I really wish I could give more than 3 stars just cause you can't go wrong with churros! But in my opinion the flavor was lacking. The churro is very nicely coated with cinnamon and sugar, but having had many churros in my lifetime, the dough is just as important. The dough didn't really taste like much. Just flour. I also think it tasted a little undercooked. I dont usually like much on my churros, but I saw that they offered cajeta. I love, love, love cajeta. Unfortunately it tasted more like a caramel or Dulce de leche, not cajeta. Cajeta for those who know has a very distinct flavor. This was not it. I did order one of those Cafe de olla iced coffees. Now that on the other hand was delicious! 10/10! The best iced Cafe de olla I've had so far. This has a hint of chocolate, tasted like a Mexican chocolate I love so much CarlosV, like a Mexican chocolate cookie. If you know these flavors, you know it's delicious! If it was just their coffee I was rating I would definitely give them five stars. The price is is a bit high. I just want to point out that they were here in Venice for a festival, they are usually located in Whittier and many times trucks do raise their prices for events. I'm not at all sure if that was the case here but I paid $25 for 5 churros, a 2oz side of cajeta and the iced coffee. The cajeta was $3 alone. That's a little high in my opinion. Putaso! I saw this place on ig and had to come check them out. I originally came in for churros. But I see they had a "churro panson/putaso " which was like a torta of sweetness lol I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. Prices are fair. Great service and fresh. My churro panzon was hot when I got it. So the best way I can describe it is a churro type dough, formed like a croissant. Cut in half and filled with Mexican caramel spread. Nice and gooey. Crunchy, cinnamon and sugar on the outside. Really good. Coming back next time for the churros. But for now, I'm glad I came. I look forward to seeing you guys soon. read more

Hot fresh churros!! Simple buzz words that can attract anyone trying to fill their sugar cravings! Because they are made to order, just biting into one is a comforting feeling. The five to ten minutes or less wait is worth it! I think $15 dollars for 14 churros is reasonable and fair. I've been here few times already lol because it's so convenient. Parking is free and easy too. Their truck is on the main street peck rd (can't miss them with the bright lights and neon sign), so parking in the shared market plaza is fine. There's toppings you can add to your churros, but I just stick to plain churros because it's so deliciously sweet already! I am a fan of the churro big belly!!! I'll be back! This is a dream come true on a cold damp night,we stopped,ordered a Chaparado that was hot to the point of where you could barely sip so HoT... it was just the way I like it, delicious and not too sweet I love this drink with Mexican sweet bread and they have plenty of things to order with it...my favorite is the number two take it home and add strawberries and a custard cream and then a can of whipped cream to squirt all over the top of it,that's the best but I didn't want to have to run to the store so I just went ahead and got the three Churros in a bag with the white sauce on the side ((the white sauce is sweetened condensed milk)) to dip them in.... they were nice and hot as we waited for our order I sipped on my drink, anticipating the deliciousness to come...This was a first time trying the truck,it was satisfying for what it was,I prefer my churros fried softer,fatter filled with a sweet custard cream inside,and less of a hard crunchy bite...but for those, I would have to drive to Covina, so this will have to do for now. **And a warning,** on the $2 containers of caramel they sell in small plastic jars where you pay, We bought one, and upon 1st taste had to throw it away,it had a bad taste, like kerosene oil. I decided to stop by and check it out. when I was arriving I saw he's neon sign saying they had champurrado I knew I was in for a treat. I decided to try their plátanos fritos & churros. This is a food truck so make sure you have cash! Sometimes they accept cash apps but the person who does wasn't there today. Luckily, my bank was across the street (Chase). The churros were just "Meh." I ordered the 6 piece with cheesecake ice cream, cajeta (caramel sauce) and lechera (condensed milk). The sauces made everything WAY too sweet and I would recommend getting them on the side. The churro itself was super crispy on the outside but too dough-ey on the inside. Seems like it was fried on too high of a heat so the inside didn't have time to cook while the outside crisped up fast. My ex and I wanted something sweet after dinner on Friday night. She kept harping about someplace she and her sister had tried a few times back in September and loved. However, she could not remember the place and we couldn't find it, we drove around, we searched Yelp, and we were unsuccessful, and it drove her nuts. Finally, we finally found it after 1 hour, or maybe less. The guy has his truck with bright lights on top, loud Mexican music playing, and cameras on his truck, and he even gives a pager to customers so they know when their food is ready. He has Instagram, Yelp, Google, and Facebook and a large picture of the scan icon on his truck to direct you to his social media. He was parked right in front or between KFC and Carls Jr off Peck Rd/ Ramona. So when you arrive you can park in the Carls Jr parking lot/ KFC. I forgot the name of what she ordered (something in Spanish) but it was number 1 on their menu. It was like a deep-fried donut with vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, and all this other stuff on top of it, we didn't get any chocolate syrup but it was very good. 6 donuts balls or whatever they're called, the portions are enough for two and I think it was $7 or $10 total. Lastly, remember to bring CASH! because they only accept cash! No debit or credit card and because of that, we had to leave and go to the bank. And even though we had to drive around for a while, and then go to the bank to get the cash, it was well worth it! and I definitely recommend trying El Churro Panzon. read more

The closest cajeta filled churro to my beloved Guadalajara. As soon I arrived the sweet smell took me to my home town Tlaquepaque. The service is very welcoming and friendly. Very humble and nice persons attending the business. We had the Panzon churros filled with Cajeta and powder with the traditional cinnamon sugar for churros.
