110% Homemade, as in from scratch. Delicious and perfect portions. Super friendly staff. They pour a fabulous fresh margarita even if a bit expensive, worth it! There are a new restaurant so they're still working on their ambience. Keep spending your money there so they can invest more in the restaurant. This place needs to stay around!

Finally! Real Mexican food in Vermont! This is southern Mexican food so it may be a little different for you, but it's authentic and delicious. It was different and not everyone knew what everything was on the menu but everything we tasted was delicious. The green enchiladas appeared to be red and my cheese enchiladas appeared to be chicken, but they were indeed made with green chilies and my cheese was just extra stringy it looked like shredded chicken. Service was very kind. The place is plain with absolutely no decor or pretension. I'm sorry, but this place blows Casa Grande/Real away. The spices and the tortillas and crispiness of the taquitos and the guac and the RICE! OMG the rice was perfect. It made me so happy. Enjoy

Roommate said it was good so I was curious about the menu and I found it and I'm sharing a picture of the menu. My roommate was very ecstatic he just wish they had had sour cream. I asked if he asked for Crema and he said they didn't have it. I haven't eaten there. it is getting good reviews.

Best Mexican food I've had on the east coast of the USA I swear to god!! Server and staff were super nice and friendly and food came out quick. Loved the music and vibes inside. Will be coming back to devour the whole menu

The restaurant was so good that I went back again this week. I was not disappointed, I had the enchiladas and they were delicious too. If you go around 4:30 you won't have any trouble getting a table. But around dinner time the word is getting out about this place.

The first impression is underwhelming, but stay! The service is friendly and accommodating. The Oaxacan food is authentic and very tasty! You'll try some things you probably haven't before! Well worth your time and money!

Carne asada tacos so so good, cilantro, onion, lime and salsa. The perfect taco

The vibe is exactly what you'd expect from a classic Mexican-American chain--casual, comfortable, and easygoing. We all ordered the mixed fajitas with chicken and steak, served with rice, beans, and salad. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch to start. Everything was tasty overall. The steak was a little chewy, but honestly for the price point, it was a great value. Left full and satisfied, and I'd definitely come back again.

Casa Grande always has great service and each time we come it is better and better. There have been one or two times that we didn't have a great time when they first opened but we enjoy it! Jay is the best there and I always request him as my server. He is very attentive, genuine and goes above and beyond. My husband loves the tapatio and of course my little one loves the cheese quesadillas haha. The ceviche at this location is not very good at all but the ceviche at the Colchester location, Casa Real location has GREAT ceviche though!! The shrimp tacos, birria tacos and carne asada are very good as well!

Oddly enough, I am visiting in Burlington and nothing is really open late, so I went to chilis two nights in a row after work because nothing else was open. The first time, service, food and drinks were fine. Second night, we sit down, customer service is great, drinks come out, we get maybe two sips before one of the servers comes out in a panic saying that there's an electrical fire in the kitchen and everyone needs to evacuate asap!! Everyone goes outside and waits for the fire dept. the fire dept comes but they don't clear the fire. An employee (whom I thought was the manager because he was making announcements) says that they're probably going to have to close for the night and he apologies. This is after waiting 15 to 20 mins outside. He tells me that he'll give a $25 gift card for the inconvenience and to just call or come back by. I called but no answer. I come by today and explain all of this to the hostess who then offers to get the MOD. LOU comes out and just stands at the host stand like a jackazz. No hello or anything so I assume he's just there looking for something. He literally SAYS NOTHING TO ME but is shuffling through menus. I ask him if he's the manager, he says "YEA" with a terrible attitude but says nothing else. I ask if the young lady told him what happened or if u should start from the beginning. He says, "she said you want a gift card" -- again with a nasty attitude. I then smile to suppress my complete irritation because he's being a jerk for no reason. I explained the situation again and before I could finish he cuts me off and says "I can give you a $5 gift card. Two of them." I'm like, are you okay? Do these come out of your check? It's a lot of huffing and puffing and disgusting looks for no reason. Anyway... I left the $5 gift card on the counter and told him to have a nice day. If you hate your job, Lou... quit! Also, Chili's needs to do some random drug and alcohol screening... Lou doesn't seem well.

It pains me to write this review, but after many major fails, I have to speak up, because, there is something rotten in the state of Vermont. This local franchise has rested on it laurels for years, and very often deserved; but over the past two years it has gone downhill, so far in fact, it's basically a rest area pit toilet. My most recent order is in the photos, but the general experience is the same between the South Burlington and Williston locations: hope, disappointment, and disgust. The South Burlington locations specializes in extremely overcooked chicken sandwiches and sad, soggy fries. I gave up on that location months ago. Earlier tonight, I gave the Williston location another chance; well, we all make mistakes. To say it was disgusting and inedible is an understatement, but the presentation was just plain creepy - (see photos) - it looked like someone tore off/ate a piece of the over-sized nugget they sold as a "chicken breast" sandwich. All of my "just doesn't look right" sensors went off. This was very, very unsettling. I put it in the trash where it belongs. I'm very upset that I spent my money and literally had to throw it away. The burger would have been salvageable (if i wasn't already creeped out by the "chicken sandwich" with a chunk missing). Besides, they put a cup of mayo on it. They put so much mayo on it, it not only liquefied the bun, but had begun liquefying the cardboard box it was in! This place is typical Burlington, Vermont mentality. Completely self-absorbed, self-important, and self-righteous - they think their stuff does not stink - and have no ability to process constructive criticism. Honestly, don't wasn't your time and money here. Go to Al's French Fries (Williston Road, South Burlington) if you want truly good, local, and sanitary food. Go to McDonald's if you can't get to Al's. Either way, you will get better food than at this self-righteous, stoned-out/"vibed-out," incompetent clown show.

My neighbors & I are woken by blaring contemporary music. I'm not a fan but let's be honest it's probably not considered the most banging music of all time. The car will be on its way soon & I can go back to sleep. Right? Nope! The music continues blaring, so I'm up now. I see a text from my neighbor. He's pretty unhappy and reports the music is coming from a food truck. One of the gentlemen in my building went outside to investigate where the music was coming from & discovered it's the El Gato Cantina food truck bumping his music from a sub. He says a guy working in the truck told him to eff-off. I guess contemporary music can be banging cuz it's certainly rocking my bedroom windows. And the people who vibe out to it aren't calm sweet souls. It's pouring rain, I get my dog suited up & we head outside for a morning wee. Upon walking outside I realize just how loud this sound system is & I decide to kindly ask them to turn down the music. Maybe a female will get a different response. I knock on the open front door. There's a man holding a broom. I ask "Can u plz turn that down, it's not even 9AM sir" This rude entitled jerk waves his hand at me as if I'm a gnat, and responds. " yeah yeah, get the F out of here." I respond with, "sir This is our neighborhood and you woke many of us up can u plz turn it down." I walked away. I have no desire to hang around to see what other profanity he's planning to throw my way. I waited a good 10 minutes or so and when the music kept blaring, I stood in front of his truck and called SAPD. He turned it down before the cruiser got there. But seriously? This is how your business treats our community? You expect us to want anything to do with your business? Honestly, stay in Burlington/Essex with that nonsense. Saint Albans at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning is not the place for you. This business is not in it to serve our community. I highly recommend giving this food truck a pass.
