The service was amazing, food delicious and variety of fresh baked goods daily. Fast forward, today, the service is lack luster at best, choices are few and the smell in the old building leaves a lot to be desired. In addition, I went in yesterday and noticed that they have started adding 15% service charge to all checks. Unsure why, but that is their right. But mind you this is in addition to the tip jar at the register. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich to go and it was $12.50 (no chips, sides or pickle) plus the 15% and standard taxes. I paid $16. and change. Not worth it to me, and especially considering the service. The staff seemed like I was bothering her and I was an inconvenience. I am passionate about supporting small local owned businesses vs chains but I will take my business elsewhere going forward. Despite some previous reviews about the dryness of the cupcakes and the bland cheesecake, we wanted to give it a go. Welp, those reviews were precise! My daughter could not finish her cupcake (that is the 1st time ever for her!!) she said it was very dry and crumbly, almost a dry biscuit like texture. And even with the 4 different types of cheesecake, it really lacked flavor. Someone reviewed it as eating straight butter, I would say it was more like eating just a block of cream cheese. I mean oreo, strawberry, should have some of those flavors in the actual cheesecake part right? At this point even some vanilla extract would've did some justice, but nope nada. While we were deciding which 4 slices we wanted, we asked if they would have pumpkin cheesecake coming in the near future (hints the Fall season). The lady helping us didn't answer the question but instead stated "well the gingerbread cheesecake would taste like it". Who has ever thought gingerbread and pumpkin would be the same??? Needless to say, we won't be back and (mental note) we should probably trust reviews with specific details more.

They've been in business for over two generations, and all of the ladies who work there are extremely friendly and they go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service! I'm 70 years old, and if I were younger I would love to work there. They're doing it "ALL right" to still be in a thriving bakery business in our struggling times. I get my holiday orders in early, and once you become a regular customer you'll understand why! They work endlessly to make sure that they have taken care of their customers wants and needs long before Christmas Eve. They close the bakery from the afternoon on Christmas Eve, and they stay closed until after the New Year! We all realize how important it is for their staff to enjoy the holidays with their own families and friends, so we make sure that we're set with our bakery orders and needs before Christmas Eve. We'll be in line and happily waiting for them to open their doors again after the New Year! Thank you for the years of kindness and quality baked goods, coupled with outstanding customer service and hospitality In our community! Sincerely from, Kimberly Ann Hall

It saddens me to write this warning because this vendor has helped me out with events in the past,…read moreand someone who I considered a friend.  As a wedding vendor myself, I know what a bad review can do to your business. But I would not want a bride to hire a vendor that does not deliver on their promises. I paid Tiffany Sweets and Treats to make a birthday cake for my husband at the beginning of October. Unfortunately she was unable to make it, after payment had been made in full. She cancelled the order the day that I needed it. On that day, she told me that it could take up to 30 days to receive my refund. I granted her grace, even though it had not even been 7 days since the order was placed and paid for. Thirty days has now passed, I have not received my refund, and she has not replied to any of my attempts to contact her. Because she was a friend and a vendor that I had worked with in the past, I used regular PayPal for the payment. I want to warn any bride against this, because if there are any problems or issues, you cannot refute the charges as you can by paying through a business account. It is definitely worth it to pay the extra fees associated with using a business account. I wish all the brides the best with their planning, and to check references and reviews on ALL their vendors!

This is a follow-up to our previous 5-star on other sites written right after our wedding in July…read more2017. As most of you probably know, Tiffany promises an anniversary cake in the package you select upon hiring her to make your wedding cake. It is now a year and 2 months after my wife's and I's wedding, and we still have not received our anniversary cake. My wife contacted Tiffany via Facebook messenger at the end of June this year, asking about the process of setting up a date/time to pick up our anniversary cake. She quickly responded and gave her a date for when my wife could pick up the cake. She also mentioned that she would be away on vacation for a couple weeks after my designated pick-up date, and I told her I would contact her closer to the date to figure out a time and place to pick it up. Fast forward to the night before she was supposed to pick up the cake - she messaged Tiffany again asking about a time for the next day, thinking we would have heard from her before this regarding the type of cake and time/place to pick it up. My wife have since never received a response. My wife and I waited a couple of weeks for her to return from vacation, and then I called her. I called her every day for 2 weeks from various phone numbers and never received a response. About a month later, my I tried calling again, only to find out Tiffany had blocked my number. We contacted our wedding planner, and she then spoke with Tiffany later that night during an event. Tiffany claimed that she never heard back from us about our anniversary cake. After waiting another day or two, my wife then messaged Tiffany again on Facebook, very politely asking for a response as to what happened, to which she is still awaiting a response. My wife and I were so eager to receive our anniversary cake because we absolutely loved our wedding cake, and if we had known this was going to happen, we would have frozen what was left of our cake on our wedding night. We are still extremely disappointed and confused, especially since both my wife and I had recommended Tiffany to multiple friends after our wedding. Just beware - even though an anniversary cake is promised during your tasting, don't expect to get it.
