This is the flautas. Man they came out looking really good and tastes just the same.

Found a good hole in the wall. Nice little place with BIG flavors. But don't blink cuz you'll miss it. Service is good the food there's just no way to explain it it has a whole lot of flavor and very authentic.

I heard so many good things about the place. Finally, I had time to try it out. The place is cozy and well cleaned. They served chips and salsa which was on par. I ordered a house frozen margarita and it was pleasantly good. They provided a menu and what was on the steam table. They said I can get two meats with rice, beans and tortillas. Everything was amazingly good especially the mole. I would suggest to try it out and see what you think for yourself.

Small and cozy restaurant. Not many people come here but it's nice. Food was really good. The tomatillo salsa for the enchiladas was a little spicy but i loved. It was a lil pricey like $12 a plate. Probably wouldn't come back but it was decent.

DELICIOUS! I can't speak highly enough. The food was incredible and the service was great. We had both the corn and flour tortillas and they were to die for. I will definitely be back!

Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. All homemade made from scratch food with lots of love. Cherry on top was fresh homemade off the grill corn and flour tortillas.

    Pork with green Chile

Not good unfortunately- the tortillas were hard and not tasty. The pork meat tasted strong tasting -like not cleaned- not worth the hype

Service is always amazing and food soooo good!!

Amazing food! The street tacos are arguably the best I've had in the houston area. Menudo is perfect! Excited to try more from here! Friendly staff and owner!

Fresh hot home chips and salsa

First time coming with my family for brunch/lunch and boy they didn't disappoint! Staff was friendly and very attentive and the food was home made and delicious! When we were seated they brought out the chips and salsa and the chips were homemade right out the fryer! Very delicious and crunchy. My daughter had the pancakes and bacon and it was made to order, very very good! I had the carne potatoes asada and the meat was so tender it melts in ur mouth. The side of beans and rice were also very flavorful my baby ended up eating all my rice and beans. My dad had the ribs with rice and beans and he ate every last piece! This place is a hidden gem I wish I knew about sooner! Can't wait to go back and try the menudo and mole!

Best picadillo I've ever had. The carne guisada and asado de puerco were also amazing. So much flavor I didn't even put any salsa on it!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

It was my first time trying out Tex mex style. It was so busy on a Saturday evening. The chips that were given to each table was incredibly warm and the sauces paired so well. Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.

We ordered the breakfast burrito and the duck carnitas. We added barbacoa to the burrito, and it was honestly the definition of comfort food. It was EXTREMELY greasy though, so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. If I had been home alone... I probably would've just shoved the whole thing in my mouth. I couldn't not order the duck carnitas. It came on a sope, which is basically my definition of the perfect Mexican brunch. It was really yummy, and I especially loved the salsa that came with it. My only real critique is that the portions felt a little on the smaller side. Either bump them up a bit or add a small side, because I definitely could've eaten a little more.
