Great food and excellent service ! I keep coming back every time I am in Boca Raton. Always a consistently wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Saw the sign, decided to stop.... Definitely NOT disappointed!! We had the sampler platter and everything was delicious. Not a lot of seasonings, but they had several sauces for dipping. Everything was hot and fresh and we can't wait to go back for more.

I visited this restaurant several years ago and the service/food was terrible. I decided to give them another chance. I don't know if it's under new management or they hired new staff but the service and food was really good. I was greeted when I walked in and the lady took my order right away. The food was delicious! Happy they improved. I will visit again.

Don't sleep on this unassuming location in a strip mall - this place had authentic, delicious Venezuelan food at amazing prices! All of the staff here is so nice and the menus are in English and Spanish online. Everything is made fresh to order.

Nice little spot. I love these fried plantains, thinly fried. The food is tasty. Coffee is always perfect; nice and strong. Due to covid they started using paper products (not a big fan but I do understand). You order and pay at the window and sit in if you choose to. They did some remodeling but less inside seating. The ladies who work there are very nice and they are always asking and making sure that you're happy with everything.

¡Sí, sí, sí! While we were driving around checking out some barber shops in the plaza, two Hispanic restaurants caught my eye! We went in to get a snack & ended up taking a mini-lunch to go! I chose the La llanera arepa and Sal decided to get the La Vemex arepa! We also got two drinks: jugo de guanábana (guava juice) and lemonade. I really enjoyed my arepa, it was super delicious! It was nice and hot, just how food like that should be! The sauces that came with it were good, the green ones which seemed like a salsa verde and the other being something of an avocado crema background. The white one I believe was cilantro garlic, which I preferred! The juices were good, he loved the lemonade and the guava juice was tasty! The guava juice had pulp which was to my liking, I'm a pulp kind of gal! Only con is that it was a bit pricey, those 4 items cost me over $20 not including tip. However, I would still come back because the food was fresh and homemade (OUT HERE SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES :-)) along with good service, the ladies were sweet! Overall, I recommend it and would definitely go back! TIP: They have lunch specials! :-)

Food was great, nice location, however it is too expensive for what it is! They need more English speaking employees!

Nice small Latin themed menu. Arepas are corn cakes of different thicknesses and grilling. I liked my experience.

Our favorite Venezuelan spot! Their empanadas are our favorite. There is usually never a wait. And they are fairly quick.

Their patacones are absolutely the best, my favorite is with "plátano maduro", packed with flavor. But that's not all - their Arepas cabimeras are equally impressive, a perfect blend of savory goodness. If you haven't try Chicha this is the place, you will love it. What sets this place apart, aside from the amazing food, is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. Whether you choose to dine in and enjoy the cozy ambiance or opt for the convenience of delivery, you're guaranteed a fantastic experience. For sure the best spot to try Venezuelan food in Boca Raton - I highly recommend it!

The food? A solid 5. The service? Maybe a 3 on a good day…read more When I went to check out, I noticed the prices on my bill were higher than what was listed on the menu. I asked for an itemized receipt, and sure enough, some items had been rung up differently. The person at the counter explained that they recently started using Uber Eats, and the upcharged prices were only meant to be for people ordering from Uber--not in the restaurant. He had to call his manager to fix it, so I waited while they sorted it out. I appreciated that they did correct the issue, but it was a bit confusing. But this part of the experience did feel misleading to customers in general. After paying, the cashier went to the back and didn't return for a while. We weren't offered water or drinks while we waited for the food, and when I tried to get someone's attention from the front desk, no one came. Eventually, someone from the kitchen kindly helped us out--huge thanks to her! The food itself was fantastic, and I'd absolutely come back in hopes that it was just an off day. The space inside felt a little quiet and low-energy, and the young man at the counter didn't seem super enthusiastic--but everyone has those days. All in all, great food with room to grow on the service side. I'll definitely give it another try.

I've driven by El Patio countless times and always said to my husband "we gotta check this place…read moreout". Well we finally did. Once for soup and cappuccino around 2:30 and the last time for an early dinner around 4pm. On both occasions the restaurant was immaculate. And so was the gender less bathroom. The service was efficient and warm, and both servers preferred to speak in Spanish. And that's fine. Their menu shows Mexican dishes as well as Colombian dishes. And then everything else. Our soup the first time was a special. Pumpkin soup right before Halloween. It's a huge bowl and I mean huge not large. It was served hot as requested but was delicious. Our sit down meal was a breaded chicken breast with three - yes - 3 sides! The mashed potatoes were creamy. The yucca was boiled and delicious. We also had a mini chicken empanada in a corn outer. It had a touch of sweetness and was a treat for my tastebuds. I had the broiled salmon in their special sauce. The salmon was prepared closer to well done than any other heat and it was as requested. I'll order that again. Our eyes were bigger than our tummy's because when the chicken soup and veggies came, we asked that it be wrapped to go. There was a 1/4 chicken wing and foot in the container. Again, oversized. At $20+ it could be considered pricey. But once you saw how many ingredients there were and that think of chicken you're feeling it was worth it. We will return without question.
