First of all, the bar height only tables are not conducive to bringing small kids to a restaurant. The adults were nervous trying to make sure they didn't fall off the bar height chairs. I had the burger with the egg on it. Loved everything about this burger. Both burger and egg cooked perfectly. Wife had the Hawaiian burger, which she thought was delicious. Brother-in-law had the burger with the mac and cheese with the mac and cheese on the side; he absolutely raved about the mac and cheese. For appetizers, we bought the pepperjack bites and the spicy green beans. The green beans were fabulous, although I would have enjoyed dipping them in a spicier ranch than regular ranch, although it was very good ranch. We all ordered the french fries and onion rings with our dishes. All of us agreed both the rings and the fries were on the greasy side. I think the greasiness of the fries is what gave my stomach some issues later. The bartender who took care of me paying the bill was very nice. Big, welcoming, friendly smile; pleasant attitude and communication. The service industry needs more people like this guy. Would definitely try this place again to try something else on their vast menu. Might have to not eat for about two days so I can try the double patty hamburger with the fried chicken in the middle of the sandwich. Or their fried peanut butter and jelly. Or wings with their multitude of flavors of sauces and spices.

A good little small town Italian shop. The sausage has an authentic flavor. The stuffed shells and…read moremanicotti were some of the best we have found in quite awhile. The paninis were large and were very good, and meaty. The make for a great lunch while on the road. I highly recommend this place, it kind of off the beaten path, but worth the detour.

I've been confused about this business since news of the grocery store closing a few years ago. If you just drive by on Frontenac's main drag, it looks like the business is still closed. But on the west side of the building is the new entrance. It seems they just blocked off the front part of the store to save on utilities. The heart of the business is the meat counter, for which Pallucca's was always famous. You'll still find Pallucca's famous sausage. I was pleased to find the three types of italian cold cuts that I use to make muffalettas - which I'd previously only found at Tulsa's Fresh Market. There are lots of italian specialties, including several varieties of ravioli and homemade spaghetti sauce. They also carry the famed Frontenac Bakery bread. Also in in the meat counter are ready-made deli sandwiches (featuring fresh artisan bread) and salads. We really liked the cuban sandwich, which was big enough for two people. They grilled it in a panini press, which made it better than imagined. There are tables for dining in, and there and bottled soft drinks. Lunch specials are offered from 11 - 1 Monday thru Friday. Normal hours are 9-6 Monday thru Saturday, closed Sunday.

Reviews for each part of this business…read more Outside - 3/5 - Outside is misleading. Driveway and look is a little rough. Didn't even know this place was around until we were told, and you can easily miss it. Inside - 4/5 - Inside is nice and very clean. Plenty of places to sit. You go past multiple seating areas to the back to order. Food - This can range from 5/5 to 1/5 depending on what you order. We ordered a little of everything off the entire menu. Anything with bread wasn't great. Which honestly isn't a slam at all. It's a bbq meat place. Reality is, sandwiches and things usually are not great at places like this. The specialty dogs and sandwiches were just kinda boring. They were messy, and the great meat flavors were ruined by boring basic bread. Almost all of the meats were AMAZING. Brisket, pork, hot links, and turkey were all fantastic. 5/5 for sure. You can't go wrong with any of these. Plus if you like baked potatoes, this is the place to go. It's at the very top of the menu. The only meat that was really bad was the Italian sausage. They were very very dry and no flavor. All of us took a bite or two, and we tossed the rest in the trash. Their Mac and cheese and their broccoli casserole were both great. We got the brisket jacked Mac, and it was fantastic. Summary - it's a bbq meat place. Stick with pure meat as much as you can for your main and stay away from all the pointless filler meals with bread and buns. Order yourself a lot of meat, some Mac and cheese, and maybe a spud. Can't go wrong. Service is super friendly, you can call in your orders, and they also do catering.

Smokey Racks BBQ - Dirty dog with hot link. Just too much going on. Hot link only half the size is the bun. Not awful, but not great.
