When I was able to make a visit, this small restaurant has limited seatings but manageable. You walk up to the counter, order your food selection and they will bring it out to you. You can dine in or take out. If you don't mind a little wait since everything is made fresh. I ordered 7 items: 1) Lengua taco 2) Chicken taco 3) Cubana sandwich 4) 1/4 Chicken 5) Plantains 6) Cactus salad 7) Cucumber drink. The 1/4 chicken was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The two sides ordered was plantains and cactus salad. The plantains were perfectly fried. The cactus salad was unique and surprisingly amazing. It is definitely a OMG level good. Everything on that platter was delicious. The two tacos were very tasty but what made it different was their freshly homemade corn tortillas. Between the lengua (tongue) and chicken, I prefer the lengua because unlike most lengua I've tasted in taco form, these were much tender, juicy and cut bigger than most. The flavors got more concentrated as I took more bites. When the cubana sandwich arrive to the table, I was totally surprised of how ginormous it was. According to the photo it look nothing like it but turn out to be a torta. This torta can feed 4 people if cut into quarters but unfortunately this item fell flat for me. It just had so much components and they were all bland. It had breaded beef, breaded chicken, fried egg and four other ingredients. It just made the whole sandwich very dry. They had three unique drinks: cucumber with lime, horchata and hibiscus. I selected the cucumber with lime, it was very refreshing and soothing. They also had other variety of drinks in the refrigerator. The restaurant was clean, cozy and filled with some decor. They also had a small table in the dining area with all the essential items such as napkins, plastic utensils, hot sauces and to go containers for your convenience. I had impeccable service from my server/ cashier Alexandra. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely make another visit to try other items on their menu.

Again, these are big, well filled tacos... one is enough for the average appetite. This time I didn't order any sides, just didn't need one, and the total was under $14 including tax. I think this is pretty good value, especially considering they will refill your drink. I got the horchata with my refill, it was great too. Everyone here was very nice and appreciative. As you walked in, there's a gorgeous bar on the right side and dining area throughout the restaurant. The menu has a big and variety of selections, I ordered 6 items: 1) Shrimp Empanadas 2) Lengua Taco 3) Chicken Taco 4) Pork and Chorizo Taco 5) Quesadilla Fajita 6) Xango. At each table, you are served with complimentary chips, salsa and a white sweet sauce. You can tell the chips were fresh, the salsa was a little thick with a hint of heat, just the way I like it. The white sauce, a little too sweet for me but if you combine them together.. perfect. When the quesadilla fajita arrive to the table, it was perfectly pan seared, the first bite was amazing. The chicken was very tender and it was accompanied by shredded lettuce, sour cream, cilantro and diced tomatoes. I wasn't expecting the size of those shrimp empanadas to be that big but okay, let's do this. They were nice and crispy on the outer layer but unfortunately the stuffing was supposed to be shrimp but I didn't taste anything because it was bland. It was served with white queso but even adding the queso, there wasn't much difference in flavor. When I order their tacos which you can also mix match so I ordered 3 different proteins 1) chicken 2) lengua (beef tongue) and 3 pork and chorizo with pineapple. When the dish arrived to the table, I was disappointed of how it was represented. All three tacos were stacked on top of each other as the proteins were falling out, the plate was too small and served with a ramekin of hot salsa and a mixture of diced onions, cilantro, lime wedge in another ramekin. The lengua and chicken were both so so tender like melt in your mouth. Wow!! Unfortunately the pork and chorizo with pineapple was unique but I wasn't able to pick it up like you normally would on a taco. Since it was on the very bottom, the flour tortilla got very mushy and I had no choice then to use a fork and knife. The flavor was different and it was okay. For dessert, I try their Xango which is a flour tortilla stuffed with a banana flavored cheesecake, coated with sugar and cinnamon, served with vanilla ice cream, and topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and sprinkles. With all the components, this dessert was bland. There wasn't any hint of banana flavored in that cheesecake filling, and the only thing was good was the ice cream with chocolate drizzle. The restaurant was clean and had some decor throughout the dining area. My server Katherin was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Though a few dishes weren't up to par, I would still make another visit to try other items on their menu.

The menu is pretty extensive and they serve pretty much all the traditional dishes from breakfast to dinner (they're open 6AM to 9PM). Some dishes are only available certain days of the week, so be sure to ask if your pick is available when you visit. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and brought menus right away. Mr. Marvin, who is the owner's husband, took our drink order and even brought us a little appetizer on the house (tostones with pico de gallo). As an appetizer, we had "pastelitos," which are akin to beef empanadas. Pastelitos (3x order) are deep fried and filled with diced potato and ground beef. They are served with slaw and a side of salsa. Delicious. For our entrees we had the Bandeja Paisa (a platter of various Colombian dishes including chicharrón (pork rind/crackling), chorizo, rice, beans, avocado, and plantain. This is the way to go if you're hungry. We also had the enchiladas (2x order), which are essentially a fried tortilla with ground beef topped with slaw, a tomato slice, hard boiled egg, and grated cheese. They are large, so two enchiladas is plenty. Very authentic and with plenty of flavor. So good! The restaurant offers fresh natural juices and soft drinks. They also have a number of Honduran desserts (check out the "Others" part of the menu) and, on the other side of the restaurant, they also sells smoothies, crepes, waffles, and snack food (sisters business called Chile Mango).
