They are always amazing. The food has been good on some visits and absolutely terrible at other times. I know there is a new chef and a lot of new staff, so we are trying to be patient while everyone gets trained. I'm adding pics of the filet and ribeye we had right before Chef Chris' departure. Also, I would love to see some attention to the patio. It has amazing potential, and we absolutely love having dinner out there, but for a golf course and restaurant of this caliber, it could use some love. Updated outdoor furniture would be a great start!

The fajitas were nicely presented, and the meat was good, but the accompanying rice and beans were not very tasty. Come on dudes, where's the pride in the food? Where is the Mexican seasoning?? Where is the Mexican love??? I was extremely disappointed. I guess the appeal of the place is the alcohol. But as a traditionalist who loves good Mexican food, I give this place a 1 for the taste of the food. I didn't partake in alcohol since I was just driving through. The only redeeming grace of this place was the decor and ambiance. They get a 4 or a 5. So, if you factor in the 1 for service, the 1 for the food, and the 5 for decor, I give them 3 stars. I specifically asked for Fernando to serve me (I saw he was there)...speaks perfect English and always gets my order right. I was denied his service because it was close to closing time (30-minutes) - I arrived at 9:30. I asked for a half order of "perfect chicken" and a guacamole salad. She (the other server) told me that it would be a $4 upcharge. "It's just a dollop of guac" she said. I showed her on the menu where it came with the Pollo Mexicano (close enough). She just shrugged her shoulders. So I decided not to get it...it would've been wrong anyway. I got the bill for $10, the menu says 1/2 order is $9...so I made her go get a menu and show her. Second time this has happened. Later Fernando asked me to pre-pay my bill to close out the register. Then another server came by and asked to take my plate away...I said "I'm not quite finished" (never asked if I wanted a to go box) she pulled out her iPhone and showed me that it was 10:01. I paid...I left my military discount card on the plate under broccoli and cheese sauce. 15% off isn't worth being treated like shit!
