Overall good - 3.5 stars…read more I caught up with this food truck at the Tractor Supply spring garden event in Elk River. The food was good and the portions were generous. The refried beans in my burrito bowl were cold, which I didn't appreciate. But everything else was good. I like the variety of beverages too. (A lot of food trucks skimp on this.) I grabbed a Jarritos guava flavored soda. After I left, I wished I had tried the interesting Manzanita Sol apple flavored soda. I'll definitely grab one of those next time. This is a family run operation and everyone was very friendly. I always favor a family owned business versus a big corporate place. This isn't a food truck that I'd seek out. But it hits the spot if you're in the area and in the mood for some savory Mexican style food. And it's definitely a great choice if you're very hungry. -Maxx

She VERY rudely says "we don't have that, that was like 2 or 3 years ago ". OK, menu says you can swap out burger for chicken, i explained. Again, she says we don't have that. So I asked do you have chicken sandwich? Yes, she says... OK, I'll have that, grilled chicken, add buffalo sauce, add blue cheese. What for a side, she asks? Onion rings I said. Seriously, know your menu and how to get to the end result without being a complete B on the phone. Picked up food, gal who took the order saw us and ignored us, we paid and left. Sandwich was dry and unremarkable. Definitely not worth what I paid for , $22.94 for sandwich and onion rings, no tip because she was so rude. Complete rip off. Avoid.

I was super sad about this. We ordered food to go and most of it tasted like it was pre made and double cooked. The best thing was the cheese curds! They came with a prepackaged container of marinara. Entrees- Fish basket and chicken tenders baskets. I wouldn't get either again. The fish was super over cooked and almost looked like it was pre fried and froze before they refried. Overall, not impressed. I would possibly eat at the restaurant/ bar as it looked clean and maintained inside. Maybe this would be a better outcome? They did have a full bar and local brews.

I was questioning why it was a ghost town on a these beautiful summer mornings. The service is very mid. I ordered a Bloody Mary and pancakes, and the pancakes came out first. The service was overall really clunky and made it seem like maybe it was their first time serving. The second day I came back expecting to be able to order off the menu again, but I guess on Sundays they do a breakfast buffet only. Everything was ok -- filled the void -- but nothing to write home about. I still love the deck area they have, but must note it's a little odd, they have these huge tables with comfortable seating but the seating for smaller parties is a metal chair. An odd contrast, but since the place was empty we sat at a big table both times. A little awkward for a table of 2. Prices are reasonable, but service and food is mid.

They have all the regular options and I chose the two piece French toast with bacon. Their bacon was so good. Cooked perfectly, it was a bit thicker but not so thick that it so chewy. Pieces bit off cleanly and it had a rich flavor. French toast was equally delicious. I could taste a hint of egg in the bread, which was thicker than normal bread. So good. Staff was great. The other cool thing is they went all out on Halloween. Decorations galore. They had a skeleton family eating at a table. They had a hall or terror going to the restroom. They also had a miniature Halloween village where people added rocks with memorials of their loved ones as tombstones throughout the village. Very cool.

As a couple other reviews have mentioned, the cheesecake MAKES this place, and if you don't like cheesecake, well, I'd say don't bother going, but then you'd miss out on all the delicious FOOD and DRINKS they have to offer! I'm personally fond of the Reuben, and one other sandwich I can't think of the name of, but it's soaked in brandy or something... ‍ And I don't drink alcohol, or I'd have something to say about THAT, but I do know they have a variety of libations on tap, if that's what you're into. personally, I go for the non-alcoholic Shirley Temple, which is served with a and a ! The seating is pretty limited as they only have a handful of picnic tables so be prepared with outdoor seats you can bring along. The service was pleasant and did not take very long at all after ordering even on a holiday weekend. Tip.....if you get the blueberry shake get a spoon with the straw as the blueberries get stuck in a regular straw. The crunch cone was the perfect way to end this meal out.
