I've been trying to find the best burrito spot and drove by this place on my way home so I thought I would stop by. I ordered 2 carne asada super burritos and they were just basic. The meat was cold and fatty. I don't know if there was any cheese but I didn't see any. Also was kinda heavy on the rice I most likely don't see myself coming back here. Parking lot was small but I didn't find parking when driving through. If I didn't, I was going to stop somewhere else. So many Mexican places it's hard to choose just one. Cashiers are always very welcoming, place is always very clean, lots of options to pick from. My favorite are the tacos de al pastor and asada. The chips and salsa also very good and spicy. Overall great service. read more

This place is solid. I ordered the regular burrito and my boyfriend ordered the steak dish. I enjoyed both dishes a lot and I particularly liked my boyfriends steak dish with the warm tortillas. The dishes are filling, fresh and flavorful. I would say to be super careful in this plaza. It's not safe. Bring your valuables with you and try to come with another person. It's been a while since I went here. This might have been the place that made me realize Taco Bell is not Mexican food. This place is also where I fell in love with Horchata. It's been so many years, but the experience is still fresh in my mind. I remember being intimidated by the authenticity of the place as soon as I walked in. The ambiance was new to me at the time. Nothing like Taco Bell. The loud banda music was playing from the jukebox. The waitresses were dressed in what I believe are traditional Mexican clothing. They greeted me in Spanish in which I froze followed by a short "Uhhh", that seemed like forever. I ordered an horchata which was recommended by my Mexican friend who was with me at the time. If you need a taco or burrito, you can get one here. Is it the best taco or burrito I've had? No, sorry. But it's fine. It will do the trick if you have a craving and have cash (it's cash only). The service is friendly and the decor is homey. The surrounding strip mall, however, dirty and sketchy. I've tried the asada, al pastor, and carnitas. I guess the asada is the best, though there were some tough bits in there. Super burrito seems a bit expensive compared to other places, tacos are comparable to other places. Honestly this is great & affordable. I love burritos burritos are great. What's really great is how this burrito turned out, I ordered it without beans & stuff and they got everything perfectly. This place is less than satisfying. I ordered one burrito majado and one super burrito. Both with carne with no rice. At glance the burrito mojado looked delicious and it smelled good. That's where it ended. The meat they use is very cheap, and over seasoned. I like spicy food but the red salsa that was smothered on my burrito was overly spicy. Even the green salsa was to overpowering for green salsa according to my wife. The service was good although. The lady who took my order was kind. Thank you for that. I just moved by here and was looking for a new place to eat. In search of a shrimp burrito, normally most mex restaurants don't usually carry it, so I expected them to say no... But then they asked me if I wanted it "al mojo de ajo" (garlic shrimp) or "a la diabla" (spicy sauce)??? What!!! I even get options... Ok ok so I chose garlic :) it was SO delicious!!! Just moved to the neighborhood. We haven't had a chance to try everything here, but their tacos de pastor are absolutely phenominal. I would also recommend trying their nachos de papas (nacho fries). The food (burrito con carne asada) was just ok. Nothing to write home about. There was one little bone in my burrito and a few grisly pieces of unappetizing meat. This is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those delicious "tongue" tacos, and asada, or grilled chicken. I feel hungry now. I've been a loyal customer for about 10 years already. They used to have another restaurant located by Story rd but they closed, so we ended up following them to Julian St. I gotta say the staff is always friendly to us. One of their waitress (Aracely) is such a lovely person, and always making sure customers are happy. Their food is so good, Im in love with those new "Enchiladas Michoacanas".. They're the BOMB! The cooks are super nice as well. The only thing about this place is that they don't sell beer or any other alcoholic beverages and the place is a little bit small. I got the nachos with pastor. the pieces of pastor were good not great and the pieced were very large... drywall in the side wall is also patched properly but not even painted.... it's not designed to be an updacale place but don't y I u think that if you take the time to patch a whole in the drywall that maybe, just maybe you could find the time or money to paint it? I used to eat here on a weekly basis before I changed jobs. They have very good burritos, I'm talking authentic burritos not those mini ones you see at Taco Bell. The food is here pretty good, decently priced and they have a drive-thru. They're open late too during weekends for the club folks. I highly recommend their green sauce. read more
