My very first Huarache. That's not pronounced Orache, not Arache but Wa-rache. So says the dude I ordered from. It's an oval sope, about 1 1/2x bigger. And pretty awesome with al pastor. The carne asada was fine but the al pastor was much better. My niece kept interrupting with comments like, "I love Mexicans", "These things are just amazing", "My dear, sweet uncle. I wish I was a fat as you so I could cram another half dozen of these awesome tacos down my throat'. Well maybe I invented that one but they were pretty terrific. Friendly service, VERY low key vibe. A cool, off the beaten path hole in the wall.

    Oregano chili mix

Best menudo in SFV and the birria is also delicious served with handmade tortillas. I've also have had there tacos de chicharron en chile also bomb jayamitla always comes thru on these items never disappoints! As for the rest of their menu haven't tried cuz I always go for my usual up top. Ps. Don't forget to ask for their oregano !

    Poor sanitary environment

This place has decent food and accepts credit Cards (which is a plus). They made handmade tortillas (which is always a plus ). Down size it's really small (not good for kids). No bathrooms (poor sanitation). The workers DONT NOT wash their hands (the lady who took my money, cooked my order) which our washing her hands. Not sure how fresh their hands are.

Been here two times in the last month. So far I've only tried the tacos and they were delicious. Be sure you have CASH on you.

Not only is the staff nice and welcoming, the food is great! Their chile verde sauce is the best.

The menu features various dishes, including cheeseburger, DRAGON sushi, rib eye, and even tacos de pescado, ensuring everyone finds something enjoyable to eat. The quality of the dishes is acceptable: neither very tasty nor very unappetizing. As far as prices go, I would say they were reasonable considering the amount of food provided. However, one downside of this restaurant worth pointing out is that portions here are relatively small. Therefore, if you come here with your whole family, better make sure you're not too hungry since the portions won't be sufficient to feed everyone. To sum up, I think this is a great option if you are looking for a clean place where you can have a nice lunch or dinner and try different dishes. The service was somewhat slow. Even though the restaurant wasn't crowded, it did take some time to get seated. Moreover once we had placed our order it again took time for the food to arrive. However the food was still fresh.

Just happened to drop in on a Thursday Happy Hour so Sushi Rolls were 50% off. It was not busy being the early middle part of rush hour on the road. Was greeted and seated quick. The whole menu looks so exciting though the prices are a bit high, made it hard to decide what to try. I opted to try sushi this time around since I was solo. Rolls were good portioned not skimpy but I would opt for lighter rice if possible if planning to eat plenty. Sister Sister Roll came first. Sauce or onions or both combined made a strong bitter taste but good. The Albacore from top tasted good alone while the roll itself was good. Very often when I try latino fusion sushi the rice gets too sweetened or not at all. The rice tasted not sweetened but seasoned enough and still slightly warm with good texture. I believe they may have used some proper sushi rice here rather than just any rice. Then came the Agua Chile and Mango Habanero Roll. All three rolls came well garnished accordingly, maybe even heavy. Agua Chile had a fresh tart taste. Mango Roll was strong with the sweetness as good mango should. Server was frequent in checking on me, refilled my water before I even had to ask. No appetite for dessert this time around as I was on an empty stomach. The room had Latino music playing and multiple TVs. Elegant Decor without feeling too upscale. Definitely come with an appetite and another person. More to come after I try some entrees and cocktails.

Anybody Hating on a beautiful family owned business shows their own insecurity or bitterness…read more From the first bite of their chilaquiles, it's clear why this place gets serious love: the tortilla strips are fresh and crispy, drenched in just the right amount of salsa, with queso, crema, cilantro, and onions delicately layered on top -- a harmony of textures and flavors that hits deep. The version with carne asada and scrambled eggs stands out: the savory meat adds richness, the eggs give a cozy, hearty feel, and the heat-level walks that perfect line between bold and manageable. The portion is generous but never sloppy: everything stays crisp where it should, saucy where it needs to be, and balanced so you don't get that soggy tortilla mush some chilaquiles fall into. On top of that, reviewers frequently praise the staff as "super friendly" and note that this spot is a go-to for Sunday breakfast -- a reliable place to get that hangover-curing, belly-warming Mexican comfort food.

Unfortunately Chilakiles like many places with great reviews are based on a lack of experiences and most reviews are based on emotionalism! I really wanted to like this place and share the great experience with the world but all I took away was a supersized disappointment with a side of wasted money. We ordered two orders of Chilaquiles with the red and green sauce, one with carne asada and the other with two eggs over medium. We were the only ones in line and that was a bit concerning but it was Friday at 10:30 am. The orders came out quickly and we retreated to our car for some intimate car dining. It felt like Xmas as we opened up our heavy container filled to the brim with anticipation! I started on the green zone and felt the kick of the spice and concluded that this spice was a bit over the top. Typically spicy isn't an issue as long as the flavor holds up and keeps me digging in. However, the spice was overwhelming and the sour taste of the tomatillo in the sauce kept sinking my experience deeper and deeper into the abyss! I decided to move onto the red sauce and it was better but just barely better. All I kept thinking was how disappointing these Chilaquiles were. I know that food like Art can be subjective but after a certain point the subjective opinion is just an opinion. Then you have to compare all chilaquiles to all the other chilaquiles that have graced your pallet. Los Chilakiles is full of disappointment and hype!

I told him we would be there a few minutes after 7:30 and that if they were about to close it was fine, we could order somewhere else. The guy insisted and was very nice and let me place an order with them. I got a wet burrito de asada with green sauce and it was so good! Their green sauce was spicy and had a nice brightness to it. I would definitely order this again, especially with the amazing customer service. We also got a chicken burrito and I think they use the fajita chicken to make it so there were green bell peppers in it, which was interesting.
