I went here for the first time with a date and was pretty impressed. We showed up around 8:15 on a Thursday night and were told that it was a 45 minute wait for a table. We grabbed a couple of beers from the bar and stood out front to wait. The hostess probably called us within 20 minutes for our table, which made me happy considering that I was pretty hungry at this point. We got a table on the roof, which seemed a bit risky with some rainclouds hovering nearby, but we were happy to see that there are a bunch of umbrellas over the tables up there. The ambience is really great and was probably one of my favorite parts, although maybe everyone wouldn't like it. Our waitress did a great job explaining the menu and throwing out a few recommendations. We ended up going with an order of the corn (get it! It is so good) and an order of tacos each. I had the vegetarian tacos, which were good but nothing to get too excited about. The corn, I will repeat, is probably worth a visit in itself. It is grilled, smothered in creamy butter, feta cheese, and cilantro. Pretty decadent. Our food took a long time to come out, and the corn came with the tacos, even though we requested to have it first. I probably would have been a bit annoyed but I was having a good time, and our server checked in with us about the wait. It was pretty busy. The portions are kind of small, but the quality is good, and the prices are low-ish, so you can always order a second round of tacos if you're still hungry! After our food we each got another drink. My date got the strawberry habanero margarita (spicy, and good) and I got the ginger/gin/bourbon concoction, which tasted like ginger soda but was definitely strong. We sat around and talked for probably longer than we should have, and no one gave us a hard time or seemed annoyed. I will be stopping in again and this is probably even a place that I would bring guests from out of town. read more

Love the soda flavors...but $2.50 for a glass filled with ice is a lot. Three pulls on the straw and you're done. Guacamole is good...but lose the avocado pit. Not even sure why it's in there. To be rustic? Not when it takes up so much room. To prevent browning? How long is it sitting there that you're worried about it browning?? Tacos: asada is tasty, al pastor reminds me of my mom's taco seasoning (not good), and the calabacita is ruined by a lack of seasoning. Vegetarian torta...a real stomach bomb. Too much bread. Chimichangas...another good app. I think this place is great for happy hour, where you can get some decent drinks and beers, some reasonably priced snacks, and enjoy the afternoon sunlight. But for dinner, I just don't think it's worth it. P.S. Servers, would it kill you to smile? read more

My dining experiences in Columbia Heights have been a-okay, not amazing...until now! Yes, that's despite trying Pho 14, loved by all. Then Suzy D told me about El Chucho, a new restaurant that serves Mexican street fare. Being a former Californian, Suzy knew her Mexican and gave Chucho her mark of approval, so I had to try it. Plus, Mexican street snacks? So intriguing. This past Friday I visited with Tom N and shared the calabacita tacos, the all-vegetable torta, the grilled corn with a cheesy sauce and queso. Loved everything! If you think queso will come out resembling that stuff like the "liquid gold" commercials, wrong! It's fried cheese with an exotic tasting sauce to accompany it. The flavors were so unfamiliar I couldn't even begin to guess what was used, except perhaps some milder pepper. Delicious! The calabacita tacos had great texture and flavor, as well. The cheesy sauce on top of the corn reminded Tom of Cheetos...Hmmm, I guess I could see that. Either way, sooooooo good. Not to be missed. The one thing you could skip is the torta. The bread is pretty thick so while it was bursting with ingredients, it still needed to be more aggressively seasoned to give enough of a punch. Also don't forget to get a drink. They have a good selection of brews. Especially memorable was the agua al fresco de jamaica, a non-alcoholic hibiscus tea. Very, very good and perfect on a sweltering summer day. As expected, Chucho gets packed pretty quickly, but there won't be any wait, or a short wait, if you sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar is fun! read more

Food was grate very tasty prices are good happy hour All day on Monday ! nice environment, we order elotes tacos enchiladas guacamole churros quesadillas everything was delicious but to be honest I'm sad I have to do give 4 stars rate to the place just because they have a very rude waitress that needs to work her attitude other than that I really recommend this place read more

Carnitas (pork) tacos are good. Guacamole is good too, real fresh. However, the chicken and steak tacos were all wrong. Texture of the meat was odd and flavors were even worse. As most places in DC, they try to be trendy which often screws them in the long haul. The margarita I ordered was Strawberry, only to taste it and find that it was Strawberry-Habanero. Now, at first, this sounds intriguing until you taste it. There was no strawberry taste, so you're basically drinking a spicy Slurpee. Not cute nor delicious. Sometimes, less is more, El Chuco read more

