It makes getting around really easy whether I'm heading into the city or staying local. The hotel itself is consistently comfortable and reliable. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff is always professional and welcoming. My most recent stay was extra special because the hotel was hosting the Korean soccer team--such a fun and unique experience to see them up close! One thing that could be improved is responsiveness to service calls. I often find myself having to go down to get assistance instead of being able to reach someone directly by phone. Overall, this is my trusted spot whenever I'm in the area, a solid choice for convenience, comfort, and location :)

Although there are some empty spaces at this minute I snapped some of my pictures, when one thing ran out they were quick to replenish it. And they made sure to keep food stocked until the end of breakfast (sometimes buffets start emptying things out well before closing time). This was definitely appreciated by those who came a few minutes before 10! The space for dining is a bit small. Every day except one, it was very crowded. But they do provide trays so you can take the food to your room, which I did each day. Having trays was awesome--such a small thing but made a big difference! They also have a hot drink area available all day: coffee, hot chocolate, and tea (although the flavors are basic).

The room at Hampton Inn was not as huge as the Homewood Suites, but it also cost less and it was just as nice and clean. And had a spacious bathroom. Worked out great for the 2 adult + 1 kid stay. The valet attendant was super friendly, as well as the lady at the check in counter. I did not have to use the valet, and was able to self park inside like before. Lady said the hotel was not too crowded so shouldn't have any issues finding space inside, and she was right. Felt right at home driving up the ramp and into the parking lot and navigating to the Hampton side elevators (discovered there are 2 separate elevator locations when stayed before at Homewood Suites and one time used the Hampton elevators to arrive at the floor that I didn't recognize, lol!) Parking levels 2, 3, 4 but I was able to find space on level 2 the first night, and level 3 on the second night when came back late at night. No problems and parking spots are wide enough to fit cars easy enough. I think maybe I paid for parking before, but it's free now so that was probably another factor in me coming back to this property. I didn't get to go breakfast last time, but this time got to check it out and it was great! Had all the basics. Heck, even the basic bagel with cream cheese was surprisingly good. I didn't realize until the 2nd morning, but there was breakfast on 2 sides, one for Homewood and one for Hampton. First morning did not know and used the Homewood side (it was quite classy and nice). The good: - Felix at the front desk is very friendly, in great spirits, and super helpful. - The room was very clean and provided 2 free bottles of water. - The common area upon walking in had a lot of seating with comfortable furniture. - It's next to a big, beautiful park which is great for long walks or runs. - There's a movie theatre across the street. - Plenty of parking. - Easy access to I-95. The bad: - The room could use some updating. - The dressers bottom drawer kept opening even after pushing it back closed. - The room was humid. - The hair conditioner bottle top/pump was broken so I couldn't use it. - In the middle of the night I turned on the light to go to the bathroom and saw a huge centipede on the wall scurrying to hide in the baseboard which was separating from the wall. It continued to hide behind the bed. I hate bugs and know centipedes don't like light... so I literally slept with a light on from fear that I'd wake up to this enormous bug crawling on me. - The rates are expensive for what you're getting. Yes, I could have called and complained about the hair conditioner and the centipede. Maybe they would have switched my room. But I had my own shampoo and conditioner packed and it was the middle of the night and I had my PJs on. I didn't feel like switching rooms at that point. If I stayed here again it would be because of the great service and welcome at the front desk and because of the park.

I contacted Hilton Hotel Corporate and they have not responded to my ask of 25,000 points as a "made-whole" approach. This is not the first time their fire alarm has gone off during a stay. If they are not going to fix the side security doors, then they should hire a security guard. The Fitness room door was also broken. The housekeeper left my ice bucket filled with water and did not replace the plastic bag to get more ice on my second and third day. This was not such a great experience. I used my Marriott Bonvoy hotel points to book all four king bedrooms for Saturday through Monday for a two night weekend. Each of the four hotel rooms cost me 49k points each or 196k points for four rooms for two weekend nights. Our Saturday check-ins and Monday morning check-outs went smoothly.I had not problem using my points. The parking lot was busy when we arrived on Saturday, but had less vehicles on Sunday evening. I had a standard king bedroom #233 located on the second floor rear of the hotel overlooking the construction of new buildings. See my pics. My room had a small refrigerator. The bathroom shower had liquid dispensers mounted on the shower wall to dispense liquid shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
