Finding the menu and pricing appealing brought us the first time, and from that experience, we returned! Both times we entered the vibrant atmosphere (along Drury St), the greeter seated our party of four fairly quickly. Our table, situated economically close to another table for four, was wiped down and our server quickly took our order. Both nights involved tacos and more tacos, as well as adult beverages. The tacos are the traditional street-size, and two are included with each choice. Overall favorite? The Quesabirria: filled with moist, seasoned lamb on a crispy corn tortilla. Mouth-watering on its own, but the consommé stole the show. Rich flavor with crispy tortilla...yum-my! The steak tacos took second place, only because the Quesabirria took first! Again, a tender and flavorful selection. I also enjoyed the Al pastor. The Chorizo and the Fish tacos were okay by comparison. For beverages, the Paloma, Tempranillo, and MacIvors Cider hit the spot for those drinking adult beverages. The service was top notch. Friendly, helpful, and quick, and our server remembered us on the second night! I also noticed that each employee worked multiple jobs - seating, cleaning, serving the food and beverages, and finalizing payment. Masa seems to have an efficient system and dedicated employees who enjoy working there. We definitely would return here should we visit Dublin again!

The people working the counter were extremely nice and service was pretty fast. My burrito, however, was just alright. I liked the tortilla but the inside was good but not great. I also remember asking about the types of sauces they had and one of them was simply tomato and mayo or something like that. Not very authentic, unfortunately. Pros: quick in and out, a cute table or two outside, friendly staff, good location. Cons: Taste. Wish it was more "authentic." Probably would try another restaurant if/when I return to Dublin.

Pablo Picante is a casual Mexican restaurant on Aston Quay. It's not the best Mexican food I've had…read morein Dublin, but it's pretty good. They have a nice selection of burritos, which you can have like normal or in a bowl minus the wrap, and tortas (big sandwiches). There are several meat options, and a couple of veggie friendly options (not sure about vegan though), as well as some gluten free/paleo stuff. They even have some health(ier) food options, but if you're getting a burrito just go hard or go home. They have several choices of salsas from mild to super spicy. I usually get the medio, which is like a slightly spicier version of pico de gallo. The portions are pretty big and I never leave hungry. Why I like stopping into Pablo's is they're one of the few restaurants in Dublin (that I know of) that has A&W root beer and cream soda. I'm from Canada (though Americans will also relate) and finding root beer in Ireland (even in just a store) is really hard and/or expensive. Okay well the A&W stuff (and vanilla Coke) is pricier here than regular minerals, but sometimes you gotta treat yo self. Of course there are lots of other drink options including a few beers as well. I don't know if I'd go out of my way to get here, but if I'm in the area I'll stop in.

For a very affordable €4.15 you get an 8" (a.k.a. normal-person-sized) tortilla which it's actually possible to finish without rolling yourself out the door. They still put in everything you ask for, just in smaller amounts. Very, very smart idea for anyone who doesn't want leftovers and doesn't feel like exploding their stomach, not today, thanks. I had mine with chicken and salsa #4. Chicken tasted very nice, marinated and grilled, and the salsa left my tastebuds glowing for about 10 minutes afterward. Just perfect. Another excellent burrito bar in Dublin…read more The atmosphere is grand. They are friendly, charming, and ask how your day was. If you eat in, they will come by and make sure everything is to your satisfaction. In the off-chance it is not, they seem willing to rectify it. The ambience music is cool. While the seating is compact, it is comfortable enough - and it doesn't take that long to stuff the oversized purchase into your gab. Each time I come here, I order the same thing. A steak burrito, black beans, lots of cheese and lots of the hottest sauce. They often throw in a few peppers for me, just to be kind. They definitely are not mean when it comes to adding extras. When I say extra cheese, they do comply. Also, they add more than one scoop of meat. Usually a scoop and a third. The only complaint is they don't accept laser/visa. I dislike carrying any amount of currency in Dublin - so this is a minor inconvenience.
