    Churassco, "fries," and plantains
    Derek B.

Unfortunately, my wife was hurrying and didn't think about reading the reviews prior. My wife ordered churassco, fries, and plantains for me and ceviche for herself. The churassco was overly cooked and hard to chew, the fries came as rice that she never ordered, but at least the plantain tasted like plantain...so that's a win. No sauces were given to us for the steak so it was simply those three items. My wife ate a little of the ceviche and began to become nauseous so she stopped eating it. Instead of spending your money here, go elsewhere.

I am always open to find a nice Cuban restaurant when I am in South Florida. No Frills just a local restaurant with nice service nice atmosphere and great breakfast.!

Roast pork with rice, black beans and sweet plantains. I also had Cuban coffee and all was wonderful.

Food, service and ambulance was really good. The price was in line with all! Open air dining experience took me to a relaxing place.

The staff is friendly, the food is really good, and it comes out quickly. El Bohio opened in 1997. The casual restaurant is still owned by the original owners. I have only used takeout so I don't know if the covered seating is the only area to eat or if there's indoor dining. This restaurant is a local hangout. If you want authentic Cuban food and coffee, definitely try it.

So we hit this joint kind of in between breakfast & lunch at about 11:25 am or so ... this Wednesday the place was empty ... Sat out in their outside dining room real cool with the Cuban music playing & baby palm trees looking out ... Nice & friendly service .... the food was good, I had their Cuban & my nephew had their burger ... both lunch specials ... total bill without tip $19.00 not bad both specIals came with fries & a soda .... I heard their coffee is very good as well ... next time we will give it try ... Greg D & family

I came across this cute little cuban outdoor cafe. So, I decided to give it a try. I had a simple thin cut steak with white rice and beans. Wished I would have more adventurous when ordering as they have a great selection of authentic cuban dishes. Loved the ambiance and all their authentic cuban decor. The most appealing features, however, are open-air dining room and the very attentive young man waiting the tables. Overall, i had a very relaxing and pleasant lunch and delicious cuban cafe. I'll definitely be trying other menu items next time I'm in the area.

I bought chicken for my 6 year old. Completely unacceptable. Good thing I cut into before he started eating it.

Steak albeit to go does it no justice

Consistently great Cuban food. Authentic! It's always a nice stop. No pretense. It's as if you were in Havana. Enjoy!

I wish I could write a better review and I will chock my experience up to the fact that they were really busy and I did get the last steak sandwich they had so maybe that's why it wasn't so great. I ordered the steak chimichurri sandwich and the jalapeño poppers to share. The guys running the truck were super nice and even brought me my food when it was ready. The first thing I noticed wrong was the bread. It was flat and hard like a cracker. Not soft like I had expected and it was more stale than anything. Not like a pressed Cuban sandwich either, just flat and hard and impossible to eat. I asked for extra chimichurri and I didn't get it but no big deal. I decided to just eat the steak and peppers off of the sandwich instead. The steak was cooked perfectly but it lacked flavor. It was ok I ate it and added a little salt but nothing great. The poppers were ok. Not really spicy and a bit greasy. I would give this food truck another chance because I saw people eating other items offered and they seemed pretty happy so maybe I just got unlucky this time.

Caribbean Cowboy Food Truck totally blew my expectations out of the water. Initially, I wasn't too…read morehungry, but once I had a taste of the Shrimp Tarragon Sliders, I finished the entire plate. The shrimp was sautéed in tarragon butter, cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. The rolls were sweet and complimented the shrimp perfectly. I love that it was made with simple ingredients that were light and healthy (no mayo or sauces all over it). Don't even get me started on the fresh out of the fryer fries. Fresh and so good. The menu has a great variety of options from Cuban sandwiches, burgers, shrimp, chicken and steak. And the CC Food Truck team are some incredible people who have a great passion for what they do. That passion and devotion shines through in their delicious food and awesome service. Now, what to try next?... Yum.