It pains me to say it, but I think El Chucho is going down hill. When I first discovered it (two years ago), it was such a fantastic find. I loved introducing people to it, loved the food, definitely loved the margaritas. I didn't even care that it was tiny and it was hard to get a table--in fact it added to the appeal. When the front windows are opened up, it has a fantastic ambiance that really transports you out of DC. But I've notice the last three times I've gone, I've been less and less satisfied every time. The drinks don't seem as strong and the food isn't as good. Part of my irritation is that the menu does. not. change. I know that's not a requirement, but El Chucho seems like the kind of place that would. There are no seasonal dishes, no new inventive tacos. Their menu is small as is, and after two years, there is nothing really bringing me back. Not to mention, the last time I was there the salsa straight up sucked. Like, my dining companion and I were both like "Some tostidos salsa from a jar would be better than this," and my chips were stale and unsalted. I really wish El Chucho wouldn't just rest on its current success and would update their menu. I like their style a lot and I feel like the kitchen has more to show, but right now I feel like it's just getting a little lazy. read more

Every few months I will forget my previous experience at El Chucho, convince myself it's great, and make the 5 minute walk from my apartment to the 11th Street NW Mexican joint. Within minutes of arriving, I am always reminded why it took me several months to make my way back. Once, the staff asked us not to order much because they were ready to go home. It was 8:30pm and they don't close until 2:00am. Another time, I took my visiting family for a quick, inexpensive meal. We were seated upstairs. My grandmother shrieked in horror as a mouse crawled from under our table and scurried down the steps. Our server laughed when we told him. Most recently, my boyfriend and I were craving tacos and margaritas and decided to walk over. We ordered chips and salsa, 2 margaritas, asada tacos, and the calabacita tacos. Thirty minutes later nothing had arrived. Our server let us know their server was down. Forty-five minutes after sitting down, they brought us margaritas. After an hour, they brought us chips and salsa. And finally the tacos. No apology. No discount on any item. The only thing we received was a server who couldn't stop complaining about how stressed he was. I have been a server. I know the job can be horrible and stressful and you have zero control over the kitchen. I know that you cannot give things away for free because you do not control this. But how hard is it to put some chips in a basket? We repeatedly asked for him to bring SOMETHING, ANYTHING. Nothing was brought, not even an apology for the terrible service. I am giving El Chucho 2 stars because the food is decent. The tacos are good, but uninspired. They are mostly meat and onions. The Cemita Classica is awful and has extremely dry chicken. The Elote Callejero is delicious, but I think if you put that much mayonnaise and cheese on a rock it would be delicious. From now on I will make a slightly longer walk to any other taco joint, including Pica Taco, Taqueria Distrito Federal, Tacos El Chilango, or Taqueria Nacional. All of which have better service, better food, and better prices than El Chucho. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and head for these other great restaurants. read more

It's a little expensive for tacos in the area, but their happy hour is stellar when it goes all night on Mondays. $5 guacamole - super fresh and a lot of it - pretty much the perfect guac to chips ratio, which is really hard to get right, and it comes with a little side of salsa, too. The tacos come two to an order ($3-4) - the vegetable one was nice and rustic. Excellent margaritas on tap with a choice of salt for the rim for $4, which is an awesome deal. There's a little outdoor area, and prime seating in the window - seats on either side of the big open window. You can catch some breezes if you sit at the bar, too. It got pretty crowded by 9 for a Monday, and the acoustics inside seem to really amplify noise. I can only imagine it'd get deafening inside on a really packed night. read more

Not a big fan. Have been here a bunch of times after bocce games for drinks and food and I never leave feeling like I had anything extraordinary. I give it the 2 star slam because -- with some many other places within spitting distance -- it'd be a real shame if you came here instead of trying one of them (Red Rocks or Kangaroo, specifically). I guess the food used to be really good but having only tried Chucho about 6 months ago, I can't see it. Tacos are bland, drinks nothing special, housemade 'sodas' are overpriced, service is mediocre. About the only thing I like is the front patio's indoor/outdoor bar, but even that can be an awkward seating arrangement. In the end, it's okay if the weather is good and they're running a Happy Hour to pop in for a drink, but get dinner somewhere else in Columbia Heights if that's your goal. read more

