I tried this taco trunk tonight because it's near where I live and I saw they serve nachos but was disappointed with the result. I called ahead to double check where they park and then went there to order my nachos in person. They are parked on Woodman and before Osborne in front of a plaza. The price was high for just a regular nacho but it's a food truck so I understand. It took them a while to make the nachos but the customer service here is great and their salsa bar. They make the order based on when it was placed so even though my nachos is easy to make, they focus on other orders first. The chips in the nachos were very stale so it wasn't good. I added some pico de gallo to give it some flavor but it could only do so much. Maybe I'll give them another try but with just tacos. read more

Made a stop Friday afternoon for some tacos. I orders three tacos de asada with the toppings on the side. You can also get salsas, napkins and utensils, generous portions. The tacos were good but they are small so if you have a big appetite then it's best to get something fuller like a burrito or torta. They were decent tacos and for me, served its purpose in filling me up. It was also inexpensive including a coke can. Less than $10 bux spent. read more

This food truck was a great surprise! We've seen it around the North Hollywood Ralph's plaza on Magnolia and Vineland on Fridays but had tried a couple others in the little food truck pack that's been gathering there. GF wanted Gorditos so we gave it a shot. She ordered a vegetarian gordito and I got carne asada fries and buffalo wings. It took a little while to get the food as it was pretty early in the evening and and they were still getting going. It was about $40 for three boxes of food. We paid with a cash transfer app ( they have several to choose from). To be honest I expected to be underwhelmed as it just looks like a typical food truck. My GF was disappointed to find meat on her gordito but fortunately she's a flexitarian and was able to remove most of the meat. She enjoyed the gordito very much. I opened my wings first and was bit overwhelmed to find it also came with fries lol. I tried a couple of the fries and they were fantastic. Seasoned well and tasty. The buffalo wings were bone in, flavorful, with a (I'm pretty sure) a classic Frank's based sauce. Really tasty meat. Then I tried the carne asada fries and they blew me away. I had never tried asada fries before but these were a great introduction. The flavor combinations were great. This is the kind of food I can see myself craving in the future. The portions were large and the fries were so good I had to tell myself to slow my roll and save some for lunch the next day. (They were pretty darn tasty reheated too!) Despite the meat mix up of the gordito we had a very positive experience with the food from this truck. I would definitely return to get the asada fries again or maybe try something else. read more

When we found this spot we originally were looking for a different truck late at night and didn't find it but Im so happy I found this one instead. I got different tacos to try them. This is my go-to taco truck. The food is great and affordable, they're open late, and the workers are always very nice! Great salsas, red sauce is fiery hot and flavorful. Really like their tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, gringas, and empanadas (when they have them)! Great asada; it's chopped finer than most places and has good texture and flavor. Taco Tuesdays are especially great ($1 tacos), but their prices are always reasonable anyway. You get a lot of food for what you pay! I think this place really stands out, particularly in the crowded market that is taco places in the valley. Cash only, so come prepared. read more

This is my husband's and my go to place on Friday nights. I really like the tacos and the hubby the burritos and tortas. Lady working there is very friendly. Only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because last Friday we got screwed out of 4 tacos. We got charged for them but, they didn't give them to us. Another taco truck in the hood. I ended up here by accident. I was going to my spot and drove past it. Rather than swing a u-ee, I pulled over at the next truck. The neighborhood is sketchy as hell and in front of a church. I was on edge waiting for shots to be fired or someone getting stabbed. I think I may have completed my assimilation cause no one else seemed worried but me. I first tried food from this truck about 3 months ago. Ever since then I've been coming back when I find myself wanting tacos. So far I've tried the burrito, tacos and mulitas - all has been good. With every order they throw in grilled onions, nopal asado, jalapeño and a tostada with beans. So far I've only had their asada and al pastor. They do however have a big variety of meats. I really like their green salsa, it has a very homey taste. They also have a variety of condiments to choose from, which are all freshly cut. We ended up here because In N out was packed and I was hungry! This food truck is always on woodman and montague. It's amaze-balls. The selection here is so unique ! I was expecting typical Mexican food truck but almost every item has a twist. I got the Alembre plate and a Mexican coke, and the other person with me got lengua nachos. Next time I would like to try the "Gringa" which is al pastor with pineapple quesadilla type. They also have mulitas, and other plates I forgot to spell. This place has good flavor but the stuff is was very rude tonight the lady who took my order was very aggressive because i told her that i didnt order chix tacos i never eat chicken tacos , i order 3 suadero and 2 chorizo ,the last 2 times i order chorizo they have gave me al pastor instead so taday i double checked before i left and they give me chicken insted so i went to let her know she came back yo me showing me a paper that said pollo i told her i order chorizo ,she made it seem as if it was my mistake and that really upset me i understand that ppl make mistakes but come on this the third time i didn't complain before and the day that let them know about the mistake its my fault ,and after she does all this she says we can change them why didn't she just do that to start with insted she first made me really upset, i hope i can get some feed back from the owner or manager if they care about their business read more

Man how do I even begin. They have so much selections it's crazy and if you love food a little overwhelming because it all looks so delicious! I'll start with the quality of the meat, now this is meat and not that mixed ground beef shit (pay attention to ur meat it should not look gray if it's all Asada) this place cooks the meat to a nice dark toasty feel not too much just perfect to savor the flavor. Not greasy and even the tortilla has a good flavor. Their salsa bar is full of extra little things to add to your plate and their salsas both red and green are spicy and tasty. The selection of platillos they offer is different than other trucks they have a little bit of everything. I highly recommend their empanadas *drools they prepare them with lettuce cheese and crema sooo good! The staff is super friendly they definitely make u feel welcomed. I'm glad I found a place where I can really enjoy my meal and feel satisfied. Tuesday's all tacos are $1 going back for their nachos and asada fries soon and I can't wait!
