Birria Tacos. And Alambre Cazador

If you can't find something you like on this menu then you should take a hard look at yourself. It's massive. Very unique food choices and things I've not seen in other mex restaurants. My daughter was surprised to see birria tacos on the menu which were amazing and I had the alambre Cazador which was very flavorful. Service was great and margaritas were very good. a little sweet for my liking but came with a lime and orange slice, which was a great twist. Good salsa too! I'm from out of state, and driving through Ohio. Saw the good reviews on Yelp. We went a little out of our way to get here but well worth it. Also it's located on the side of a strip mall and there is no sign for it on the business sign posts on the road side. But is super clean and colorful inside and the staff was very attentive and nice. Will be stopping in again when I drive through.

There is a reason why I'll be one of many five star reviews. Five stars. Full stop. Buried in a strip mall near the Lima Ohio DMV, this gem has some of the best service and food you'll find in the Buckeye State. Seafood fajita's come packed with a sizzling plate of flavor. Heated up tortillas and a plate of sides. Endless chips and salsa. Slam dunk prices. Any time we visit family in Lima, we make El Cazador a priority. Have gone more than half a dozen times since it opened, have never been let down. Consistently top marks across the board. Clean establishment too. So stop reading. Go to there now. Order anything on the menu. Satisfy your belly. I said now!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in lima I come here all the time and they have a lot of wonderful items on the menu to include some of my favorites barria tacos, fajapina and the fajita quesadillas. If your in town and want some good food definitely stop in and check them out. Ask for Kevin if he's working

Definitely a hidden gem in Lima, OH. I choose based on the good reviews, though when we got there the strip mall location and somewhat dingy outside appearance caused me to reconsider. The inside, however, was immaculate and the staff was very friendly. The beer was cold, salsa was full of flavor, and the entrees were excellent. I ordered shrimp tacos- fresh pico, generous amount of avocado, and three big tacos means one leftover for a midnight snack.

enchiladas

EXCELLENT!!! They brought us complimentary chips and salsa which tasted fresh and delicious. They also brought me some of their homemade hot sauce, as well. I love homemade hot sauces and their did not disappoint with great heat and flavor. For dinner, I had the beef fajitas and my husband had the pork chimichangas. It was served quickly and was hot. The chimichangas came in a set of two and the plate was huge and served with rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. The fajitas were HUGE!!! The seasonings on the beef, peppers and onions was delicious! The peppers and onions were cooked perfectly to be tender but not burnt or mushy. The fajitas were also served with flour or corn tortillas, rice and beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. They thoughtfully offered more tortillas when I had eaten the three that they had served with the meal. There were two gentleman who worked together to be very attentive to our needs throughout dinner. We were greeted immediately when we walked in. We were quickly offered a second basket of chips when we finished our first. And our waters were empty for more than a few moments. The restaurant's atmosphere was bright, festive and welcoming with comfortable booths and tables. Thoughtfully, they have two TVs in case anyone wanted to be able to watch the game while out to dinner with the family. And the bathroom's cleanliness was very impressive to me for a small restaurant. We had a very filling dinner for $25.00. Definitely check this place out!!! You will not be disappointed.

Best Mexican food in Lima.... by far! Don't judge a book by its cover. The traditional dishes are fantastic.

Great food. Not sure the margarita is up to my standards, but the food made up for it.

Very solid Mexican joint. Good food and clean. Visit wasn't flawless, but you can tell they care about their customers.

I used to LOVE this place. I heard it had new owners so I was hesitant to go. I tried it again and…read morethe service wasn't great. The girl taking orders was not very friendly, wore gloves, but touched EVERYTHING after she spooned it into the bowl. Looked like the gloves hadn't been changed for a long time. She seemed annoyed that they were busy and had a line of customers. The assembly line was very messy *yes they were busy* but they made no attempt to keep the line clean. The girl at checkout seemed annoyed that she was working and didn't even tell me my total owed, just pointed to the screen. The guacamole was delicious, but my bowl with chicken was beyond salty. I couldn't eat it because it was over the top salty. Things have definitely changed and I was very disappointed with my visit and the food

Most of the time when you order this it is a white queso with some chorrizo, pico, and other veggies in a deep dish. Here, it was kind of that, but it came on a cast iron plate with a good mound of pico, chorrizo, and veggies on it, but the shallow plate toasted the cheese and kept everything hot. The flour tortillas were good. Be sure to scrape the toasted cheese off the bottom of the pan. My wife had the #9 combo. It had a flauta, chili relleno, and a quesadilla with shredded beef. The flauta was, of course, fried, but the chicken was overdone, bordering on burned. The chile relleno was not a poblano pepper stuffed with cheese, dipped in batter and fried, which she expected having grown up in El Paso, but looked to be a green bell pepper covered in cheese. I had the steak burrito supreme. (Normally, when I think "Burrito Supreme" I think of Taco Bell, and this was much better, of course.) The sauce was very good and the charro beans were good as well. Pam had a strawberry daiquiri, and I had a margarita. Both were very tasty and a good strength. It was our first time there. We'll be back to try some of the other offerings, but we'll almost certainly get the queso.
