March 7, 2026 Jefes Review…read more Absolutely Amazingly Awesome! It was my first time at Jefes in Plymouth. I went to sing karaoke at the open mic night with ROCKCOVERY and decided to have dinner. I had the pleasure of meeting Jefes owner Mike. He gladly took my order. He was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional. His presence gave off an energetic positive vibe. The energy of the restaurant was extremely positive and upbeat. I ordered the Jefes Burrito with chicken, a side of slices of avacado and a side of hot sauce. It was Absolutely Awesome. I want to say thank you to all the staff at Jefes: A Betta Bar & Grille for a wonderful evening that was filled with amazing food, the best service, an energy filled with love, laughter, hugs, great music and the coolest friends. A special shout out to Mike Grant Jr and James Fennell. Thank you!

Two of us split a half order and still brought half of it home. We both enjoyed our tacos and the plantains were delicious. We will absolutely be back and recommend the spot if you're in the area or if you want really good nachos. The server was great and food was cooked fast and fresh. The ambiance was nice, cool and a little darker, but it fit the theme.

Edwardo hand presses the taco dough into a soft yet crispy taco shell which can withstand the crazy amount of taco filling they pile on. Nikki is bubbly, personable and super friendly. They seem to make an excellent team! So far I have had their tequila lime chicken, bomb, the jerk chicken, also bomb and my personal favorite the chorizo potato taco. Fresh cabbage, soft smooth queso fresco cheese I'm guessing is on top, with picked red onions and an amazing sauce drizzled on top makes these deliciously authentic tacos more modern. All in all, delicious authentic tacos with a new age touch. Absolutely delectable, I HIGHLY recommend Los Jefes next level eats!! Although I have only had their tacos, I'm sure anything and everything they make is worth traveling for.

We got basic stuff; nachos with cheese - tasted VERY stale. We also got a kids cheese quesadilla with fries and while we did get that, it was just that. No salsa, no sour cream, nothing (possible it was suppose to be requested, not sure). It was just tossed into a container. The one thing that didn't disappoint was the fried cheesecake! Delicious. Again - possibly better in person! I hope.

They start you off with chips which are perfectly salted, and some salsa which is authentic and has a kick. We had carne asada( the tortillas were delicious, you could eat them on their own!), cheese enchiladas, and pork burrito(which had pineapple in it to give it a fresh flavor). Everyone devoured their meals. We also enjoyed some flavored margaritas which one friend said "I think this may be the best margarita I've ever had" so don't skip the drinks! Dessert was tres leches, they had a different version than what I'm used to, it had some chocolate drizzle and a cinnamon drizzle, which was good but the cake itself is perfect as is.

Nicely appointed especially decorated for Halloween a fun environment…read more Drinks were good beers fresh and a cocktail satisfying. Steak and cheese egg rolls tasty but likely frozen out of the vendor box and into the fryalator. Server was professional and truthful when I asked about the short rib hash with eggs and hollandaise, she described it as a large portion, Shoukd have taken the cue and ordered something else. Served out of the oven in a cast iron skillet handle wrapped in a napkin. Way too many potato's some good sweet and hot pepper flavors with sparingly bits of short rib distributed throughout the mixture. Eggs were cooked a little hard and hollandaise from Knorr Swiss, ok but not great. Would not order again. Burgers were the choice of my company. They looked good and both confirmed tasty. I like that they use a hot brand to mark the top burger roll with the Three V branding. Don't envision returning in the near future but wouldn't be opposed either.

Brisket patty, neither thick nor thin, with a soft grind, cooked showing pink (I asked for medium rare if possible). Bacon-onion-jalapeño jam with some zip and bacon saltiness and bendy texture. Caramelized onions with a hint of sweetness. Partly-melted American cheese. Griddled marble rye with unnoticeable butter. We first wandered in on a cold, rainy afternoon and were immediately charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and everywhere we looked, steaming plates of comfort food were making their way to happy diners. The cod Reuben with sweet potato fries was outstanding, and the clam chowder was exceptional. In fact, after trying chowder at six different places during our trip, my husband and I both agreed this was our favorite by far. The shepherd's pie looked incredible as it passed our table, but we'll have to save that for next time. The only real downside is the limited parking, but it's a small trade-off for such a wonderful spot. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem!

We chose this restaurant largely because of its 4.5-star rating, even passing up a few waterfront…read morerestaurants with beautiful views but slightly lower ratings. Unfortunately, we left pretty confused about where the 4.5 stars are coming from. We were seated quickly, and the staff was genuinely very nice and welcoming. We had a booth, although it was oddly high and uncomfortable for me at 5'3" because my feet could barely reach the ledge. Service was pleasant, but after we ordered, no one really checked in on us. Our table tried quite a bit: the Reuben, classic New England cod, another cod and clam dish, clam chowder, and a pretzel. The clam chowder was probably the highlight. It had good flavor, although I would have loved more actual clams. The wine was mediocre. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was about a 5/10 for us. Nothing was terrible, but most of it was surprisingly bland and just not memorable. My cod and clam dish was especially disappointing. It came with four very large clams, but one was completely closed and should never have made it onto the plate. The cod, potatoes, and other ingredients were sitting in a pool of cream sauce, yet somehow the dish still tasted underseasoned. It felt more like something I could have steamed and put together myself at home for a simple, healthy weeknight dinner rather than something I'd be excited to order at a restaurant. Maybe we caught the kitchen on an off day, because the consistently high ratings made us expect much more. We specifically chose this place based on those reviews instead of going somewhere with a view and slightly lower ratings. In the end, we got neither the view nor particularly good food, which was disappointing. The kind staff and clam chowder were the bright spots, but based on our meal, I personally wouldn't rate the overall experience anywhere near 4.5 stars.
