When COD changed their format, their lowest price vendor didn't compare to Romeo. I spoke with a couple of the delivery drivers, and found them really enthusiastic about the firm. After few years now, there's a pattern of a well run, well priced, operation, with a good work force. At least that's how it looks from here.

Slomins has purchased them and it's all changed. Not many know this but as time goes on they will. After being a customer for years they wanted over $100 to read the fuel gauge for a home sale. The people answering the telephone are no longer in the US and are difficult to understand. It's a shame a great company with a reasonably good record was sold off to a mass provider with a history of poor service. Back to COD fuel site for me.

There's also a community puzzle that people can drop by and work on. There's a third party cafe inside that's quite cute and has its own instagram. I was surprised to learn that the cafe hosts open mic nights! There are also a few private study rooms to reserve, but unfortunately they're only available to people who live in bayport bluepoint specifically. I wouldn't mind this, except when I was told this, all the rooms were open. It would be nice to allow others to use the rooms if they're available, and just prioritize bayport blue point residents, which is what my home library does. Tons of resources: plant seed swap, art crafts, and other offerings to be borrowed. Great community hub

I had a really disappointing experience with Clearway Plumbing and Heating and felt completely…read moretaken advantage of. I reached out to Jim about replacing a cracked 5-year-old resin tub and sent multiple photos, details, and even confirmed with the manufacturer that the drain didn't need replacing. I was quoted $1,500 unless something unexpected came up. When Jim and his assistant arrived, they immediately said they couldn't lift the tub due to back issues and it's too heavy. I ended up calling my landscaper, who brought guys over to handle all the heavy lifting--removing the old tub and bringing in the new one. While waiting (for two hours), they sat in my driveway on the phone, smoking and asking me questions about the original installation that any professional should know or assess themselves. It felt very unprofessional. Once the tub was in place (thanks to the guys I hired), Jim essentially just connected the drain with a twist and had his assistant apply silicone--then charged me the full $1,500. I also had to prep the area myself and even clean the tub at the end because he didn't want to "mess it up." They also admitted they'd never worked with this type of tub before, which is something I absolutely should have been told upfront. In the end, I paid full price to Clearway, plus the additional cost for the people who actually did most of the work. I felt uncomfortable, pressured, and honestly ripped off. I would not recommend them.
