Definitely one of my favourite breakfast/brunch places. This place is perfect for some light, fresh breakfast/lunch bagels. Their bagels are fresh and they run out pretty quickly. They have a wide variety of bagels: multigrain, regular, garlic, sesame, cheeses, and a lot more. I love salmon, so my first choice was the NOVA Lox N Bagel and I absolutely loved it. It comes with cream cheese, capers, tomato slices, and onions (I had mine without the onion slices). All ingredients were fresh. They're also generous with the salmon portion. Absolutely this one! I also paired it with some of the organic, boxed apple juice they have in the fridge and it was a perfect combination for me. I also tried their cinnamon pretzel bites and they were soft, sweet, and very good to have. Especially in winter when you need some coffee and any baked goodies with cinnamon. They're packed in a cute box and I had them to-go and ate them on my way home. Was a nice way to end my brunch. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I tried to place online order a few weeks ago and each time I went to process payment, it said the processing failed, try again. So I did. 3 times. Each time it said payment processing failed. So I eventually called in my order and went into the store to pay. However, on my bank account's end, the payments had actually gone through. So, I was charged 4 times for the same order. I have been trying to get refunded for the last couple of weeks. There is no customer service number - they have gone to completely email communications system for customer service; however they don't respond. I have never received a response and I haven't been refunded. So I had to file dispute claims with my banking institution because that was the only recourse I had. DO NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS ONLINE!! Their customer service model is terrible and you won't hear back from anyone especially when it's as critical as being reimbursed or refunded. read more

Wow. I've never been to a place that was such a hot mess. My order was wrong two times in less than 10 minutes. My favorite part was how my frozen my spinach egg white omelet was. I had to ask for a refund, it wasn't even offered to me. I would've liked a bagel instead but the cashier rushed me and only after I asked for a refund, did she proceed to reimburse me for my sandwich. They seem to have more employees than they need in one shift too. Management needs to get more involved. Customers shouldn't have to ask for coffee to be brewed and customers shouldn't have to stop hot water machines from overflowing. I came in and there was one person working- I'm to blaming her because I'm sure they were short staffed so I patiently waited to comment to the woman who took my order and feel for her except she just interrupted me and gave me my total. I remained very polite despite her attitude and then ended up waiting on egg and cheese sandwich- the cheese wasn't even melted & I asked hr kindly to melt it and she took my food and threw it in the microwave. First time at this location at 10am on a Saturday. The line is out of the door. After waiting patiently with a large and small orange juice in hand, I give my order. I didn't say double eggs but the person entered that without asking me. I get to the register and realize the reason for the slow line. The cashier is struggling with using the POS system and aiding the congestion. I received my food before paying due to the cashier's slowness. No one uses the second cashier. After reviewing the receipt, I realize the first person charged me for 2 large orange juices. I can go and complain to get my dollar back but instead I won't return. For some reason I thought Einstein Brothers, since it's a chain, had a little bit more "oomph" to its menu offerings. We came here for lunch and I have to admit that I wasn't particularly impressed. The bagel flavors that they offer are nice, but the actual breakfast and lunch sandwich options for which to use your chosen bagel felt pretty lackluster. Also, their everything bagels were super heavy on the caraway seed. Credit where credit's due, salt bagels are delish though. The folks behind the cash registers were very nice but took forEVER, too. Which is crazy, considering we were literally 2 of the 3 people who came in the entire time we were there. I understand that it was during a slump (we were there from like 3 - 3:30), but still. How can it possibly take like 8 entire minutes to cut a bagel, toast a bagel, smear some schmear on a bagel, and then give me that bagel? I ate the entire thing faster than it took to assemble. I think that the next time I've got a hankering for a chain place's bagels, bagel sandwich, or anything of the like, I'll probably head to Panera. The only reason I give this place 1 star is because the food was edilbe. This is by far the dirtiest restaurant in Springfield. I had to wipe the crumbs off my own table. All of the tables were filthy and so was the floor. I told my 12 y/o daughter we would not be back. She asked, "Why? My food was great!" I told her to take a look around and let me know if she felt the place looked clean. She said, "no". I said think about it. If it's this dirty out here, how dirty is it back in the kitchen where they make our food? She said, "oh". Obviously this place had been busy at lunch, but the last thing you need to be doing is standing around. Wouldn't come back here if i was starving and the world had somehow ended by a freak zombie apocolypse. Ok, maybe that's too harsh. But it seems every time I come here there's some sort of order issue. The staff is decently friendly, though they can't seem to get my order right, or they skip me altogether. People four deep behind me usually get their orders before I do and all I usually order is simple as simple can get. Maybe their ordering system needs some help? It's also pretty marked up in price for what i'm getting to eat. Three dollars for a bagel with creme cheese just hurts. Plain and simple. I've honestly given this place so many chances... But I'm honestly done... The customer service is decent but the food is not... Just a bunch of microwaved food... And the wait there is normally at least 10 min for a bagel sandwich... They pride themselves on fresh ingredients which they do have, but why microwave everything?! I love their bagels & shmear but it takes FOREVER if u order anything other than a a box of bagels to go and watch out because there are FLIES EVERYWHERE. The staff taking orders and preparing food today were very nice & pleasant and appeared to be working as fast as they could but the cashier was down right RUDE and snippy to us and to several people after us. We witnessed one customer after us who heckled and berated the cashier for her attitude and threatened to make a formal complaint. He crossed the line and made a scene and was even more rude than she was, but I don't think the cashier did herself any favors by engaging with an obnoxious & irate customer. Visited recently and waited for well over 20 minutes from the moment we got in line for our order, they had more than 8 people behind the counter, total disorganization, and the end product - nothing to write home about. And no, they were not swamped with customers! For these same reasons we stopped dropping in here a few years ago. Looks like it may be another few years if ever, for our dropping in again! Although they seem to have enhanced their menu and product variety, they've done absolutely nothing regarding their customer service, operational organization and attention to detail! My wife tried their Green Chile & Turkey Sausage Panini which was pretty good, but I had a bland Turkey-Sausage and Cheddar Cheese Panini which couldn't be any more bland no matter how you try! Overall for what it is, and the potential fact that other locations may be better - we'll be skipping passed this location for a long time to come. I came here this morning for a quick coffee and wonderful bagel. I drive by this place several times per week, but never have had the time to stop in in the past several months. There were about ten people eating inside of the restaurant, and only two people standing in line to order, so I don't think they were that busy. I ordered a French toast bagel with strawberry reduced fat smear and jelly topping. I also got a cold press coffee with sugar and cream. They prepared the bagel in about thirty seconds and the coffee was ready as well by the time I was ready to pay for the order. The second I took the first bite, the bagel practically melted in my mouth- that's how awesome it tasted. It was quite delicious! The coffee was right in cue as well, and it tasted fresh. The girl who helped me was the same who took my payment, and she was very nice. The place was clean and I had no issues with anything. The music was slightly elevated however, so you may want to think about that if you plan on doing any work inside of the restaurant. read more

