Food was absolutely delicious! We ate the grilled white fish and the shrimp in garlic sauce; both came with rice and beans. The portions were generous and the service was great

The young thin woman has a bad attitude, terrible service and instead of charging you for a meal she charges for everything separately.

I seriously ordered the Oxtail stew over yellow rice for takeout 3x in my first week since discovering them.

We each had their tasty red Sangria, mango and arugula salad, their signature Beso Paella and their scrumptious fig tart. I was thoroughly enamored by how delicious everything was. The indoor decor is lovely and special kudos to our personable server Luna, server Mario, and stellar chef Ezekiel. I recommend this eatery to the highest degree.

New Year's Eve celebration was awful! On New Year's Eve, our group of six went to Besos based on…read morewhat was clearly a set menu advertised. What we received instead was a complete bait-and-switch. The menu advertised twin lobster and two pork chops. When the food arrived, it was one lobster and one pork chop. When we questioned it, we were told the menu had "changed." That change was never communicated before ordering or seating. That is deceptive, plain and simple. Despite paying $150 per person for an open bar and food, I was also told I could only order sangria or mojitos--even though other drinks were listed. Only after we complained was I finally allowed to order what was advertised. At that point, the damage was already done. This is false advertising and unacceptable business practice. You do not get to lure customers in with one menu and then quietly downgrade it once they are seated and have paid. That responsibility falls entirely on Besos' ownership and management. I will never return and will not recommend this establishment to anyone. The only thing Besos got right was the music. Everything else was a rip-off. Shame on this restaurant for misleading customers on a night meant to celebrate.

I was…read morelooking for a Cuban restaurant, because I wanted a good Cubano, and instead, I found this place, which is food from across Latin America. They had the Cubano, but they had so many other things, I decided to go for something different. It is a nice space, with Latin music playing loud and proud. They have parking behind the restaurant, but it is shared with the other businesses in the small shopping center that the restaurant is in. Parking may be tricky. The food is on a cafeteria line, you just tell them what you want. It was Sunday, so I wanted to try the goat. Unfortunately, they were sold out. Instead, I decided to go for the chicken stew. For my sides, I decided to go for the rice and pigeon, peas, and the yellow plantains. Dear lord, I couldn't believe the size of the plate that she handed me. The chicken was bone in, but it was so tender and juicy, it was literally falling right off the bone. It was seasoned well and had an amazing flavor. I loved the rice, and the pigeon peas kind of reminded me of Black Eyed Peas. I liked the nutty flavor. The plantains were done very well. I love plantains, they reminded me of a banana, only a little bit less sweet. I had enough food for two full meals, and each of them left me stuffed. For all of this amazing food, and a soda, it was only $16 and a few cents, plus tip. I want to come back and try more things. Thank you very much....

The stewed chicken is always my favorite. Rice and peas always a good choice.b they even have Mac n cheese for those who like pork chops too. Salads, pulpo, seafood salads and more. It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Sazon Latino offers free off-street parking in a small lot behind the restaurant and there's plenty of free on-street parking on Main Street.
