Food: Chile Relleno plate w black beans, rice, a small bag of fresh tortilla chips, and two kinds of mildly spicy salsa. Sometimes Mexican restaurants are confused by tomatillo sauce and chili Verde sauce. But growing up in Colorado there is a huge difference in the taste. One is made with green chilies and the other is made with green tomatoes. I grew up in Colorado, where the Mexicans always covered or stuffed their burritos with chili Verde. Their beans are pretty good. Sometimes you get beans that are tasteless because they don't use Manteca to flavor them. I like that they have a separate bar area where you can sit usually in a smaller quieter area. I also love that they are open all day long.
