The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. Our most recent visit was a take-out. We had the Bacon Wrapped Dates, one of our favorite dishes for many years, since we first had them at a tapas restaurant. This version is different from most we've had, in that the dates are stuffed with Manchego cheese, which we think is a very nice improvement. My wife ordered the French Onion Soup, which we both thought was really tasty. Even as a to-go item, it had a great tasting broth, good bread layer, and generous amount of cheese melted on top. I ordered the Caprese Salad. The Mozzarella was beautiful. I am hopeful that as we get into tomato season, they'll look at using some local / heirloom tomatoes, though these were acceptable. I don't recall any other place that had the addition of pesto, and I really liked this addition to the balsamic glaze that is typical of a Caprese Salad. For a "main", my wife had the patty melt, which was quite good. I had the Bleu & Red Burger (for the 2nd time), which I really enjoyed. (For me, it could have been a bit spicier with a little more sriracha.) Each of our sandwiches came with a side, which defaults to French Fries. My wife swapped for a Side Salad for a $2 upcharge, which she liked quite well. Since I already had the Caprese Salad, I swapped for a Baked Potato (with butter and sour cream) that was cooked perfectly. I should comment on why we swapped out the fries. Cap's joins nearly everyone else in Clarksville at not knowing how to make crispy fries, even after crispy fries are requested. Anyway, we'll continue eating here. And if they ever mention to me that they've learned how to make crispy fries, I'll try them again.
