Pico and Guac, both excellent flavor, fresh and well made. $12. Good for one or two people.
Jo H.

First visit: We called around 4 on a Saturday and were able to reserve a table for 4 at 5:30. There are tables outside in the front and inside, but if you can, ask for the tented area upstairs. It is charming and beautifully done. Updated after 2 additional visits: FOOD: 2 1/2 stars. The food is inventive and tasty, but didn't hit the 5 star category for 2 reasons. We got guacamole and pico for the table. Both were made well, but the portions were not as generous as we would have liked for $12. The calamari taco and the pork cutlet were both overcooked. The tempura fried avocado was fantastic. The avocado bowl is pretty good. The first time I had it, I requested their cilantro lime dressing as an added side, and it made the dish perfect. However, it does not come with that dish, and when I requested it on a subsequent visit it was clear the chef did not want to add it and told our server they were out of the ingredients to make it. Too bad, as that is what really made that bowl special. BAR: Generous wine pours and unique, tasty drinks. The cocktails are excellent, average size for a craft cocktail, $12. Ben, the bartender, has a gift for mixing the right ingredients and I love when that also means they are not stingy on the liquor. SERVICE: Good. Amy was very attentive, pleasant and knew the menu well. She appeared at just the right times and never hovered. Everyone we encountered had a warm, friendly greeting. Kristen was our server on a return visit and was also very friendly. From the time you enter to the time you leave, everyone there is super friendly and I can tell they are smiling, even through their masks :) ATMOSPHERE: Our first visit we sat in the outside tent which is well done! Probably the best restaurant tent we have been in. They really did a nice job making the space feel warm, classy and comfortable. Our most recent visit (Sept 10) we sat inside, near the bar. The bartender(s) on the evening of Sept 10th were the noisiest bartenders I have encountered. They would toss each empty glass bottle they emptied into the bin, which already contained glass. At first it sounded like someone had dropped a bunch of dishes, however, after the 3rd time it happened in a short timeframe, I turned around to see the actual reason for the crashing noise. I don't understand how they could not have known this was a very disruptive noise for patrons. That, coupled with the woman in the table next to ours having a shouting conversation with one of the bartenders, left us leaving very annoyed. On this visit, it really seemed that the staff was oblivious to what makes a nice environment for patrons. So disappointing. If you don't have an app that reads barcodes, you might want to install one before you arrive. There is a little barcode in a cute frame on each table for you to snap a photo of. After a few seconds, you will be directed to an online menu. I'd recommend also having hand sanitizer with you, as I am sure that little piece gets passed around the table. If you prefer low tech, they have the menu on a big chalkboard on the fence just outside the tent upstairs. I wish there was a better spot for it to hang. I felt I was infringing on other diners as from where we were sitting, the menu was partially blocked. The only way to read it was to go over there and that was a bit awkward. With our recent 2 visits to Su Casa not hitting the mark, we will look for other places to eat in and around Plymouth.

I was in Su Casa a couple of months ago and am just finishing up a draft review I started on my visit. Su Casa is right on the main strip in downtown Plymouth. We took advantage of some nice outdoor seating on a beautiful Fall afternoon the day we ate here. On our visit, we received very attentive service from the friendly wait staff. I ordered some superb scallops for my meal. Wow, super good. I used to live in Mass and now live in Florida. I always forget how awesome the scallops are in the Northeast. These were prepared perfectly. Grilled just the right way with a spice/rub that was on point. I tried to order a drink off the menu that I think they need to add, I was in on a Saturday at lunch and it's a Mexican joint ...so I asked if they could prepare me a Bloody Maria ... well the answer was no. There was no tomato juice or spicy tomato juice apparently. As a fan of tequila and Bloody Marias, I suggest they add them! All in all, great visit and a good time. I would be happy to eat here again.

Stopped here for some Alfresco dining on a Tuesday. Sat outside and enjoyed great music, downtown Plymouth good service and Great Tacos. Look forward to going back. Taco's had wonderful soft flour tortillas. Just the right size. Highly recommend.

We love Mexican food and this place did NOT disappoint! Phenomenal food, drinks and service! My husband no joke ordered 7 tacos and said "this is what dreams are made of." This is not a spot you can miss. The street corn is unreal and they have a bunch of drink and app specials one of whIch was a scallop and shrimp corn fritter...it was delicious! We cannot recommend this place enough. At this time, they only have outdoor seating so plan accordingly. Also our server was Maggie she was super knowledgeable and very attentive. 5 stars!

Is this take out only at this time?

I've been there. I'm not sure what the indoor dining situation is, but they set up a tent out back for al fresco dining. It was very nice.

I reached out to them months ago to explore using them for the welcome party for my wedding. After dozens of calls, emails, instagram messages AND even going IN-PERSON to speak to someone, their event organizer never responded. We followed up numerous times and not once, did we get a formal follow-up. It look messages on 3 different social media channels for me to finally get an answer. When we did, the organizer ghosted us AGAIN! When I followed up with her (now having her phone number) we set a date to call. She could not figure out how to send me the event details, she did not have very many answers to our questions - we got a ton of, "I need to ask the owner". She promised to give us an update to our questions, and NOTHING. The kicker is that she even ignored my follow up text asking for an update. She ended up texting me accidentally - the text was to her coworker asking them if they can let her inside because she was locked out!! So incredibly unprofessional, they do not seem to care for our business even though we were so excited to potentially have our event there. Would not recommend - try back maybe in a couple years when they can get better customer service and more organized.

