I mean the service was fine. But as a visitor from California, the bagels here are real eh. I went with the a sesame and smear topped with bacon. The bacon was microwaved, and were 2 very sad, thin and flimsy. The coffee was fine and service was good. Although the aggressive tip sign on the credit card machine is completely unprofessional. This is the worst place in this entire town - you wait 45 mins in the drive thru for 2 bagels and a coffee. How? Why? Not sure but It's always like this. And there's like 16 people working. I recognize that the economy is creating circumstances under which businesses have to get creative to make profits. I don't think that the quality of the food should be compromised for as much as food costs, nor should the cleanliness of the environment be neglected. This location is by far the worst with their drive thru service! They leave you waiting in the drive thru forever and when you get to the window you wait a long time for them to even take your payment and give you your food. I went there yesterday and got 1 bagel with cream cheese and waited for 20 min in the drive thru total and there was only one car in front of me! Another time I waited in the drive thru for 30 min! 45min wait to get our food in the Cafe since drive through was over flowing. Then find out after getting home it wasn't even what we ordered. This location in particular, seems to really struggle. Dirty floors, no napkins, coffee pots empty, creamer empty. We like Einsteins brand but will no longer visit this location. read more

Every time I go there which is 15 to 20 minutes out of my way because it's the closest location to my house. They are always messing up my order. It should be your simplest thing. I get the farmhouse with one egg nothing special won't be going back if I could give a negative -5 so sad. read more

Walked over from our hotel for some breakfast for my kids. My son loves bagel dogs which they didn't have - I'm not familiar with Einstein's so I didn't know if they also have them. Manager offered coffee on the house just because they didn't have it (I guess they used to? - bring it back ;) ). Didn't end up buying anything and yet got great service!! read more

Anytime I come to this location it takes 10 minutes for them to acknowledge you. Then they tell you I'll be with you soon. I've tried the drive tru too and it took over 20 minutes from ordering for one toasted bagel with cream cheese. When I got my bagel it wasn't even toasted like I requested. Just avoid this place at all cost. Chick fil a breakfast in the same plaza takes less than 10 minutes even on a busy day. read more

My biggest problem with Einstein's is that on the rare occasion that they get everything right--it's so good. Despite the outrageous prices, clearly unhappy workers and the guarantee of some part of my order getting messed up every time, I keep coming back because I want to like this place so bad. It's so clear there is something wrong with the management here and maybe with the organization as a whole because I've never been to a business that so consistently has workers that seem like they simply can't wait to die so their shift can be over--and I want to make it clear that I am NOT blaming to workers at this location because of that, I don't believe that they would mess up my orders this frequently if the management was doing something right. And that's just it, because of this clear disconnect between employees and their employers, they don't care which means they're providing terrible service and even worse products. I end up craving Einstein probably once a week, I'm a very regular customer. But I can't remember the last time I've come here and gotten my order completely right! No matter was I ask for--lunch items, breakfast items, plain bagels, a dozen--something is ALWAYS wrong. Are the managers just never there? Or are they so horrible to the employees that they don't even want to try? I'm sure none of these problems will ever be addressed as they. Clearly don't even care about the horrendous ratings they're getting on every review website. I spend a decent amount of money at this location and I would probably spend more here if it weren't for these issues. It's clear the management simply doesn't care to make their business any better and it shows in their service, products and their reputation. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Einstein is a dying business, but for the sake of the workers I hope something changes soon. read more

Pre-ordered a bakers dozen of bagels to celebrate our daughters birthday before heading to the airport for a trip. Bagels weren't ready at the counter as stated in our confirmation. Young lady at the counter seemed "put off" by my husband asking for our order. Went in the store to use the restroom and it was in poor shape. The toilet was abused and no tp. I figured hey, they probably don't know do just kindly let them know. I ordered a turkey sausage on plain and it was SO salty. Very salty. It mase me thirsty (for the water I ordered, didn't get but just let go). Then the coffee, just a small medium roast with cream. I come to this place mainly for the location: it's close to stores and right off the highway, and that puts it in prime location for writing. It's convienent. However, after today I will not be returning - ever. I have never seen the store in this total disarray; the carpets, the tables, the mats and the counters are disgustingly dirty - it looks like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. There are only a handful of tables that you can work at, and one of them is so rickety you can't even put your elbows on it without it shifting. Anyone who understands people who work at coffee shops knows that the tables need to be solid, and I had actually mentioned this problem to them A YEAR AGO. It has still not been fixed. How hard is it to buy a new table that customers can actually use? When I asked to speak to the manager about it, she looked at me with a blank face when I told her about the table and didn't offer any suggestions, literally just said "Uhhh, okay?" I feel like half the workers here are stoned half the time, and they seem to have terrible turnover. All this happened before I even ordered. When my food came, it was wrong (1 egg instead of 2, bacon ordered extra crispy and was barely cooked.). It was fixed quickly, but should have been right the first time and the two people behind me also had issues with their orders. With Snooze opening a few steps away, and the behemoth that is the Starbucks customer service experience across the street, there is no way this place is going to survive. When it does go, it won't be because of those reasons though: it will because the management did the bare minimum, every time. read more

Overall I would give Einstein bagels a 5 star and we go there often. For whatever reason this specific location I has horrible service. They just can't get an order correct either at the takeout or walk in. For example, this Sunday we went through the drive through and ordered 4 breakfast bagels a coffee with cream and a dozen bagels to go. I specifically said not to cut the dozen bagels because they were for later. Got the order and took a drink of the coffee and it spilled all over me. They didn't tighten the lid. Good thing it was lukewarm. Sandwich order was fine so I shrugged it off and cleaned up. This morning I opened the box to make bagels for the family and guess what? Yep, they cut all the bagels and they were hard as rocks in the center. Trying to figure out what to do with them since they were $20! Dogs might be getting some expensive treats. If you want Bagels, make the drive down to the one on 120th and Sheridan. Never had a problem there. Or roll the dice and try this location but you've been warned! read more

My husband and I came here for the first time today due to the email I received about it being National Bagel Day. We decided to make a late Saturday morning date out of it, being our teen boy is away at winter camp. We went thru the drive thru, ordering was easy and the gal patient with us as we needed a few minutes to read menu, staff we encountered was very friendly and we received our items very quickly. I ordered the French toast bagel with honey almond ( they no longer have French toast maple spread, need to remove it off menu); my husband ordered the protein bagel with strawberry. We are not normally bagel people, being we eat them once in a awhile so anything other than what comes in a bag is really good! We both found the bagels to be very good, right amount of Shmear (though I think if one of paying for it separately, one should put it on themselves, otherwise amount of product is totally dependent on whomever spreads it) We also ordered coffee, but will review that at Caribou. It was really good though. Will need to read the reviews from others, wondering why overall (3 stores, over 100 reviews all have low ratings) read more
