TLDR is the food is fine but quite overpriced for Seville. Would recommend going elsewhere.
Our family of 4 had dinner here after we couldn't get a table at any of the well reviewed/popular Seville tapas spots we tried to go to first. I believe it was the owner who seated us, he was kind and spoke some English. I won't be returning because I think the meal was poor value. The food items range from 9-36€ which I thought implied they'd be plate size and not tapas size, but 3 of the 4 dishes were ordered were standard tapas size. In my experience, at even the best tapas places in Seville, each item ranges from 3-9€ with the majority of them falling at 5€. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. The staff is perfectly nice and mostly Spanish speaking.
(FOOD ORDER)
First we had the tosta focaccia de Sardinia (sardine's focaccia toast) 14€, it was a standard rendition, not spectacular but just fine. Then the tortillas de Camerones (shrimp's pancakes) 15€ , which were the best dish we ordered, good flavor and nice and crispy. Then the Solomillo Atún a la parrilla (grilled tuna sirloin) 18€, very basic grilled tuna steak with side of greens, not worth the price, it was unseasoned and without sauce. Lastly the abanico/secreto ibérico de bellota joselito (grilled pork Iberian joselito steak) 24€, tasty but tough pork steak, possibly because of the nature of the meat and not the fault of the cooking. This dish was also served with fries (actual American style fries). That dish was also certainly not worth the price, we had better pork steaks and potatoes on Seville for 5€.
(DRINK ORDER)
We had a glass of the red wine 3,80€, just your average crappy house wine, but fine for the price. We also ordered the red sangria 7,50€ which was quite sweet, certainly one of the lesser ones I had in Seville and rather overpriced.
Attaching the menus because I couldn't find pictures of them on the internet. The food wasn't really worth taking pictures of. read more