The restaurant is decorated well, seems clean, and is dark with big windows on two of the walls. Server was okay. He seemed to have a lot of tables, but we were able to get his attention whenever needed. The manager seemed to be floating around the restaurant all night. He checked on us truly as we took our first bite of the first appetizer, then not again. We split the 2 for $50 weeknight special, which was a good deal. The elote dip was okay. It came out luke warm and honestly tasted like a can of creamed corn. We both agreed that warmer and with a little kick/spice would have been better. I can't remember what the second app was, but it was a fried beef and potato appetizer. It was very tasty, but very oily. We were wiping our hands between each bite. The Arroz Chaufa was very tasty and a good size. Unfortunately the plantains that came with it were extremely salty. Cocktails I tried the En Claro and Maldiablo. The En Claro was okay, I expected it to be sweeter than it ended up being. Maldiablo was very tasty and I would drink again. My husband got the sangria that had not been mixed prior to serving, so the first sip was all brandy and otherwise just okay. Overall the food was good but the drink prices seemed steep. $50 for two people to eat was a good price, but we spent just as much in 3 drinks and really only truly enjoyed one of the three.

The pic isn't doing it justice. Also, they were all made pretty strong haha. The menu was also great for splitting purposes. We ordered the nachos for the table with guac on the side. It felt like the nachos only came with a handful of chips (keep in mind 3 of us were splitting it) but we ended up using the chips we got from the boat of chips & salsa so that was no problem for us. For a meal we got the pork tacos which comes with 3 tacos so we split that as well and each had one. Sooo good. I'd definitely reorder those next time. We couldn't leave without dessert so we got the espresso churros and they were SO good. Another menu item that came as 3 which was perfect for us to split evenly. This place is so cute!! It was busy and we got sat at the bar looking right into the kitchen/drink making area. This did not help our chances of trying to get anyone's attention. We sat for over 45 minutes after ordering two omelettes and toast before our food finally came out. We were told multiple times that our order was next but then we'd see multiple orders leave...just not ours. We're pretty confident it just didn't get put in. We also went through our coffee and mimosa and had to flag two different people down to get water ... we were never offered refills.

By the way, I always say "if a place is crowded, that's a good sign." It was a good sign, and due to the wait, it was slow as well. It does appear, that in the summer months, outdoor seating might be available too. I had a solid meal with the Irish Benedict which was very good and cooked to perfection. Our server(s) (team effort) were friendly and solid. My pancake connoisseur was a tad put off by the wait but quickly realized that it was worth it. She pounded down the fluffy cakes like she was getting paid to do so. Carmen's pancakes quickly rose up to the number two spot on her rankings and she can't wait to come back. Maybe someday I'll try one of their delicious looking Bloody Mary's (bottoms up!).

Fresh cabbage, soft smooth queso fresco cheese I'm guessing is on top, with picked red onions and an amazing sauce drizzled on top makes these deliciously authentic tacos more modern. All in all, delicious authentic tacos with a new age touch. Absolutely delectable, I HIGHLY recommend Los Jefes next level eats!! I tried everything on the menu nonetheless, because, well, I have a voracious appetite, and they did seem appetizing. On the menu (and my thoughts) - Chorizo and Potato = this one has great potential, the cheese, lettuce, and sauce were all great compliments to the star. Problem is, it kind of forgot to shine. It felt more like potato (with specks of chorizo). I could definitely find it, there was just very little. - Braised Beef = the good here is that they certainly did not skimp on the meat! The taco was absolutely loaded with it. Touch of cabbage was very nice, and the salsa verde added a mild, pleasant heat. My grumble with this is the meat itself, though plentiful, I would have liked it to be a little more flavorful; a little more seasoning would have done wonders. Finally, from an execution standpoint, it would be nice if when they pile on the beef they try to drain it from some water, as the taco got very wet. Also; strangely enough, a little less meat would better allow the cabbage and salsa to come through. - Chicken Lime = this was my favorite taco of the night. It hit all the right notes, and did not make my gripe sheet! Chicken was plentiful and the marinade they use if mild yet flavorful. Other toppings were great too! There was guacamole, pico, and some cabbage. All adding some crunch, freshness, a little acidity, and well, guacamole is always good! Now; some general observations: No matter the filling, or proportions therein, tacos were absolutely loaded! These should be eaten with utensils. You can technically eat them by hand... only expect a mess and half the inners to fall out. With tacos, I personally prefer to be able to eat them by hand, but, this is a minor grievance (if I can call it that). Then there's the question of prices. A little bit of sticker shock when I found out $7 gets you only one taco. Definitely towards the more expensive side. The service was nice and wicked fast!
