Had a great dinner at El Nuevo Mexicali III in Springville. The Molcaquete was huge - look at the video!! This dish has everything in it, shrimp, chicken, carne asada, cheese, Mexican toasted green onions, two toasted jalapeño; served with rice and beans on the side. Rudy and Amador really enjoyed the rib eye; perfectly cooked. The enchiladas suizas were good, I like the sauce and toppings on them. The green salsa was amazing it tasted like some chilies were roasted while others were raw (crudos) so the combo of the two made the salsa taste even special - spicy just how I like it. They have karaoke on Friday nights starting at 7pm. The service is great too they were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely turn. I enjoyed the food and company. read more

To bean or not to bean!? So I was so excited about this place but I recently got my dinner from there and the refried beans were inedible. They were so burned it ruined everything around it. People work hard in order to pay for food. And to get burnt beans which is thee easiest thing to make really makes me not happy. You served that knowing it was burned. So since the new owners took over the food has actually been very good and worthy of 3-4 stars ...... but we ate here tonite which is a Sunday .. and a small thing but the cheese on the enchiladas was not melted like it should be .... but the worst part is that the beans were burned so bad they were not edible .. all 3 meals had the same thing .... the beans tasted so burnt and smoky that we had to eat around them , we got this food to go so we couldn't send it back , other wise we would have ..... but seriously we couldn't even eat them so it was bad ..... I hope they can get some consistency here and fix things like this , beans are a staple here so if you can't cook these correctly you have no business owning a restaurant read more

I ordered a taco salad. What the hell is this? A normal mediocre taco salad has crisp lettuce, tomatoes, ground beef that is browned, maybe cheese, some rice or beans, pics de gallo. I had to add my own tapatio and tortilla chips. What they have me was weird, gray, mushy, and bland as all get out. No, please. Get out. Get out of the Mexican food industry. I ordered the asada fries and it was the worst food I have ever had! Not to mention they charged me $14. The fries were undercooked the guacamole was fake and the salsa was watery! Absolutely disgusting! I don't recommend them at all! read more

We stopped in after visiting scicon this afternoon. The server/waiter was very pleasant, attentive and made sure we always had enough food and drink. Checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. We got a free order of fries due to a mix up in the kitchen. All the staff was friendly. The food was very good. If we are ever back that way we will definitely be stopping in again. read more

When you are in Springville, your options might be limited. This place supplies adequate meals which provide you with the energy to keep going. Came here for a beer before meeting the family in springville. This is the only place to even order beer in springville so I should give 5 stars just for that. We got Micheladas which were amazing and full of flavor, served with celery and a shrimp like a Bloody Mary. Service was quick and with a smile. Chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. Will for sure come back when were in springville. I'm sure it's pretty hard for them to keep this business alive in such a tiny town, so props to them for the love! read more

Don't go here. Go to Giffords buy a can of re-fried beans, a bag of tortillas, Pace picante salsa and a bag of chips. You will be way more satisfied. I stopped going here years ago because the food was horrible. I was starving and decided they couldn't ruin a couple enchiladas. Well I was wrong. I'm guessing I was eating yesterday's leftovers. The rice was dry and not fresh. The enchiladas were Rubbery and uneatable. I only ate a quarter of my meal walked up to the counter told them it was horrible and wasn't offered a refund. Last time I go to this dump. Who ever owns this place should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn't feed this crap to my dog. read more

Been eating here since it opened- in other words- years. Excellent service, reasonable prices. Especially good Albondigas soup- order the medium size as the large is gigantic (or share it). Good rolled tacquitos with guacamole. They serve Negra Modelo, my favorite Mexican dark beer, too. Most of the Sonoran-style dishes are OK and dependable and portions are very large. Good tacos, burritos and enchiladas however, going off from the Mexican items, their bacon cheeseburger is wonderful... decent club and pastrami too ! Have been eating there weekly for years and the last few months we started having stomach aches and diarrhea after eating there. I heard other locals complaining of the same thing? Besides the service and the foods flavor has gone down hill quite a bit. I noticed the servers always sitting around eating out of the kitchen including their friends. (Very Unsanitary) We've been eating at eltap down the street now for over a month and no diarrhea or stomach pains. And now after I saw the political Gurrola for supervisor signs in their parking lot I doubt we'll be going back. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received Waitress was rude! It would have been nice to have our tortillas with our dinner. Had to ask twice to get them. No visit from the waitress to check on us it would have been nice to have a refill on our drinks, since most of what we ordered was overcooked. Its really sad how downhill this business has gone. You expect a little more, at least in service, for the cost of a dinner. Guess we should have gone to EL TAPATIO. . read more
