Receipt for 3 ppl. Careful with prices, they're not shown on menu.

Really disappointed with our experience here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had no AC and it was extremely hot the entire time, which made it uncomfortable to even enjoy the meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For a bill close to $200 for only 3 people, we expected much better quality and service. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the arrachera meat in the chilaquiles. Everything else was pretty underwhelming. The Pulpo y Camarón Sayulitas plate was especially overpriced, overloaded with garlic, and not worth the price at all. Service also needs improvement. Our server barely checked on us, and at the end we had to get up and look for her ourselves just to ask for the check. Overall, not worth the price or the experience.

Food & drinks are wait too delicious, the staff I have to honest there's a few who ate allot more sweet and kinda than others. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great family friendly, a little bit of music playing on the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of my favorite places.

The parking lot is in back by the liquor store. It's a pretty open space. The presentation of the food was nice! The staff was nice also. We ordered the enchiladas trio, calamari & Botana Cielo Mar y Tierra. I liked the enchiladas which came with rice and beans. The calamari was so good and the green salsa that came with it. We weren't really a fan of the Botana Cielo Mar y Tierra. The shrimp was sooo tasty! The chicken had a snake texture or it was maybe Tyson chicken (iykyk) and the steak was cold. Happy hour starts at 3 PM-?

Haven't been here in awhile. This visit with family of 10 did not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a few tables full then filled up fast for Live Music[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We had no idea, so, what a treat! Our servers were so kind and attentive. Drinks and food were served within a timely manner. Everyone was happy with their meals and drinks were on point. We'll be back next time we're in town. EAT HERE!

We went to Sylmar to see the amazing Nethercutt Museum, they had a list of recommended restaurants and El Tarasco was on the list. So we tried it out and really enjoyed our experience. My son had the chicken tacos and I had the beef taquitos, both were delicious. I asked for hot sauce. Expecting either Cholula or Tapatio, I was surprised with some excellent homemade tomatillo, with the just the right spiciness. I also loved the decor and art, nice paintings and wooden crosses. Another thing regarding ambience, I would say the acoustics are on the medium loud side, but the music was not too loud. Service was also great, all servers were friendly and checked on us frequently. I think this will be our yearly routine, visit the Nethercutt and then have lunch at El Tarasco!

Ep tarascos is a very well themed and detailed restaurant with beautiful art and style to its ambience. The food is very well portioned with to be honest major over portions how ever the food is excellent and delicious. The only downside is the menu not showing prices with it not showing prices I definitely feel unaware of how much I'm going to spend. The service is always good and they always make sure you are having refills

The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and exactly where you want to be on a hot summer day. The seafood was incredibly fresh and refreshing. I ordered the campechana kora, and my husband had the Aguachiles, both were absolutely delicious and perfect for the heat. What really made the experience special was the staff. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming. My husband has been practicing his Spanish, and instead of making him feel self-conscious, they were incredibly encouraging and sweet with him. It made the whole meal feel even more authentic and enjoyable. Great food, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you forget you're just minutes from home. Parking was easy to find, which was a plus. The ambiance was casual, relaxed, and family-friendly. They have multiple TVs throughout the restaurant, and during my visit, they were showing a soccer game. I always like it when a restaurant broadcasts sporting events, even if it means the place sometimes gets very packed. I was really looking forward to trying their shrimp ceviche, but to my disappointment, they had run out by the time I arrived. I decided to go with my backup option instead: the camarones a la diabla. Camarones a la diabla is a dish consisting of shrimp cooked in a spicy red chile sauce. This restaurant also serves it with rice, toast, and a side of vegetables. As the name suggests, the shrimp are supposed to be spicy. As a spice enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for the best spicy dishes. The shrimp were cooked well, but they had a sweet taste. It almost seemed as if they had used ketchup in the sauce to tone down the heat. I'm honestly not a fan of mixing sweet with spicy, at least when it comes to protein. The vegetables that came with the dish were soggy and flavorless. The rice was okay but could have been better. The toast was pretty good, it was buttery, garlicky, and crispy. Overall, this dish wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best. The service during my visit was good. My server was attentive and helpful. He frequently stopped by to check if everything was okay. Overall, this experience didn't turn out exactly as I had expected, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. I might return one day to try their shrimp ceviche. Small place and only serving a very select few menu items during the week. Weekends is when there are more options / full menu. I got 2 pork tamales, 1 chicharron taco and 1 carnitas taco con todo. The carnitas by themself are decently cooked. The taco is served in a handmade tortilla that is super thick and dense. Im a fan of these style tortillas being a little more softer than this was. The taste of the masa is on point and great. The salsa that they equip in the taco is hot. Like almost habanero hot. Its almost unpleasant / inedible. The chicharron is just the skin and its smashed up into the salsa and pico de gallo that come with the tacos. Not much going on here and nothing great. Pork tamale was average. The size is on the smaller side or almost average. Carne to masa ratio is good. Masa taste is great. The meat and sauce is umami and deep but still your average flavors for red pork tamales.
