If you ever see a free table, grab it - it's always packed, and with good reason :) Really good tapas that are fairly priced - I went with my flatmate Matt for our final London weekend, 4 tapas between the two of us was more than enough!

Our very first breakfast experience in London, we walked in off the Market on a Saturday morning. The food was amazing, Full English breakfast was to die for, and the Shakahuka was also amazing! I would recommend this place again and again!

Best mocha I had in London!

Nice little cafe, doing takeaway right now. Has some nice substantive plates as well as pastries and cakes.

Perfect for a lunch time meeting or a long, sangria-fuelled evening, El Ganso's tapas are super tasty.

(It was kind of hard to find with maps being misleading). Was it awful and no one had the heart to review? Our fears were put to rest when we found the place, and got our meal! Everything was delicious, and the bright blue burger bun was festive. The crack and cheese was as addictive as it sounded! Be mindful when you order - you won't likely need as much as the menu recommends (if you do, you can always order more) and they don't seem to be ready for taking items home (though they found a creative and effective solution for us)!

We stumbled across this place in our research and I particularly loved the idea of a unique take on traditional British dishes, so we decided to give it a shot. The place itself has a great decor and made a for a nice, romantic date night - nicely lit by candles adding a nice touch. We were waited on primarily by William, who turned out to be one of the owners, and he was very sweet and an absolute delight. The food - literally everything we had was incredible. The wild boar, game & apple croquettes were so perfectly cooked with the slightest bit of sweetness and came set atop a sauce that was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loves scotch eggs, and was a little hesitant about a quail scotch egg as well as trying black pudding for the first time - and he wanted to order about 3 more. Following those, we also got the lamb, the crack & cheese, the truffle & parmesan fries, and the wagyu/bone marrow burger, all to share. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The burger was the one of the juiciest and flavorful burgers that I'd ever have - definitely don't be put off by the blue bun! It just added to how unique it was. The crack and cheese was a bit on the soupier side, but it was delicious, and perfect for dipping french fries into after you've eaten the macaroni. I'm not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews - it's a very cool place with delicious food. I highly recommend this place - I would suggest going out of your way to check this place out. The owner also has a fantastic cocktail lounge that he recommended - Looking Glass Lounge - as it was right by our AirBnB, and that was a great experience as well (but that's for a different review).

When we went in at 530 there were maybe 5 or 6 tables with people sitting. It took us 25 minutes to get our drink order only after I got up and tracked down the waiter. Took another 40 minutes just to get our drinks delivered. Now these were a margarita and paloma, not anything crazy complicated and we weren't asking for any top shelf tequila just their basic house drink. It was crazy how slow this team moved, especially too as the drinks were really good. Wish we had stuck with the drinks because the tacos and nachos we ordered were gross. It's a shame the service was so terrible because the vibe was nice, and they had two for one drink specials for happy hour from 2-6.

Brightly colored rooms, tropical/ Spanish/ Mexican theme I guess...? service at the bar was slow, not sure why, - as only a few other patrons there. We ordered a cocktail that was offered at happy hour, sweet, weak and mostly ice! So we changed to beer, then decided to get food, the Super Barrio Nacho was our choice. The Nachos arrived soon after our order was placed, probably microwaved as the nachos where soggy and the size was not at all "super", perhaps I was expecting American Size. Talk about small plates, this nacho order was so small! Disappointing, after tax they cost €12, overpriced, we decided to pass on dinner there. The bar had a patio out back, standard picnic table, placed close together. It was a weeknight, no one out on the Patio, the murals painted on the patio walls, looked like I painted them, and believe me I am not an artist! The bathrooms for the bar are downstairs and quite a distance from the bar. One interesting thing about the water closet was there were two toilets in one stall, not sure what that was about...? It's right on the bus line, so easy to get to, no taxi needed. The tube station was quite a distance, not knowing the neighborhood, we decided to take the bus since the bus stop was right outside the bar. I'm guessing this place could be fun b/c it's brightly colored. Granted it was not a weekend. But I was put off by little service & little portions & big prices.

It does have a bunch of foosball tables which are actually in pretty decent shape. And I believe the downstairs section has even more foosball tables. Don't think they have any beers on tap though. There is a basement and maybe there are taps down there, but given the beer is all just bottles it seems a bit pricey. Great for a football match, pretty chill after the match.

On arrival we were directed to the basement area which has it's own bar and about 4 fooseball tables. I love foosball so that aspect about Bar Kick really appealed to me, as well as the the Happy hour from 4-7pm (their mojitos are brilliant!) I was however let down by their so called food platters which consisted of two small hummus bowls, two types of cheese some bread and a few crackers. Not sure how much the food was (our company paid for this), but it hardly fed 3 people, before it dissappeared. Another let down was that the one foosball table that we were given to play on was super wobbly and the other was missing parts, not something you expect from a foosball bar and expecially not if you're paying £1 for each game. We still had fun though and I realised that my foosball skills are still terrible ( I blame the wobbly table though :p )

We stumbled in on a whim, just looking for a good place to grab a bite to eat for dinner, and found a restaurant where everything was incredible. You cannot go wrong. The Patas bravas was really good, though simple. It was presented in a really cool way, with a dipping sauce on the side. The spinach croquettes were so tasty and cheesy. The yellowtail sashimi was really refreshing. The braised short rib was INCREDIBLE- so tender and flavorful. With great onion rings. The best thing we ate, by far, was the grilled octopus. It was perfectly tender and crispy at the same time. It had such good flavor and such a good sauce. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The waiter was really great, we were in between a few items and he actually decided to surprise us and picked some items for us. The aperol spritz was also really tasty and well balanced! If you're looking for a place to eat near tower bridge, you can't go wrong with Bravas! The dessert was also really good- it was soaked in this delicious cream sauce and had a fun mango sorbet on the side

Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't have full air conditioning--only a few lucky seats are positioned near the AC unit. We even brought portable fans, which ended up being necessary as the sun set directly into the restaurant's glass frontage, heating things up quickly. We ordered a broad selection of tapas: octopus, the salmon-wrapped sweet potato crisp, fennel salad, pork belly, spinach balls, and the bravas potatoes. The food was hit and miss. The pork belly was the highlight--flavorful and tender with a sweet glaze. However, other dishes fell flat. The fennel salad surprisingly came with canned pineapple, the spinach balls tasted like they were made with frozen spinach, and the bravas potatoes were essentially frozen fries--not what you'd expect from a place with this kind of setting and pricing. Service started out fine but slowed down significantly over the course of the meal. A couple of our dishes were forgotten entirely, and the heat made the wait feel even longer. Overall, Bravas Tapas had its moments, but between the uneven food quality, heat, and spotty service, it left us more frustrated than satisfied. It's a beautiful spot with potential, but there's room for improvement--especially when it comes to consistency and comfort.
