Very good pizza place, it was cute for small parties, we came here on vacation and got chicken Alfredo, Hawaiian pizza, barbecue chicken pizza and Canadian bacon with hamburger. Best pizza in the area, hands down. There are a few crust thickness options to choose from--my favorite is the deep dish because their crust is so good. The sauce has got some nice spice to it too. Pretty good pizza - thumbs up! Next up on my list of Hudson eating adventures is EJ's Pizzeria. Once I finally found them (in an industrial area near Fleet Farm), I ordered a ton of food. My meat lover's pizza was very good. It seems to match up with their claim to fame: "Home of the heavy toppings". My hot Italian sub was pretty darn good too. It has the same sauce as the pizzas - yum! My chocolate muffin with cream cheese frosting and caramel drizzle was awesome. I have mixed feelings about the pepperoni fries. There are no potatoes involved whatsoever. Basically, the "fries" are a thin crust pizza with mozzarella & pepperoni...sliced into thin strips. There is no pizza sauce. That comes as a side if you want to dip. Fries? I don't think so. Really, just a pizza. I have to knock them a star for not having the guts and the consideration to open the dining room for limited indoor seating. I know this is their right. But I also have the right to bitch about it. Green Mill Pizza (only one block away) has indoor seating. So does 95% of the restaurants in Hudson. What's the problem with EJ's? I'd go back again. EJs is the best pizza delivery in Hudson, in my opinion. White sauce, red sauce, it's all good. I love their thin crust. I mean, sometimes they put so many toppings on, it can get to be a lot on the thin crust, but that is not a complaint. Also, I needed something commercially prepared to take to a memory care facility for my godmother to share on her 75th birthday during Covid. Their cupcakes were perfect. We placed our order yesterday for 7 pizzas to be delivered today at 1pm. In River Falls. They were very prompt and accommodating. The pizza arrived hot and delicious! We had 22 family members that were extremely satisfied and can't wait to try out the rest of the menus!! Our delivery person was awesome! It was served outside on the deck overlooking the river. I went to EJs for my birthday along with my wife and my in-laws. I have had EJs multiple times and was craving it and my in laws had not tried it yet so it was the perfect opportunity. We got there right as they opened and the staff were very welcoming and kind as they always are. We ordered 3 pizza and some cheese bread and it all came out at fairly decent time , especially since they are short staffed. When they brought out our food they said one of the pizza got stuck and folded a bit and they said they will give us a small take home pizza , which was very kind since the pizzas looked just fine. When the small pizza arrived I took a look at it and noticed a happy birthday message wrote on the inside of the box. I am already craving more EJs pizza but it's always worth the wait. read more

Cheese. Lots of cheese. And it doesn't even have a "cheese-lovers" anywhere in the name. It's Wisconsin, though, and I think cheese is de-facto topping for nearly everything. Works for me. I stopped in to get a to-go pizza. I guess English must not be a commonly spoken pizza language. The menu clearly has only two sizes (a and b). So, I ordered a, and the order-taker looked at me as though I were speaking a foreign language. Having just driven across the border from Minnesota, where I was interacting with natives there, I suppose maybe I was speaking another language because she asked if I wanted size x or y. I pointed to the menu and to the word "a" and she promptly said they don't carry a or b only x or y. Where does it say that on the menu? I was about to write off this place because of that attitude. (Yeah, I had an attitude of my own by that point.) I at least can read the words "regular" and "large" and understand they don't sound the same as "small" and "family" even if the numerical size matches. Am I supposed to read your mind instead of the menu? Where is that tidbit of info found? Do I get a discount for doing it? Well, we got the pizza and holy cow (Wisconsin reference) it was fantastic. The crust was not too thick, in fact it tended to thin, which I prefer. It was loaded with toppings that were barely visible underneath all the cheese. Surprisingly, despite all the cheese, the flavors of the other toppings weren't lost. Seriously good. This pizza shop is also a pizza diner -- the type of place you can expect the local high-school kids to visit after a game or a family having a weekend pizza dinner to frequent. There are old-school video games here as well. Great pizza. And that's the only thing that should have an attitude. It earns it. read more

Fantastic sauce with a little zip. LOTS of toppings. If you get the large House Special I recommend not getting the hand tossed crust but rather the thin crust. We have ordered pizza from this place for about 3 weeks in a row now. The best pizza place in Hudson. We have tried the "deep dish" meat lovers. It was sooo good. Calzone also was great. Second time we got the "Chicago style deep dish" and oh my gosh..... we were in love at first bite. If you've ever been to Giordano's, this is even better!!!!! We absolutely loved it. We also got pizza fries, very good, little garlicky. And don't leave without a homemade cupcake!!!! Also have to mention the great customer service!!! After a loooong drive home from central WI, we ordered pizza to be delivered. Using the app. I was able to place my order from the car and it got to our house about 10 minutes after we arrived! Perfect! We got the EJ's house special and it was great. I especially liked the Italian sausage- not the common grey, bland, lumps of meat, but good, spicy, rich sausage. Don't tell my husband but a picked a few off of his slice and ate them before he got to the kitchen. My husband said it was the best pizza he had eaten in a long time. This was my first time ordering anything and will be my last. I ordered a gyro sandwich for 8.50 and when I got it home I was shocked!! There was this very small pita bread wrapped around a tablespoon or gyro lamb meat sprinkle with minimal lettuce and tiny chopped up tomatoes. The sauce tasted like mayo with a pinch of some kind of seasoning. I took one bite since this was suppose to be my dinner. I dont eat pizza so this sounded like a good choice. Had their pizza several times now since we moved to Hudson last spring. If you are an onion fan you may like them because they put onions on everything even found some on a pizza that wasn't supposed to have onions once. The final straw with them was the taco pizza they delivered last night. They threw all kinds of large leaf lettuce on top of the hot pizza so the lettuce was all soggy when we received it. Plus because the lettuce was melted in with cheese we could not reheat the leftovers and had to throw it away. I am not an onion fan also and this pizza was so loaded with them that was all we tasted. I am not kidding when I counted an average 3-4 chunks of onion every square inch as I tried to take some off. I like supporting non franchise pizzerias but unfortunately I haven't been impressed with them yet. read more

On a whim we ordered a pizza for pickup. It was incredible! The phone was promptly and courteously answered, our order was correctly taken, and the total was given without asking. I was also greeted as soon as I walked in. The pizza was ready when promised and I was on my way home in no time. It was a much better pizza than any we've had in the area. We were pleasantly surprised with a crispy crust, generous and tasty toppings, and plenty of cheese. All for a good price. We'll definitely be ordering from EJs again! Pizza is good! Called for a carry out, was told it will be ready in 30 mins. Arrived a little over the time told pizza was not ready. When I paid the pizza was finally called to be made, waited another 15-20 mins. Customers after me was getting their pizzas. Went up to the cashier and told her I've been waiting for my pizza and I have yet to get it, and asked for a refund. All they did was went to searching for my order. Here it is just sitting on top of their oven. Gave me my pizza and that was it. Next day got a call from the owner(I believe) he did off a $5 coupon which was nice. I understand that night was crazy, but how can you misplace an order when you're supposedly calling out the number etc?? But don't shy away from this place.
