The cheese is cooked perfect and the pizzas are massive. They also have other things on the menu to try that I haven't had a chance to give a shot yet. If i could give zero stars i would. Rudest customer service I've ever experienced. I called in because i ordered from Uber eats and my order kept getting delayed. I wasn't yelling or upset AT FIRST i just said i was wondering about my order, the lady tells me ' well we don't do uber eats so not my problem' and hung up on me. I called again because at this point im mad and i just wanted to let them know that they are on uber eats and they should probably take it down. The worker and i started arguing because i couldn't hold my composure anymore and then she hands the phone to the owner and he proceeded to tell me they are not on Uber eats not his problem and that i just got screwed in a very condescending tone. At this point i just was trying to let them know they are on Uber eats because a business should be aware of that! I have ordered from here a lot over the phone and picked it up but i will never eat here again and i will tell my friends and family about this terrible experience. read more

This Family-owned place is our favorite pizza joint in River Falls. The dining room has been closed for a while due to lack of staff, but thankfully one can get to-go orders. One can wait around the corner at a bar or coffee shop. Delivery is available if staff exists that day. Luigi's Superpie is the greatest pizza we've ever had; lots of rich fresh ingredients on a thin crust. Seriously, one piece and I'm full! We are very happy Luigi's survived Covid, when many places closed for good. Luigi's superior products is the reason. We wish you continued success. read more

We ordered takeout for 8, so this review will be based on takeout alone. The TLDR: Good place for pizza! You can tell this is their specialty and main focus. Their pasta meals were just ok. In total, we had a thin crust chicken/pineapple pizza, thin crust Luigi special pizza, chicago style deep dish pizza w/ pepperoni, chicken parmesan, mastacoli, plain garlic bread/sticks, a couple dinner salads, and a side of spaghetti. The Good: Many of us liked the deep dish pizza. I thought the pizza sauce needed more spice/flavor, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. One slice really fills you up! The thin crust pizza was good as well. The crust had good consistency; it was not soggy at all. I also appreciated the fact that it was not very greasy. Everyone liked the garlic sticks as well. The "Could be Better": The pasta meals were 'okay' considering they came from a pizza joint. The garlic toast looked like plain french bread with some butter smeared on top, nothing to get excited about. The dinner salad was just chopped up iceberg lettuce with a couple croutons..again nothing special, but it was fresh. We had a side of spaghetti with exactly 1 meatball in the dish, thought that was odd...I guess they threw it in as a bonus. Not only are they willing to drive ALL the way to my house for delivery, they also have quick pick-up options and pizza to satisfy even the Jersey Girl in me. My daughter is thinking of attending UW-RF so we did a visit, I always check Yelp when I visit somewhere I like to see what's trending and a bit out of the ordinary. This time I didn't stick to my desire for out of the ordinary, this time we all wanted something we could eat at the hotel, to-go or delivery, its been a long winter. Al four of us, discussed our option and unanimously picked Luigi's, we got a regular crust pizza, a deep dish and a calzone. I got the vegetarian with the regular red sauce, it was fantastic. My wife and son said that the deep dish with sausage and pepperoni was also very good. My daughter got the calzone, again it was very good. The vegetarian pizza had a nice little kick as I swapped out the green peppers for pepperoncini and the red sauce had really good flavor which didn't overpower the vegi's. The amount of cheese was just about perfect. The only knock, and its very minor, is the lack of paper plates to eat on, we got delivery to the hotel, would have been nice to have those to eat off of. The price was also a decent deal, right inline with what you'd expect for good quality pizza. If our daughter does end up attending UW-RF we now have our dinner plans ready. read more

This was my favorite local go to for many years - note WAS. My recent experiences have been horrible. This review is not based on one visit, as an off night can happen for anyone. Instead, this is as a result of a pattern as of late. The quality of the product has declined, but the most glaring smack is the increased level of rudeness of the in house staff. Since I had to select at least one star, here you go, consider yourself lucky. While most of the mom and pop shops to be found throughout River Falls hits the spot, this place does not. Was told to sit anywhere you like, so my family sat at the corner booth. No longer than 5 minutes of sitting were we told to move somewhere else, as this booth is for large groups of 5 or more people. Okay, so next time put up a sign, which they did 10 minutes later. Placed an order for garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. Main course was the meat fest pizza, which was supposed to have pepperoni, hamburger, Canadian bacon, and sausage. Where to begin? How about the garlic bread that tasted more like hot buttered bread? Or the obliviously frozen mozzarella sticks? Better yet, the pizza that was missing half the ingredients! While the place was given a 4/5 rating from other sites, I would not even give it a star. You must be drunk to put up with this low budget, poorly made "pizza". The dough tasted like bread dough that was flattened to make a pizza from. The pizza was missing pepperoni and hamburger, and was served on a hot pizza pan with no way to serve it or cut it for guests to enjoy. If I really wanted to waste money on a poorly assembled pizza, I would have went to Walmart and bought a Jack's pizza. At least the frozen cardboard of a pizza would have all the toppings on it. Once the waitress finally made it back to our table, I pointed out several issues. 1) Our drinks were empty and had been empty for at least 5 minutes. 2) The pizza is messed up and as I inquired about the toppings, I had to pull the pizza apart to prove that there was only 2 toppings on it. 3) The booth you kicked us from only had 4 people there. So, it's sad to say that my appetite has not been filled, I would not give this garbage to my cat or dog if I had one. It's pretty bad when you have 3 others with you, all agreeing that this "pizza" is the worst that they have ever had and they did not want another slice. read more

