavor you hope for from a proper bakery. The croissants were fantastic, the croque monsieur baguette was dangerously good, and the cookies were just the beginning. There were also a few things I couldn't confidently pronounce or fully explain, but Jordan recommended them, and at that point, I was willing to let the man cook. Literally. As someone who genuinely appreciates quality baked goods, I can tell when a place takes its craft seriously. But what really sets 6100 apart is the people. Jordan was exceptional. He knew his products, made thoughtful recommendations, and brought an infectious enthusiasm that made us feel like regulars before we'd even bought anything. Great products get you through the door. People like Jordan make you want to come back. Do yourself a favor and don't sleep on this place. Come for the coffee, leave with enough baked goods to require a budget review at home. Five stars, easily. We'll be back.

The cream is super smooth and filled with actual durian pulp--no artificial flavor at all. The sponge is so light and fluffy that it almost melts in your mouth, and it pairs perfectly with the rich, fruity durian cream. I already love fresh durian and durian ice cream, but this was my first time trying a durian cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The 6-inch cake was $68, so it's definitely a treat, but I'd happily buy it again. Just make sure to order a few days ahead. The service was amazing too. Since it was our anniversary, they added a cute "Happy Anniversary" sign to the cake at no extra charge. When we picked it up, they even reminded us to head straight home because the summer heat could affect the cake. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their cakes and want customers to enjoy them at their best. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!

I wanted to try a slice first and it was $5, $40 for the small. Really good, tasty cream and fresh fruit. One minor thing was the customer service could be better, maybe it was just an off day. After perusing, we greeted the counter and asked for a cake slice. Contemplating, I asked my partner if we should get 1 or 2 slices. The interaction was impatient and irritable as she described the prices. Unfortunately I think when we walked up, it was bad timing as we accidentally interrupted her break :(

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

This is the 3rd Chaupain location I've been to, I happened to be in the area. I like everything - I've tried nearly all of their pastries and cakes, this time I tried the cinnamon roll- which was insanely good, soft, and tasted of such quality. Actually - never tried their quiche, which is certainly on a bucket list for next time. I highly recommend everything they have - but just to name a new, the guava cream cheese, cinnamon cream cheese, mixed berry bateau, opera cake, vanilla scone, any of their croissants, lemon tiramisu, and the jamon sandwich is incredible - I love that the bread had a chewy texture, which is perfect for this sandwich.
