My son is enrolled in EAS and is excelling in his studies. The staff do a great job in teaching a Christian based education.

If you're looking for a restaurant in the EDH area where the locals go, head to Milestone. My…read morehusband and I met the proprietors of this wonderful restaurant when it first opened in 2015. The service has never been better and I highly recommend the 60 Day Dry-Aged Grilled CheeseBurger. Alexa and Nick were a beacon in the light during the great shut down of 2020. They kept the portions the same and the love and kindness pouring out of the doors every time my husband or I wasted another mask, I mean risked our lives to come into contact with those we know and appreciate in our lives. I had to slow my visits to focus on health for a few years but on those fleeting evenings where I dared to eat out I always chose Milestone for their home town family atmosphere and delicious food. Servers have come and moved on over the years and it was a pleasure to interact with each one. Last year, Milestone celebrated its 10th anniversary and it was exciting to see several former employees return to celebrate. To anyone reading this. Be kind to your servers, remember these are your friends, neighbors, and the kids of your neighbors. They take care of this community and elevate our taste buds. This restaurant would not have the feelings it does when you walk in the door if the tenured staff were not around all these years to make sure you and your friends are taken care of and served with a smile on their face. Those skills don't come easily. I want to give Alexa and Nick a huge thank you for investing in this community, and everyone you come in contact with.

The blackberry pork chop was a highlight! It was juicy, flavorful, and gone in a blink! The Cajun scallops (seasonal) were good, served over a nicely spiced Cajun sauce, though the portion leans on the lighter side with three scallops. We wrapped up with a lemon dessert that added a bright, refreshing note to finish the meal. We sat outside which made for a relaxing setting.

We have had our daughter at First Friends for two years and LOVE it! One of the main things I have…read moreloved is the consistency with teachers. Ms Maggie (owner) and Ms Araceli have been there for years, which provides stability and keeps the schedule consistent. So many of the schools in this area are like a revolving door with the teachers, which is tough on the kids since they dont really get to know them. This way Araceli has been able to talk with authority on how our daughter has progressed over time. The location is beautiful and they have a fantastic outdoor area that feels natural and structured at the same time. There are so many options for the kids to play on they never get bored. Plus chickens! Maggie hosts farmers markets from the veggies they grow and sells eggs, then uses the money for school projects. It's utterly charming! As for how it's run, I really like how structured it is. This will set your kid up for TK or kinder very nicely as the public schools are all on a firm schedule. So class time is all about jobs and activities, then the kids get to get lots of free play in the yard. They use an app to give picture notices and updates, so I feel very connected to my daughter when she's there and always in the loop about what's happening at school. We provide lunch and Maggie does healthy homemade snacks. Our tuition was way less than where we came from in Sac, so I felt it was a steal. The hours are loosely 8am-2:30pm. But my number one plus is how safe we have felt at first friends. It is hard to trust your kids to the care of someone else, and I have literally never felt one ounce of nervousness leaving my daughter in the capable hands of Ms Araceli or Maggie. We are lucky to have found this school.

The light up fairy crown that everyone receives is a very nice touch to the experience! I ordered the salmon ($46), which came on a bed of caramelized mashed potatoes & a side Hobbit salad. The portion of salmon was huge & came out hot & I ate it all! I also ordered an apple dessert crepe ($20) to-go (which surprisingly took a really long time to receive - enough for my friend to eat her own entire crepe) & for what it was, it was just ok.

After seeing countless videos on social media, I was excited to finally visit this unique and whimsical-looking restaurant for Mother's Day lunch. Unfortunately, the experience got off to a disappointing start. When making the reservation, I was never informed that the restaurant would only be offering a limited Mother's Day menu. By the time we were seated and learned there were only five menu options available, with no access to the regular brunch menu, it was too late to make alternative plans. Not wanting to spend the holiday scrambling for another restaurant, we decided to stay and make the best of it. For the price, the food was underwhelming. Most of the dishes were mediocre, and my filet was noticeably overcooked. I had specifically been looking forward to trying items from their brunch menu, so finding out it wasn't available was disappointing. The cocktails were visually appealing but overly sweet and lacked balance. Another disappointment was the seating. Despite making reservations in advance, we were not seated in one of the restaurant's signature enchanted booths. To be fair, there are only three of these themed booths in the entire restaurant. The rest of the dining room felt somewhat dated and cluttered with dusty artificial plants. The overall atmosphere didn't quite match the magical experience portrayed online and on social media. The staff did make an effort to celebrate Mother's Day by giving moms elf ears and light-up tiaras, which was a fun touch and added to the theme. In the end, I left feeling disappointed. The concept and marketing create high expectations, but the food, seating experience, and overall value didn't quite live up to the hype. While the restaurant certainly offers a unique theme, my experience fell short of what I was expecting, and I'm not sure I would be motivated to return.

We sat down & instantly had 2 mimosas in front of us, plus ice waters. 6 choices on the menu, hard to choose! We wanted to have 2 different, so we could try each other's. My husband ordered Chillaquilles & I chose the Breakfast BLT. We were presented a lovely chilled bowl of fresh fruit to share. Then came a warm plate of mini tarts, one raspberry, 1 lemon. Delicious! When our entrees arrived, they were photo worthy!! Mine was on in-house baked French bread, thick cut, smoked in house bacon, 2 perfectly cooked over easy eggs, an orange heirloom tomato from their garden, romaine lettuce & a perfectly soft avocado!! Absolutely perfect!! There was a side of mini cubbed red potatoed, that I didn't do justice to but I will have them tomorrow with my leftovers!! This is how a perfect brunch should be!!! Service was just as excellent as the food & the beautiful view of the vineyards & the Sierras could not have been better!! We will be back!!!!