Horrible pizza! Ordered Chicago style pizza. This in no was is Chicago style pizza. We could not stomach even a piece. It's basically pizza crust with lots of Motz cheese and canned tomato paste/tomatoes on top with absolutely no flavor or seaming whatsoever. We were warned about the sausage that it was spicy and being that we have kids we went with cheese. We are from Chicago. Giordanos, Edwardos, Lou Malnadis. That is true Chicago deep dish pizza. They need to have Chicago pizza before claiming to make it. This is not Chicago style deep dish pizza. Very very disappointed and a waste of money. Guess we'll have canned soup tonite. read more

Food is typically good. My favorite are calzones. The hot hoagies have great flavor and are a great change of pace. My kids go for manicotti and ravioli. Very traditional. Sauce has a nice kick. I'm not a fan of the pizzas, the cheese is just too thick for me, plenty of people in town love it. At the restaurant service is always friendly and the dining room looks the same as 40 yrs ago. My lower rating is for a few reasons. Delivery and pick up times tend to be awhile. Every single time I called I'm placed on a longer then average hold. Lastly! No website or fb menu. None to be found. If you don't have fb at least utilize your Facebook page properly. I know from experience it's annoying when you have to read the menu over the phone and I need my options to order in s timely fashion. So I hope they update this situation soon! read more

Deep dish is served burnt..."because it's thicker and it has to cook longer." That seems different than other deep dish pizzas I've had that have had a flaky, buttery crust. Very disappointed but because it was burnt and I only ate half of one slice, I did get a $3 discount. Guess I'll use that to go eat elsewhere. read more

I love this place , it has a nice family vibe almost like your at home and the staff are very kind and professional. My fiancé and I both tried their calzones and they were absolutely delicious. I was expecting something small like pizza huts pzone but I was wrong. Pretty much took up the whole plate with a ton of sauce on top and it was extremely filling and satisfying. Mom and I each got the smaller plate of spaghetti with "meatballs" (note the S), and my gorgeous niece opted for a club hoagie. she said the hoagie was nice...twas huge and hit her hunger spot, howe'er our spaghetti sauce was beyond boring... taste like salty tomato puree and it had one very small meatball, yet ample spaghetti which brought a water puddle with it....as small as the meatball was, it should have been 3 for a small and 5 or 6 for the large. wow! It wasn't a housemade meatball, either! Worked here for many years. I'd be lying if I said I didn't continue to order their calzones, hoagies, and canadian bacon pizzas when I return home. I have been a consistent customer for 14 years, but the experience that I had tonight has changed my mind and I will never, never ever order from this company again. I ordered, didn't receive my order, tried to call on my order, was told that the driver was trying to reach me, but I had stated that I had never received one phone call from the driver. After some persistence on this I was told that they would deliver it, with the manager and told that they would get the police involved if there was any confrontation. I tried to order food tonight, wow. Now we are talking about police interaction, unbelievable, unbelievable. Over 14 years of consistently being a client and this is how I am treated. Luigi's Pizza is good. They have a few different sauces to choose from. One of them is pretty normal pizza sauce. It usually comes on their amazing calzones. The sauce they use on their pizza has a more robust taste to it. It is also very good. We usually have our pizza delivered and they are usually prompt. I hate when they put you on hold when you call them. They had done it to me a few to many times. So I decided if they do that I will just hang up and call Steve's instead. If you go in you will likely get good service though. The building is not kept up well so it doesn't look fancy, but the food is good. They also have good manicotti. They also have desert for those of us with a sweet tooth. read more

The server was very nice but whoever's in charge of making the pizza might want to find another line of work. I hope it's not the owner.