Yes, the corn was great! Buttery and a hint of saltiness from sprinkles of Mexican cheese... So addictive. The best part at El Chucho was a great flavor of the food and cute rooftop dining area. Rooftop isn't open air roof top so you won't get to hang out to look over DC or have a drink with view. So it's more like dining area on the top floor... I liked my shrimp dish (came with drizzles of avocado sauce and grilled peppers/onions) and frozen margaritas. Portions are not big, compared to other Mexican/Latin American restaurants like Guapos Should go back for more during happy hour! PS: No happy hour on the weekend. read more

We're been waiting for El Chucho to open for a long time. Why? First, the name is cute (el chucho means dog in Central American slang). Second, the concept of real Mexican street food, with a menu pulled together by a real Mexican chef, sounded pretty enticing. El Chucho was really packed when we went -- 45+ minute wait for a table for 2 and pretty crowded. Hopefully that was because it was the day before a holiday and the crowds will dissapate as the novelty wears off. Despite the craziness, the staff were incredibly friendly and handled the situation very well. Jackie, one of the owners, came up to us and apologized several times for the long wait. Our favorite dish was the torta ahogada (basically, a drowned sandwich) filled with pulled marinated pork and drowned in chile de arbol salsa. I've been craving it since we had it last week. I also liked the huaraches con mole - fried tortillas smothered with cheese and accompanied with mole sauce. We also got the beef and the chicken tacos. The tacos are pretty small. We liked the beef ones better than the chicken - they were juicier. The chicken ones had a nice salsa on top but not enough of it. I think I like the tacos at places like District Taco (for simple tacos) and El Centro DF or Oyamel (for fancier tacos) better. Our friends who we ran into right before going in also recommended the flautas. The margaritas were good too and not too pricey ($5-7, depending on which one you order). You can get them with chili salt, which is another bonus. Overall, I liked this place and would like to go back and try other things. The corn, on the cobb, for example looked really good and so did the squash blossom tacos. read more

Great tacos (al pastor, carne asada, chicken, fish) and wonderful tequila and mezcal selection. The chips and guac are delicious and, if cocktails are your thing, they have a lot of interesting ones. Finally, their brunch is a can't miss, and they have a lot of open space upstairs and a little downstairs by the bar if you want to enjoy the summer air. read more

El Chucho - Beer with a shot of habenero tequila. Pretty delicious. - Mexican Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

Great service, tacos, and drinks. The calabacitas taco is amazing! Squash blossoms and zuchinni. The carne asada is solid, but nothing to write home about. The service is fast and really nice/chill. This is a no frills place, perfect for a relaxing happy hour or friday/saturday night. The margaritas are good - go for the classic. I wasn't a fan of the blood orange marg, but it was interesting. The beer on tap and bottles are great. Everyone was ordering the street corn, it looked pretty baller. My friend ordered a torta and it was very, very big and pretty tasty/ingredient-filled. The prices are really fair! I'll be back. read more

After hearing about this spot a million times from a friend of mine, i finally went with her to see what all the hype was about. It was 3 pm on a Sunday and we had to put a name and number down as there was a short wait--fifteen minutes, the hostess said. However, 30 minutes later, no one had called us, so I went to see what was up. The hostess has just crossed off my name without even calling, and I had been standing TWO FEET from her the entire time. When I spoke up, she offered to seat us, saying "you'll probably have to wait a while because the servers are slow." Uh, half the tables were empty, so I guess their waiters are just crappy? Thankfully we got a seat on the rooftop (beautiful) and didn't have to wait too long to order drinks. I had the Palmaro (?) refresher and it was delicious; my friend enjoyed the blackberry margarita as well. We both liked the fish tacos, al pastor tacos, and the salsa was so delish! I thought it was a pretty cheap place, but our order ended up being close to $55 for two people for lunch (surprise! they added a gratuity without letting us know). Also, a "spiked" soda is $10; you may as well just have a cocktail for the same price... told; delicious food, meh service. It's loud, and better for a quick happy hour sort of thing than a leisurely meal. read more

God. This place. Just... so many good things happening here. Happy hour: $2.50 corn on the cob deliciousness. Don't even try to get me to recall everyone on it, just order it. $3 tacos - the pastor (pork) and chicken (pollo) are both delicious and very filling. The order comes with two open face tacos with two corn tortillas each. Thirsty?? Try the strawberry jabanero margarita - so good (and the chili salt adds a kick without being too spicy). read more

