While the cost of the order was modest, the primary issue was the way the situation was handled. The response we received felt dismissive and unprofessional, as though the error was our fault rather than a service issue. For future improvement, I recommend contacting customers when items are unavailable to offer substitutions, as well as ensuring a more courteous and solution-oriented approach when addressing order issues.
