I have to say I really hate this place. I have eaten here twice and both times I felt nauseous by the end of my burrito. The flavor for the california burrito was really not good. The salsas are standard red and green, but both are flavorless. The meat is super salty and something in the burrito tastes like olive juice. I wanted to like this place but I will never be back. The first time I stepped in the building I wanted to get a menu to take home. The young man at the counter didn't say anything to me when I told him I wanted a menu. I seen them for my self 2 seconds later and I asked him for a menu again to get a reaction from him which was none. Lol. He just sat there a looked at me. It didn't make me eager to come back. My curiosity intrigued me 2 weeks later so I decided what the hey! I'll give it a go:-) I came in at 2pm and no one was in but employees. The man who helped me this time was very nice and helpful. I like how they don't overwhelm you with so many food options. There wasn't a zillion different options and that helps me because I have a hard time deciding all the time lol. So I ordered the chili relleno burrito, bean and cheese burrito, asada burrito, ground beef taco and French fries. The chili relleno burrito was delicious. It tasted very homemade and fresh. The ground beef taco was so delicious also. I loved it!! Very fresh and homemade tasting as well. The onions were crisp. Perfect. I did not taste the bean in cheese but my daughter told me it was good also. She ate the whole thing. My husband had the asada. He liked it too. Sides of salsa were spicy to perfection. Now for the criticism. For 6.99 for a burrito the burritos could've been packed more. It was quite small for 6.99 I was expecting more for my money. There was too much excess tortilla when there wouldn't have been if it was packed more. My husband complained that it wasn't big enough too. We are big eaters though. The fries also lacked salt. The burritos could have used a squeeze of lime but I'll ask for it next time. So yes there will be a next time. I loved my burrito. 7/10 I keep thinking about but I'll try something new when I go back. So in conclusion to this long drawn out review lol I recommend it. If you have 7 dollars to blow. read more

Food seriously sucks! I don't know if these other people on here have had good Mexican food before. Went in today my wife had a chile relleno meal and I had a simple asada torta with fries on the side. My wife's rice was what looked and tasted from those quick ready rice boxes. Was sorta yellowish color. Chile relleno and side of beans also were not that great. My torta had no tomatoes, guacamole had no flavor taste was just plain Alberto's is way better. We got chips and green salsa. Just to let you know everything here is watered down. Meaning the salsa is more water than actual chile! Ketchup is also watered down. Poured ketchup for the fries and was seriously all water. I know they are trying to make it last but come on really? If that's the case might as well not serve food that requires ketchup. The aguas frescas are basically from powder not genuine Mexican aguas. I had an horchata and wife had a Jamaica. Also the ceiling fans had at least half an inch of dust collected on the blades. Don't believe me all you have to do is take a quick peak inside. Cooks are not hygienic. No hair nets or nothing not surprised if someone has gotten a few hairs already. I tried the California burrito and I really liked it. The flavor was there and it had all the right ingredients. As others have said it does have a definite home made taste to it. I noticed the potatoes in there. I don't like my food over salted, but I don't like food bland either. I thought the potatoes were a bit under seasoned, but I like that better than being too salty. Besides, with the rest of the ingredients it all worked together well. The meat tasted good and was properly seasoned. I was impressed by the size of the burrito. It's bigger than the California burrito from Alberto's. So I will definitely come back to try more items. The restaurant was clean too and I like the atmosphere. Nothing exciting, but it's nice. The bathrooms were clean too which I was really happy about. A dirty bathroom can be a potential deal breaker. read more