It's the neighborhood taqueria - there's a wait on those warm nights but when you want a marg and taco in the heights, it's the spot to go. I love it for a date or a girl's night out. Their fish tacos (or any) are on point - and I love their jalepeno marg. I've also had a seasonal cocktail of theirs and seen that other people do tequila shots. It's got a great vibe when you come inside as well as a roof. There are tons of places nearby to grab a drink if you do have to wait! read more

This review is for Happy Hour***** Would give 3.5 stars*** Alright, I know it's probably not authentic Mexican food, but I didn't care. I wasn't expecting it to be when my coworkers and I went there for happy hour. I was just hoping for a margarita. Well the margaritas were not just ok, they were delicious and I was pleasantly surprised. They make the margarita mix from scratch and they don't use sour mix. And then they have an additional treat. In addition to salt or sugar, they make a chili lime salt too. I was a little hesitant but it worked. The glasses were small though, that's probably how they get you to buy more. We sat upstairs on their rooftop which you think wouldn't be so great in the DC heat but it wasn't that bad (the fan they had going helped)! They have decent happy hour prices for a Mexican place, I think. They have chips and salsa for $1.00 but then at other places I can get chips and salsa for free.. Not bad overall read more

Happy hour here is great! It goes until 6:30. $1 gets you chips and salsa and $5 gets you chips and guac (a decent portion). $3 gets you two tacos-- I tried all three and liked the squash the best, but the pork is pretty good also. The chicken is eh. I love corn in any form, so ordering the cheesy corn was a must. I loved it! It's definitely a different way to approach it. They have an interesting selection of sodas, which are not too sweet. We tried the ginger lemongrass, the blackberry poblano and the coconut lime-- all very true to their flavors and enjoyable. read more

I was so excited for El Chucho to open. But the food's just not that good. My husband ordered a beef special that our waitress said was "SO GOOD." She later came and asked, "ISNT IT AMAZING?!" No, it really was not.... My torta was basically just bread with a scant smearing of fillings. And it tasted like... stale puffy bread. The drinks were decent, but pricey. The reason why they get that second star is because the elote was pretty good and I would eat that again. But honestly, with so many great places on 11th Street (with better food, better drinks, and better atmosphere), why bother? Note: I guess you could argue that we should have ordered tacos instead, but given El Chucho's poor showing, I think I'll stick with my SuperTacos delivery guy for tacos that cost $2.75 each and taste delicious every time. read more

I'm sad to say that El Chucho fell off their game in the 4-5 years since I was a regular here. The food was not great and maybe even a little gross. The al pastor tacos looked like cafeteria sloppy joes. The agua frescas were overly sweet and tasted like they came out of a can. The waiter said they couldn't split a tab in two. I wouldn't come back or recommend until they step their quality and customer service game up. read more

This place is OK but overpriced. I agree 100% with what shannon e. says: "I was a bit disappointed by this spot given all the buzz. Went with a friend some random weekend July 2012, finally seated on the rooftop after a 45min wait, place was packed. This place screams gentrified DC, so probably will be popular for a while." It was Mexican food, so there is a finite level of quality and they were definitely charging for the atmosphere. I paid $43 for 2 ears of corn, one sandwich, 4 tacos and chips and gauc. The corn and guac were tasty but everything else was 'meh'. When this place develops a steady neighborhood clientele the food will likely drop in quality even more so go...while you can? If not, you're not missing that much. read more

Decent. The vegetable tacos were good. The interior is trendy-looking. I wish the menu were bigger and that it had more expansive vegan options. read more

I was going to give El Chucho a 4 because I think the food could be improved a little bit (no salt on the chips, salsa did not taste house-made, drinks I had were mediocre) but the elote, coconut flan and the wonderful service pushed the review to the 5-star territory. Great atmosphere to hang out with friends. read more

