    Plato de carne asada

Great food! Great prices! Good customer service! I would suggest trying as many items on the menu to see what items you prefer. Ex. Tajaditas con carne molida was a 6/10 for me. Yuca con chicharrón 8/10. Plato de carne asada 9/10. Baleadas are really good 10/10! Frescos naturales 10/10.

I ordered two pupusas on the phone to pick up, it took 20 minutes to make the pupusas and let me tell you IT WAS DELICIOUS!! So so good definitely coming here more often it's close by my house and I can see myself sitting down to eat there after COVID-19 just to get the whole experience.

Huge mixed pupusas, + horchata for $9

I happened to be in the mood for pupusas, looked on Yelp and found this place. I ordered two mixed pupusas, and when they came, they were huge, looked really fresh and the flavors were amazing. I will definitely be back. The price was unbeatable. I liked the little ambiance and it seemed clean.

Sopa de Rez: served with white rice and tortillas. Delicious!

I love this place. My 8years old loves to have lunch EVERY Saturday right after her piano class. This place has been open for many years and everytime i come, I eat super delicious! The waiter is always on top of us making sure we don't need anything. If is your first time here and you are NOT from Honduras, I recommend baleadas for lunch and to drink, Bananita. After that, eat anything!

    All gone :)

I asked for the steak medium, but part of it came out rare -- not even medium rare. The bright spots were the ambiance and the empanadas, which were very good. Unfortunately, the wait staff was pretty horrendous and seemed to go MIA on us for most of the meal. I asked for part of my steak to be put back on the grill, but more than 20 minutes later nothing came back. At that point I figured they had simply forgotten about it. Ironically, the piece of steak I sent back finally showed up right when I had to ask the manager for the bill and told him the waitress had gone missing. And that She never brought the steak back. I was really hoping for a great experience given the restaurant's rating above 4 stars, but it definitely didn't live up to that. The service was absolutely poor. More like a 1.5 is what I rate it.

All of our orders in that group of 13 were correct, hot, fresh, and beyond flavorful. The waitress never made it seem like we were an inconvenience if we needed something, and she was on top of our refills. I have gotten the Carne Asada burrito photo below, I've also got the breakfast quesadilla which is phenomenal, I've gotten Pollo la Plancha, and another chicken dish that is kind of like chicken Parm, but Latino style.

The flavors were rich, comforting, and straight-up authentic. You can taste the love in that food. And let's talk portions... they are NOT playing with you. I had enough leftovers to run it back for dinner later, and it still tasted just as good! The service? Super attentive and welcoming--exactly what you want when you're trying to sit, relax, and enjoy a good meal. And the decor is such a vibe--cute, cozy, and full of personality. Even the restroom had a unique touch... a big pot turned into a sink! Like... come on, that's creative Will I be back? Oh absolutely. Probably next month though, because it's about an hour drive for me--but listen... it's worth it. If you're ever in the area and craving real, authentic Dominican food... don't even think twice. Just go.

However, I know from traveling that some of the best spots are ones that appear to be a hole in the wall. I walked in, very cute inside! Staff was welcoming and I cozied right up at the bar to wait for my friend. I was immediately brought chips and salsa and a cold beer. We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.
