    Arroz Con Pollo

El Asadero is always crowded when we drive by, and we were finally able to give it a try. The inside is huge, basically two separate dining areas. The decor is bright neon and graffiti style. The music is upbeat. It's almost like restaurant meets techno rave. The menu is huge, but sections are broken down by protein to make it a bit more digestible. After lots of debate, we settled on the birria quesadillas and the classic arroz con pollo. The food came out really quick, probably under 10 minutes. The birria quesadillas were out of this world and the consomé broth was delicious. The arroz con pollo was just as expected from a flavor standpoint, but we felt the portion was smaller than we've had at other Mexican restaurants. Luckily, we were able to fill up on the free chips and salsa beforehand so it wasn't a huge deal -- we were just hoping to take some for leftovers! The service was good and we really enjoyed the food. It's a bit on the pricier side for other similar restaurants, but that wouldn't stop us from visiting again.

Fun atmosphere with interesting drink menu. Drinks were well prepared and on the larger size. Chips and salads were good as expected. The table side guacamole was a fun experience. Over all the food was well made but average Mexican food. The venue is fun quite large and well worth a visit

El Asadero in Centerville has awesome vibes. The inside has a lot of room and a large bar. The cucumber margarita was so refreshing and delicious. The Cali burrito was really really good. However I did ask for chicken but they gave me steak - no biggie. Just wish the waiters actually wrote down your order. Cheese dip is great too.

Very unassuming from the outside. First time there got seated quickly on a Saturday 5:30pm waitress Geraldine was fantastic! From the chips & salsa to the drinks and food awesome!! Inside very vibrant and good vibe! Saw the robot which was very entertaining ! It was my husbands bday and they are very great about celebrating your bday! Highly recommend! Great food & drinks.

Know what you are getting into before you go!! This place is loud. There's a light and dance show. There were multiple times during our dinner we had to stop talking because we couldn't hear each other. The decor is cool but it's all designed around the black lights and pumping music and robot dance show. That said, our experience wasn't a lot better. Our server didn't say she was new but she was quite forgetful. The salsa is not homemade or fresh and it's super thick. The cheese sauce was below average. The chips are super thick and we never got a refill. Drinks. A pitcher of margaritas is $32 so I opted for a single $12 one, pictured. I lost a lot of volume with ice. We split the asada fries, pictured. They were good. I could recommend those. Took forever to get our check, probably due to the ongoing dance show. All that for $39. I won't return.

    House margarita

This place has completely ok flavors, which is better than I can say for most other Mexican food places in the area, but the portions are quite small for the price. I'm not sure why a basic house margarita included a fruit salad and a plastic duck. The service was good, but the ambience included a nearby birthday song included a vuvuzela or similar that was really offputting for both volume and shock.

    Steak fajitas - lunch portion

It was so crowded one Friday night the wait was over an hour so I came back at lunchtime. The fajitas were sizzling and tender. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Nothing too fancy, just good food. The atmosphere is neon colors and murals throughout. Sometimes they come out with a noisemaker and snare drum to celebrate occasions for guests and sing happy birthday. When it's crowded this is a LOUD place, so be prepared for that if you come at peak times. Attentive waitstaff and friendly hosts. Will return.

I came in for lunch today. The vibe inside was cool. I loved the colorful murals and the lighting. It would be cool to come in the evening when they are busier. There were hardly any other people. Other reviews mentioned they may have entertainment. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often. The manager also checked in a few times. The food was good. They have some good lunch choices. I would definitely be willing to come back and try a cocktail. Looks like they have a killer cocktail menu.

What an amazing night out with friends. Five star all the way. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious. The entertainment was top notch (We all loved Mickey Mouse). The service was wonderful and the ambiance sets El Asadero apart from other establishments.