Very disappointed about my first time experience at el chucho. A friend chef of mine recommend the place because they are known for great tacos. As soon as I arrived to the restaurant I wasn't greeted I had to ask to be seated. Once seated server told my friend to go around the table a different way and to not touch or move the tables which is rude to even say because he was trying to squeeze into the corner table we got. Once we sat we had had to ask for menus. We placed our order and started off with the corn we politely asked for a couple of serving plates because we were sharing everything we order. The food runner person who was also the person who sat us replied back saying "you don't need serving plates for corn " extremely rude to even reply with an answer like that and of course he didn't get plates for us. After that another girl server comes by and drops off our food we ask for plates and she turns around and goes straight to the guy who didn't get us plates they whisper in each other's s ears and laugh! As she approaches with a fake smile I ask for my check. I did speak with a manager and he assured me everything was fine but it wasn't. I did try their corn and one taco and they were ok the rest of the food I left and paid my check! Vibe killer for sure. It's very disappointed because I waisted my time and money but not just that my energy. When I go out to eat I expect a good time but this place is not the case they have no customer service. I suggest getting a drive thru window because I would never step back into a place like that. Especially with the type of serves they offer! read more

Our drinks were great. The guacamole tasted great... until I bit down on a piece of ceramic the size of my pinky nail. Let me tell you, there is nothing like biting down on something like that. I thought my tooth was going to chip. We alerted our server who looked at the chunk of ceramic and removed the guac from the table. It took a while, but he brought another round of guac and apologized. I couldn't eat it, but the rest of our party did before we asked for the check. The check came and we were charged for the guac. I didn't expect to get a free meal, but at least take the $6 off for the guacamole! We never heard from a manager either, which our table found odd. My friend took the check to try find a manager, but couldn't locate one. He found the server and asked about the check, but didn't get a straight-forward answer. Instead, the server told him where the ceramic might have come from (a broken plate) and that the chef was alerted of the mishap. The server came back to the table one last time, apologized to me and said "I hope you give us another chance and have a better experience next time." The whole situation was handled so strangely and unprofessionally. I will not be going back. read more

A welcome addition to the 11th Street corridor, which is now seeing more and more restaurants pop up, El Chucho brings its own style and a unique atmosphere. I love what they've done with the place, from the outside facade all the way to the rooftop. Seating is a bit close and yes, it's LOUD in here, but somehow it's still totally manageable to have a conversation across a table with someone despite the proximity of a bunch of other people all around you. I've only eaten here once so far, though I imagine I'll be back again in the near enough future. Service started off great - helpful, with smiles, and attentive. Then we lost her about half-way through the meal, and had to flag her down to let he know that some ordered items never came (our drinks), then flag her down again for the check. My favorite taco was, by far, the pollo. The asada came in second, and the al pastor didn't do it for me at all. The queso frito is just a fried lump of cheese, which is heavenly for some and an easy pass for others. read more

Mexican-style grilled street corn. This is a must, no matter where I go. If it's on the menu, I want it. Tacos are tiny and need a kick of hot sauce (you have to ask for it, but WHY?) Our waitress was very kind and the hostess even asked two couples to move so our four-top could sit and eat (it was 11:30 and we hadn't eaten dinner yet, we were totally delirious and I think she could tell). Margaritas weren't too sweet, and not badly priced at $5. Overall it was a fine experience, but I have a feeling there's better Mexican to be eaten in DC. read more

Love this Columbia Heights locale for its rooftoop & the happy hour specials! House margs are $5, flavored margs are $6 and tacos are 2 for $3! I've been here twice for food and found it to be "meh" both times. The tacos al pastor leave MUCH to be desired. The meat is more finely ground than your usual taco al pastor - more like a ground beef taco texture than a fresh off the skewer pastor taco texture. The tacos are fairly small and don't pack a ton of flavor. I wouldn't pay full price for them, but for $1.50 per taco during happy hour, it's not a bad deal to soak up some tequila! I also tried the chips & guac - a fairly small portion of both served with a small side of salsa. Again, not a bad deal for happy hour ($6), but lacking in flavor and portion size. The strawberry habanero with chili salt margarita is unique and DELICIOUS. The sweet-spicy combo is a perfect way to enjoy a summer evening. Unfortunately on my last visit, service was somewhat lacking. Our waiter served us the swirl margarita both times when we both ordered the strawberry habanero. The second time, we tried to get his attention for 10 minutes, before giving up and just settling for the swirl. It took us awhile to get the bill and our water glasses unfilled often. There is indoor and outdoor seating (upstairs terrace and small patio out front), but not many seats, so come early! read more

