Unfortunately, the meat in nearly every taco was very dry. The steak, al pastor, lengua and the other meats were chewier and much less flavorful than what I would normally expect from a place like this. I was there with a colleague for lunch, and he had the same experience with his tacos, so it wasn't limited to my order. I'm not sure whether we caught them on an off day, but it was disappointing because so many other parts of the experience were promising. The meat just didn't deliver.

Although I was born in the United States, my family heritage is Peruvian, so I was excited to see Lomo Saltado on the menu. To my surprise, the person who greeted me was also from Peru and assured me they would make me a delicious plate to go--and they absolutely delivered. The Lomo Saltado was flavorful, well-prepared, and reminded me of the authentic flavors I grew up enjoying. No weird overdone "trendy taco spot" energy, no tiny overpriced tacos pretending to be an experience. There was a very good amount of chips in the bag, more than I could eat, and I'm no lightweight. But the pico was enough for about four chips. I've taken a picture of it as well as a picture of inside the bag, really hard to tell how many chips are in it, but it was a real good amount. I had some jar salsa at home so I had to use that.
