We received the shrimp & crab relatively fast; perfect texture and flavor. Everything was juicy and easy to peel. Our server forgot our 4lb crawfish order probably because we had been talking flavors etc no biggie it was fixed quickly..... however after our crawfish was rush ordered it came out with dark red shells that were super hard. Generally this is from it being served right after its required boil cook time and NOT soaking for the additional 20-30 minutes needed to soften the shells and soak up the flavor. The crawfish were extremely difficult to peel and many stuck the inside of the shells another indication that it wasn't post soaked. I asked the server to ask the kitchen if our batch had been post soaked or straight from the boiler... he came back letting me know that they told him "well it's the end of the season and that's probably why they're OFF".... this response is utterly insane to me as we eat crawfish several times a week allllllll through the season and 3 places just in last 7 days and they were easy to peel and around the same size as these. It's not the servers fault at all; he offered to bring something else but my husband was already fighting his way through the bag and after the horrible excuse from the kitchen I'm just gonna stop somewhere else on the way home. I'm not ok with wasted food or money as crawfish is a waste when it's stuck in the shells. Please post soak your crawfish as it's such an easy fix. It being June and the end of season IS NO EXCUSE Crab and shrimp 10/10 Crawfish 2/10 Service 9/10

Our server was friendly, polite, and frequently checked on us. She was alone serving a few tables and did a great job at balancing her time between all tables. Shout out to her! Ambiance is great, music playing in the background, place is clean and their AC is working! Since we are in Houston let's give them an extra point for having their AC working at a cool temperature!

It wasn't ready when I got there but I was ok because I wanted it fresh. Ordered shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes and snow crab. Combo sauce and medium spice. There was plenty of food. We had about 6 pc of corn, and 12 potatoes. Two of us ate twice with even more leftover. They do not take tap to pay, need the physical card and they have daily specials that might have been better than menu prices. Check the daily specials before ordering. The place was empty on sat afternoon. Not sure why it's not crowded, it's a nice place. I used the restroom while I waited.

We made a simple request to have them put the seafood on the side so we could get a full container of the liquid gumbo - and add the seafood ourselves as we desired. OTHERWISE they fill the container with so much other stuff than the liquid, we get home with almost zero gumbo liquid ... and this has happened on MULTIPLE occasions!!! ... ... which wouldn't be such an issue ... IF ... they only included SEAFOOD ... BUT!!! ... They fill the container with so much SAUSAGE, you hardly get any seafood ... SEE PICTURE! ... Above that, NOWHERE does it say on their menu that sausage is included ... That's FALSE ADVERTISING!!! ... We proceeded to order the large SEAFOOD gumbo and it should ONLY have SEAFOOD in it .... SHEESH!!! ... We get it home and it is filled primarily with sausage ... AGAIN ... AND we find out the kitchen staff / owner (?) is making HER pay for the container of liquid out of her own pocket!!! WHO DOES THAT!!!??? A lot of my crawfish had no tails. At least a 1/2 pound or a little more. The crawfish was overcooked a decent hard to peel. It is a 2pound minimum, which is fine. I asked for 2 pounds of the house special and 1 pound of Thai basil. I was told I had to get another pound of the Thai basil or the 3 pounds would have to be one flavor. Nowhere stated that. I feel like my waitress was just trying to get me another pound. Then, they only checked on me 1x. I got quickly reminded why I stopped coming.

We started off with a few of my favorite appetizers. First off was some a sampler of oyster. I'm more of a chargrilled oyster fan and that was my favorite of the bunch even though they were all good. I just gotta have calamari anywhere I go. They do it really well here and add some Cajun flair to theirs. We also shared some of the wings. They do more of a dry Cajun rub and it is very good. Two of us went with boil combos. I like the Combo 1 which comes with 1 pound of crawfish, 1/2 a pound of shrimp, 1 corn and 1 potato. It's the right amount of food for me since I am a slow peeler. I also added a sausage link. My go to for sauces is the signature house blend which is a combination of their garlic butter and kickin' Cajun. It always hits the spot. The day we came, the crawfish were big and easy to peel. The sauce was on point and it had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Our out of town guest had the etouffee and loved it, but also loved some of our boiled crawfish as well. I think we did a solid job of converting a once crawfish hater thanks to Crawfish Cafe. This location was great and I would happily come back next time I am in the area.