Do you want to come for some good food and entertainment!? This is the place! Some days they have dancing robots (people on stilts as robots) and some days they have karaoke! Some days they play a drum and fly out a plane for a birthday patron! They were busy, but did a good job of keeping up with everything! The place was very festive on the inside with paintings/murals and I really liked the vibe/festiveness of it all! Drinks looked really unique and festive as well! It is a small place and gets lots of business- so it is a bit on the noisy side. All in all though it's worth it to go out and have a fun festive time! The salsa was delicious! The food I ordered was also great-and I loved how my burrito came with a fruit salad-it actually paired quite nicely with my burrito! The corn, although a bit pricey for what it is, was also very delicious! I will definitely be back!

    Empanadas
    Alex B.

Not great...I really wanted to like this restaurant but my empanadas lacked flavor. My food tasted like it had been in the oil for far too long because that's all I could taste...old oil. The presentation of the food looked enticing but by the first bite, I was ready for the check. In a few months, I might return to give them another chance but in the meantime, I'll explore other options.

Not a romantic date night restaurant, but really fun for a family dinner, group of friends or a work party. The restaurant changed hands a couple months ago and made changes. We waited for nothing, the service was so fast, friendly and professional! Our food was prepared very well and tasted good. The very large mural and very garnished cocktails added to the festive ambiance! The only reason I didn't add a fifth star was our cocktails. We ordered top shelf Don Julio margaritas, which were ridiculously sweet and light on alcohol. We ordered side shots of Don Julio to try and balance the cocktails, helped a bit. I had a large margarita with an extra shot and left sober. If I liked beer, that's what I would order.

Caveat: Vallarta Mexican Seafood is several rungs above the average Tex-Mex joint in the Greater Dayton Metropolitan Area. We really enjoy Sonora Grill Seafood Steak Bar & Grill, and Vallarta Mexican Seafood merits special attention as well. On our radar: La Poblanita Mexican Market and restaurant. A note on stars; Sonora Grille is on Burkhardt, and in a small strip mall; I am not inclined to award a strip mall restaurant 5 stars; however.... Vallarta Mexican Seafoodis also in a small strip mall with plenty of free parking. Folks inclined to visit and dine at The Greene might go west to visit Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Travel Tip: do check menu Spanish definitions to avoid order errors. We can depend upon Yelp whilst researching: Here are 5 Star Reviews for Vallarta Mexican Seafood. Visiting from Seattle and was looking for some good authentic Mexican cuisine. Found it here! Vallarta Mexican & Seafood... a MUST try for super fresh, delicious, LARGE portion seafood! Amazing service, fantastic portion sizes, and the food was awesome! will definitely be back! Throughout our 60 year relationship, my wife enjoys dessert as an appetizer, and today is no exception. The Churro's are delivered in a flash; we discovered this special treat nearly 50 years ago during an expedition to Spain and Portugal. The very best Churro's were prepared by roadside vendors, and our friends, Bill and Ellen Rose agreed. Neat ambience, and delightful service. Music is Boomer Music.... My wife insisted on MAR Y TIERRA - Mexican Surf and Turf. Grilled chicken, steak and shrimp served with rice, charro beans, sour cream, lettuce and tomatoes - expect a togo box. My son elected QUESADILLA DE ASADA A flour tortilla filled with your choice of grilled meat, stuffed with cheese, grilled bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. Served with rice. And I selected Steak PARRILADAsteak cooked with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. Served with rice, charro beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and flour tortillas - expect a togo box. My wife and daughter both have Celiac, and finding a restaurant that has a proper gluten-free protocol in place is always a challenge. Most of the menu at Sueno is naturally gluten-free, and the kitchen staff has repeatedly proven their ability to properly prepare a safe space for us to dine. The downstairs unisex restrooms were in extremely poor condition. Nearly every stall had aging pocket doors that either would not lock or would not remain closed. After trying multiple stalls, I finally found one with a functioning lock, only to discover urine on the seat, toilet, and floor, along with an overflowing waste bin that suggested the restroom had not been maintained for quite some time. It was genuinely unsanitary. I informed both a server and the manager. To his credit, he apologized and acknowledged that the doors and locks are longstanding issues that need replacement. It's unfortunate, because the restaurant otherwise has the makings of a special dining experience. But when conditions this poor are visible to guests, for me it inevitably raises concerns about overall upkeep. For us, it overshadowed the evening entirely.
