The food is still good, service is usually good. I think the house margaritas are as good as you can expect for a place like this. My only complaint is that when I ask for a margarita with salt, it comes with very little salt on the rim. So if you like your salt, be sure to tell them not to skimp on the salt when you place your order. read more

What a friendly and clean establishment! The food is fresh authentic and comes out piping hot. We usually sit at the bar and have great service from any of the staff. They all pitch in whether they are waiting on tables or bar staff. I think we are sitting for 1-2 minutes and they already bring the fresh chips and yummy salsa. Ok so we do Mexican every where! My husband said the beef and bean burrito is the "perfect " best he has ever had, and believe me we have had all over the country! I don't know what the app was we had but it was a recommendation of our barman and it was perfect! And filling! Bartender is wonderful sociable and fun, all the food was great! Popped in to what we thought was a cute and convenient location... great margarita, but wow was the food disappointing. My veggie enchilada was filled with frozen mush broccoli and carrot - two veggies that don't belong in Mexican food even if fresh. The rice and beans to either side were utterly flavorless. My husband ate his chicken quesadilla but this was also flavorless. We sat at the bar on a quiet day and the bartender's only words to us were "do you want a box?" Um no, thanks. read more

This place was a very pleasant surprise and experience. I'm on vacation from California where Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen. When my Dad said he wanted to take me to a Mexican place for dinner I was a bit skeptical. I was very, very happy that my skepticism was detached! This is the real deal! The staff was very welcoming and amiable. The service was outstanding. And the food! WOW! Phenomenal! And, as a chef, im very jaded and judgmental when dining out. Great food, margaritas were perfect (ultimate margarita is the way to go), service was there when you needed them but not hovering over you like a helicopter parent, and the atmosphere is just right, plenty of parking, etc! The restaurant does get crowded sometimes and it can be a bit warm in there --but that certainly hasn't deterred this patron! Nothing special here, stopped in with a friend because it's a good location for us both but the food was not great. The service was probably the worst part of the experience. I'm not sure if the dining room closes earlier then the bar but the servers were seated and eating (I get they need to eat too that's totally fine) so I kept looking at our server hinting like maybe we could get the check and you can wrap things up here- he wasn't picking up on it so we say waiting for the check for 25mins... We only get chips and salsa (good but definitely not homemade tortilla chips which saddens me) and nachos. The nachos were loaded down to the point where the chips were getting soggy? I mean they tasted fine but who wants soggy chips? We had a margarita and sangria that were good, prices were really reasonable overall just really blah. read more