Not sure why this place gets few stars. I've always gotten good service from all the team members. I've ordered party sized portions, placed the order online and pickup was always easy. The staff is working hard considering there is always a line out the door. The selection is great, and their shmear is a nice chunk. Their ordering process is organized. I think the delay is when people are standing over the cream cheese area trying to decide which of the tubs they want. read more

Stopped in here to get a big container of coffee to bring in to work as a co-worker loves there coffee and I owed her one. I myself had never tried it and I was pleasantly surprised. I was offered to fill my cup as the gentleman was filling the jug. I tried the vanilla hazelnut and although it was good, one cup was enough of that. I poured myself a cup of regular when I arrived at work and it was delicious. I also ordered a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on a six cheese bagel and that was delicious. The only thing I found slightly off about it was the fact the bagel was kind of sweet. I didn't care for what tasted like added sugar in it. Einstein Bagel Brothers is a pretty good spot to get some coffee and bagels. I think they are pretty tasty, perhaps a little expensive for some bagels and coffee, but not overbearing. It's a clean environment and good staff. The owners/management always seems to be smiling and in a good mood. I don't go here often (weekly is what I call often), but when we head out for some bagels, this is one of our first choices. read more

I swear Springfield is where all the "C-team" chain establishments set up shop. Understandably on a Saturday morning there was a long line in front of me, so I decided to wait in it. I had a simple enough order: 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese on the side to go. I had to give the cashier guy my order like 3 times because he wasn't listening to me after he asked what I wanted. The Italian chicken panini is the best panini I have ever heard. The service was quick. The cook was nice and took my order minutes before I had even paid for it. The staff was some of the nicest people I have ever seen at a establishment. Every worker was helping someone. I had and ate all my food in about 20-30 minutes. Pretty good for dine in/take out. Einstein Bros. is an example of the same old chain store routine. Confusing order lines, (even in non-busy times) no emphasis on cleanliness, overpriced subpar "food" served with an attitude in a generic-looking atmosphere. I get better bagels from Shoppers. Just came here and they didn't give us great customer service. They had no coffee so told us to pour hot coffee in ice because they would take a while to make fresh iced coffee. They handled their bagels with no gloves while putting spread on them. The cashier I forgot his name. He didn't give me or any clients receipts. Horrible Einstein Bagels I've ever been too. I stop by today for a bucket of coffee and a bucket of bagels at everything ready. Through the bus. The Asian guy he works like a robot fast. He's very he's a very good worker he's over the top he'll get stuff done. I love the Einstein bagels when I take them home and the shmears are amazing especially the jalapeño. However went in person to the store and so disorganized. Gave me chorizo even though I said no chorizo and she repeated it. They messed up about 3 orders just in the 10 mins I was waiting for my order and they weren't even that busy. On top of that they barely put any cream cheese on all of our bagels, even skimped on the avocado and other condiments never had that happen before at an Einstein's. I dread coming here. The entire process of ordering is inefficient. It's a typical 15 minute wait on Saturday just to get to the first station to place an order. The rest of the process takes like two minutes. They should adjust it to have two registers to take orders. If they just did this, I think they'd improve the customer experience. read more

This place has great bagels and cream cheese shmears. Let me tell you, this place use to be my goto breakfast place on my way to work and occasionally I would have sandwiches there as well. I stopped by for a bagel and coffee a few months ago and I could not have been treated worse by the manager and I have always had good experience here in the past. First off, the place was busy when I stopped in and the manager would not accept my coupon. He also embarrassed me in front of a number of people. It was an african american heavy set man and I forgot his name but he manages this location. I called up Corporate to complain about the incident. The email response I got back was a lax one, from the tone of it I could tell they did not really care about management treating customers poorly and they offered me a free meal. I was surprised even corporate would treat the situation so poorly (especially towards a regular customer). I believe they put out the coupons. In my opinion, the manager should have been coached, snd written up for this incident but that did not happen I'm sure. Also, I believe they should have compensated me fairly, I lost time due to this and it ruined my morning. I have NOT been back since and I don't believe I will EVER be back. There are many other places that want my business, will provide me with food that is just as good (or superior) and appreciate my patronage. I'm disgusted with this chain...... read more
