On the same plate we had chicharrones en salsa, a breakfast staple in this city. To balance the heavier dishes we had a Jugo Verde drink made from fresh pineapple and parsley. The staff were so friendly, we felt at home with the kind approach and nice ambiance. The decor is traditional and tasteful, we had such a fun experience. Salsas were tasty and go from mild to hot. We ordered the tuetanos de res a la parrilla con champiñones and added escamoles to try. The tuetano was delish and the escamoles and acquired taste, but we tried them! We wrapped up with fish tacos and an oblea with cajeta which was delish. Just what we needed to wrap up the meal.
