Carne Asada
TJ B.

Friendly little Latin place. Fast service Just noticed it and she said they'd been open for 3 months. Standard menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Clean and bare inside. Chicken tamales were good. Didn't come with a sauce but she brought me a squirt bottle of hot sauce that was nice and spicy. Carne asada was a relatively tough thin (but wide) piece of beef. Not a lot of flavor, but wasn't bad. Came with rice, beans, salad and two fresh made corn tortillas. And a lime wedge. Typical all iceberg Mexican "salad" with a little salsa and no dressing. I like small independent places so I'd go back and try some more things, but Ay Jalisco in the strip mall next door had much better carne asada....and they sell beer. I'll be curious to try breakfast, though.

The decor is super cute and even the coasters had the logo which i thought was a cute touch. I definitely recommend trying the mixta pupusa and the carne asada, both were delicious and full of flavor. This place is always a good choice!

I needed to have a fast way to order and then simply go for pick up - NOT stand around waiting for the pupusas to cook. The online system worked pretty well but the menu is not that well organized. The restaurant is way bigger than I expected. It was crowded even at 2 in the afternoon so that was a good indication. But I have to admit that the floors, counters and tables were pretty dirty. That surprised me. My order was delivered to me quickly by a very nice and friendly cashier and I went back to my office. The pupusas were fresh and still steaming hot from the oven. I went with the safe chicken & cheese pupusas. The flavor was delicious! There was a little more grease than I expected but I hear that is just part of the pupusa expeience! I would definitely go back and try some of the other flavors. Do I recommend La Casita to others? Yes I do!!!

The best Peruvian food in the area at really good prices! You get large portions for much better…read moredeals than many other Peruvian restaurants in the area. I've only done takeout from the Nibbler, but it is just a small place in a strip mall next to the Dunkin Donuts and Papa John's. It doesn't have frills or look fancy inside, but that's not what you're here for. You're here for good af Peruvian food and that's what you'll get. My husband and I still prefer the Nibbler over other fancier Peruvian places simply because their food tastes like home cooking, not food that just came out of the kitchen of a restaurant and you can't beat that. It's always consistent, always quick, and the staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have.

The app is so easy to use and it even gives you updates on your order which is perfect! I had to try something different this time and based on I seen on the reviews the choice was easy plus I figured why not also add dessert too. GRILLED SALMON w. RICE & FRENCH FRIES OMGGGG this was beyond amazing and filling. The salmon seemed to be flattened then grilled which is unique but no complaints. I added onions, avocado, rice and fries which were a good balance of flavor and different textures. At the last minute I added red beans and oh my this was so delicious and gave rice the juice it needed. I savored EVERY last bite, this was a huge portion and to be honest can be shared (I personally rather save some for later since I refuse to share this amazing food). Oh I forgot, I finally tried this Green Sauce & when I tell you this sealed the deal Mmmmm yummy!!! I'm so mad I took so long to try this sauce but going forward I'm getting it lol. BANANA TRES LECHE This right here is the TRUTH!!! OhMyGoodness this was extremely amazing. I'm not a huge banana fan but this cake was delightful. From the instant smells of cinnamon and banana to the extremely moist banana and milk infused cake, this is definitely a MUST HAVE!!!! So good, I'm beyond shocked and grateful for this. I'm definitely coming back for more. Customer service was and still is AMAZING! My order was ready when I got there and the last assisted me with pleasure. I recognize the warm welcoming and embrace and so grateful for it. Place was beautiful and clean, like I've say before, it has a house feeling and so intimate. Overall, this place has my heart and should have yours too!

Only think that stood me back was the price; over $15.00 sheeeesh. I know the ingredients don't cost as much to go resell at that price but I understand living in 2025 in this economy is tough. The price is somewhat reasonable due to the amount of food they provide! I couldn't even finish it. In the restaurant there was no music playing, I wonder if it is always this way. Overall I appreciate these ladies putting effort in cooking authentic Salvadoran food, it did not take long at all to receive my food either.
