Excellent tacos with a pleasing and satisfying bite. The soft tortilla around the hardshell makes it easier to eat. I tried the Heisenberg- blue sour cream sauce gave it a nice touch - be careful not to spill on clothing it will stain.

This place is amazing. I could eat a hot Cheeto burrito everyday! Made fresh to order and for a dead mall they always seem to be busy

I got the sweet chili taco and not only is it packed with flavor, but one taco was huge and satisfying.

I tried everything on the menu nonetheless, because, well, I have a voracious appetite, and they did seem appetizing. On the menu (and my thoughts) - Chorizo and Potato = this one has great potential, the cheese, lettuce, and sauce were all great compliments to the star. Problem is, it kind of forgot to shine. It felt more like potato (with specks of chorizo). I could definitely find it, there was just very little. - Braised Beef = the good here is that they certainly did not skimp on the meat! The taco was absolutely loaded with it. Touch of cabbage was very nice, and the salsa verde added a mild, pleasant heat. My grumble with this is the meat itself, though plentiful, I would have liked it to be a little more flavorful; a little more seasoning would have done wonders. Finally, from an execution standpoint, it would be nice if when they pile on the beef they try to drain it from some water, as the taco got very wet. Also; strangely enough, a little less meat would better allow the cabbage and salsa to come through. - Chicken Lime = this was my favorite taco of the night. It hit all the right notes, and did not make my gripe sheet! Chicken was plentiful and the marinade they use if mild yet flavorful. Other toppings were great too! There was guacamole, pico, and some cabbage. All adding some crunch, freshness, a little acidity, and well, guacamole is always good! Now; some general observations: No matter the filling, or proportions therein, tacos were absolutely loaded! These should be eaten with utensils. You can technically eat them by hand... only expect a mess and half the inners to fall out. With tacos, I personally prefer to be able to eat them by hand, but, this is a minor grievance (if I can call it that). Then there's the question of prices. A little bit of sticker shock when I found out $7 gets you only one taco. Definitely towards the more expensive side. The service was nice and wicked fast!

Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative. Caramelized onions with a hint of sweetness. Partly-melted American cheese. Griddled marble rye with unnoticeable butter. Not perfection, but an enjoyable mix of flavors and textures. -- Fries (with the patty melt): Thin, crunchy shoestrings, aggressively salted, in assorted lengths. -- Quinoa Bowl: Bright flavors, good textures, per my wife. -- Ginger Soda: Made in house, string Ginger flavors, not too much sugar. Very good, though at $7, it's gotta be something you're certain you want. Solid experience. Hard to get a full picture without trying more things, but good enough to try more. And many good options for vegetarian dishes and mocktails.

We first wandered in on a cold, rainy afternoon and were immediately charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and everywhere we looked, steaming plates of comfort food were making their way to happy diners. The cod Reuben with sweet potato fries was outstanding, and the clam chowder was exceptional. In fact, after trying chowder at six different places during our trip, my husband and I both agreed this was our favorite by far. The shepherd's pie looked incredible as it passed our table, but we'll have to save that for next time. The only real downside is the limited parking, but it's a small trade-off for such a wonderful spot. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem!

Unfortunately, we left pretty confused about where the 4.5 stars are coming from. We were seated quickly, and the staff was genuinely very nice and welcoming. We had a booth, although it was oddly high and uncomfortable for me at 5'3" because my feet could barely reach the ledge. Service was pleasant, but after we ordered, no one really checked in on us. Our table tried quite a bit: the Reuben, classic New England cod, another cod and clam dish, clam chowder, and a pretzel. The clam chowder was probably the highlight. It had good flavor, although I would have loved more actual clams. The wine was mediocre. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was about a 5/10 for us. Nothing was terrible, but most of it was surprisingly bland and just not memorable. My cod and clam dish was especially disappointing. It came with four very large clams, but one was completely closed and should never have made it onto the plate. The cod, potatoes, and other ingredients were sitting in a pool of cream sauce, yet somehow the dish still tasted underseasoned. It felt more like something I could have steamed and put together myself at home for a simple, healthy weeknight dinner rather than something I'd be excited to order at a restaurant. Maybe we caught the kitchen on an off day, because the consistently high ratings made us expect much more. We specifically chose this place based on those reviews instead of going somewhere with a view and slightly lower ratings. In the end, we got neither the view nor particularly good food, which was disappointing. The kind staff and clam chowder were the bright spots, but based on our meal, I personally wouldn't rate the overall experience anywhere near 4.5 stars.