Always wondered why more people didn't try to replicate baja street food in the States. Very happy this place is down the street from me. Nicely priced margaritas and good cross section of food. Place was packed, but the staff handled it masterfully. Tasty, spicy salsa in an ample bowl. Such a pet peeve when only a small container half filled with water is declared as salsa and served with chips. Not the case at Chucho. Rich and tangy salsa. Had the flautas, which were excellent and the little tacos were sensational. Nothing quite like the scent of warm fresh corn tacos wafting through the air on a humid, stormy summer night. I usually expect to drop $15-$17 for a good bar meal and brew. This cost $23. There was clearly some craft in the food, but $23 is pretty steep for street food and a Corona. But looking at the crowds in El Chucho, I'm clearly in the minority. Regardless, it's delicious stuff. read more

There are some definitely positives and some definite negatives about the place. I like that they opened up in a spot that otherwise wasn't going to be anything special. I like to support local businesses, so my husband and I made it a point to visit sooner rather than later (not that they need it, the place was packed!). I don't really have a problem with waiting for a table: a) it's DC; b) I'm perfectly happy to chill at the bar and get a drink while I wait. The wait wasn't too bad, and the hostess was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good, but needs a little bit more to get more stars. As someone else said, for $8 when I get guacamole I don't generally expect to look around for the other half of my order. Including the pits to keep it from turning brown not only isn't effective, it makes it seems like they are including more food than they are. Taste wise it was good, but I've had better for cheaper. Lemon juice is a smaller, more effective way of anti-browning. I got the hotdog with pork belly and the husband got the torta ahogada. Mine was good but had a TON of VERY horseradishy mustard. Clear sinuses? Check. Maybe ask for it on the side, I couldn't taste the rest of the food very well. His was good. Margaritas were tasty. All in all, it was decent, but pricey, and isn't a place that I would race to go back to. Also--to the guy who wants to say that people shouldn't be food critics on Yelp, perhaps he should review the purpose of Yelp in the first place. The website would be a lot less useful if we all just wrote about the weather. read more

I've now been here twice -- Once for lunch and once for brunch. We had good experiences both times. There's not a huge selection on the menu... just tacos and sandwiches and a couple apps, but what they do, they do well. The corn on the cob is great and salty and creamy. The tacos are good. I'd stick with the pork and beef. We tried all of them and those two were the best. Order hot sauce for the side. We also had the sandwich - it's the first one on the menu and that was fantastic! It was messy and came with rubber gloves and was meaty and all things great. We shared it between 4 people which was perfect. The real stand out here was the drinks. The blueberry poblano margarita was smoky and spicy and sweet but not in an overwhelming way. The $5 house margarita was also fantastic and a great value for the price. Go with the chili lime salt. read more

Happy hour at El Chucho is quite excellent. I came on a Monday night for the all night happy hour with my roommates. During happy hour the food and drinks are all around $5 with a few cheaper options. The street style corn is a popular choice and goes perfectly with the house margaritas. They offer several flavored salts with the drinks. Other happy hour food includes guac and tacos. Our waitress was speedy and made paying at the end really easy even though there was 7 of us. Two friends and I stopped into El Chucho on a Saturday afternoon and had quite a different experience. We stopped in around 4pm having not eaten lunch and the restaurant was fairly empty. House margaritas are $5 all the time which is a great deal so I partook in that. The kitchen lost our order so after about 45 minutes our waitress came by to let us know why there had been such a delay. It would have been nice if they had offered some complimentary chips and salsa or something, but alas we were left very hungry and without food. The very tiny fish tacos I had were tasty, $7 and certainly not enough food for a meal. I would recommend ordering two orders of tacos if you are moderately hungry or even two orders of tacos and an appetizer. The atmosphere is really great. The outside patio downstairs is right in the middle of all the 11th street fun and the upstairs patio has a great vibe. The food is really good here, but I think I'll stick to happy hour for the cheaper prices. read more

Three stars and I am being generous. The drinks were pretty good. Avoid the tiny Queso Oaxacaqueño frito, small and it tastes like mozzarella sticks from a dive bar. The pollo and asada tacos were good, nice spice to them, but at $6 and $5 for two tacos and with some fatty parts on the beef, theyre over priced. The guacamole didn't look good at all. The torta ahogada was mediocre according to my friend, hotdog with a lot of mayo and some chorizo. Staff was great and the drinks are good but pricey.
