Have tried this several times - staff is indifferent & cant listen to basic orders. For example, I have ordered a iced pumpkin muffin several times. The cashier acted confused when I said iced, so I pointed to it in the display case. When they called my name, they said "now did you want that iced?" What's the point of ordering and specifying if they don't listen and make you repeat it? A separate visit, I ordered a bagel (one bagel) with cream cheese on the side. I'm not sure if they have an absent manager, but it took over ten minutes. I finally asked to switch out my order because I didn't want to wait any longer. How long does it take to toast 1 bagel? Until they properly train their staff, I'm sure these problems will persist. read more

Mushy, far from fresh side of fruit, every. Single. Time. They also act like I'm a pain by changing bread types/ adding something. I've come here about 20 times and I can honestly say I've never been wowed, or even vaguely impressed by anyone working here which is a shame because their bagels are pretty good. read more

Don't go to this location.Your order won't be filled correctly of a particular bagel because it's sold while you are waiting to pay. It's a crapshoot at this location if you can get what you ordered. They food is great but being a gamble to get what you ordered is not worth it. I will go to another location which is superior. read more

I absolutely love Einstein's ...they're usually my go to place when I want a good cup of coffee and a quick breakfast ...however this location has THE worst service. There's no quick stop for coffee or breakfast ...not because customers don't know what they want but because either the Staff just isn't trained or they're just slow and don't care ..they never seem friendly or happy to be at work. I avoid this Einstein's. read more

Okay.... at least have enough bagels prepared on the weekends. Went to this place twice, two different Saturdays.... they were out of bagels that we wanted. Come on. Once.... fine. Twice? Really? Not cool. Big let down, won't be coming back. read more

Have been coming to this place since they opened a few years ago. Started with great service and well-made bagels. For the last few times quality has been no longer a priority... Just had a nova lox bagel with skimpy slices of salmon, a mere amount of spread and two-day old onions with 2 capers. Really?... Let us know when you go back to tasty, well-made food. read more

Went there on Saturday at 9:30am and they were "out" of bananas for their bagel toppers, as well as every kind of bagel except for potato, pumpernickel and onion. How can you be out of everything so early on such a busy day?? Bad management, that's how. My husband was with me and he said that's been the story every time he's been there. So sad. We love Einstein and we're thrilled to see when this location opened, but they need to correct these issues ASAP if they expect to survive here. We won't be back until reviews improve. read more

This location is not representative of Einsteins. Courtesy is lacking. Attentiveness is non-existent. I requested a lightly toasted bagel. They burnt it and said it was impossible to serve it any other way. They did offer to scrape off the back charred parts . Too bad it was the last bagel they had and the burnt smell filled the restaurant. I have to say, it was almost like a comedy skit. I left smiling. . I'll try another day... read more

Terrible service. The girl, think she was the manager, seemed like she didn't care at all about the people coming in. Don't recommend this location. read more

I normally love Einstein bagels. However this location is crap. It's 1230 in the afternoon and I was feeling like a bagel sandwich. I walked in and they had two bins of bagels left: my choices poppyseed or chocolate chip. No thank you. What kind of bagel place stops making bagels after the breakfast rush? They are open until 4 - why?!?!?? Pointless. I'm very disappointed. And hungry. read more

Went in for lunch and ordered the Nova Lox and Bagel....it was pricey, but I really wanted a treat. The bagel was lightly toasted as I requested, and the lox was fresh, however, barely any cream cheese, the tomato was the end and still had the green plug of stem in them ( that is one of my biggest peeves at any place, don't put garbage on my sandwich...uuuuggggg) and the onion slices were hugely sliced and dried out. Very disappointed...will only order a bagel if I ever go there again, and make my own at home....for less than $8.00 read more

This is the worst einsteins ever... VERY SLOW. Very disorganized. Multiple attempts giving them the benefit of the doubt. Always the same. Multiple Sunday's and Saturdays out of plain bagels at 9 am.. Who runs out of plain bagels?? Dozens of pumpernickel available - would have expected them to learn to make less of those and more of the plain. Speaks poorly of management. Never going back. Not sure why people do. Coppell must be desperate for bagels and there is no competition! read more

My coworker always brings in the baker's dozen on Mondays for our team as they are 1/2 off on Mondays. It was my turn a few weeks ago since he was out of office. These bagels are sooo good. It's hard to have just one and I love the strawberry and blueberry reduced fat shmears. read more

The bagels are really good and soft. But the servers could be friendlier. They don't act glad to have customers. How about a smile? Even if you are not the cashier, please acknowledge customers and be polite. read more

The food was good but the set up was confusing. You walk in and order you food but the people waiting for their food are in the way of seeing your choices. And why do you have to move to another register to pay? Why not pay when you order? read more

Bagels, schmear and coffee are fantastic! Service is less than sub par. The only thing keeping me from using the word "terrible" is because typically they aren't rude, but just incredibly SLOW! I have spent 40 minutes in the store just to get a bagel and drip coffee to go. The line/ordering system is very INEFFICIENT. Everyone seems to be moving at a snails pace and doesn't care to be faster. The line will be long and nobody is moving fast. It would be different if the staff was having friendly conversations with customers, and that's why they were slow, but no they hardly want to speak AND are slow. I wish they would make a change. Today I was in and everyone in the line was laughing at how slow they were... it's like a common Coppell community joke. I really hope they figure out a better system and get a manager who can motivate read more

One of my fav places. I go here to study and eat, and ALL of the employees are so nice. They go out of their way to ask how your day is. It feels like Cheers here; the employees and some of the patrons greet you by name. They have good coffee that's only $1 if you buy and bring the refill mug. read more

They made the first lox & bagels that I like. It's wonderful, but they don't keep their hours on Christmas morning.

Fast and fresh bagel place .... on my way to work ... when taking breakfast to coworkers grab n go boxes r convenient ...

I went to this location & was assisted by Jill. Rude is not even the word. She was unprofessional, rude, mean, cruel & all of the above. I attempted to place my order & she became so frustrated with me & work, the phone rang, she answered it but hung up, literally slammed it down, pointed her hands at me & said "look, is this what you want or not?" I asked her if I was frustrating her. She took a deep breathe, put her head down and said, "No, I need to know what you want & you need to make sure you know what you want!" I kid you not. Her manager did nothing! I was pissed! We went back & forth & my order was done. I spoke to her mgr Lisa & told her I was going to contact corporate. She told me not to & she would handle the situation. Not once did she apologize for the situation & not once did she step in. It was an entire scene with a lobby full of people. It happened today, 1/18/21, at 9:03am & I was order # (contact me) I will be contacted the BBB & corporate on 2 different occasions now. No response! This was the worse service I've ever received in my entire life. I would hate to think that Jill was treating me this way because of the color of my skin, because that is what it seemed like. This experience was so horrible. I truly cannot believe this. read more

I just moved here and I loved the Einsteins in the last city that I lived in so I tried this one. I've been here 3 times now and the service is painfully slow One guy filling orders while 2 stand around and look busy. I can't justify it anymore in the morning when I'm on my way to work. Just way too slow, even today when no one else ordered after I did so they weren't very busy Update- they got the order wrong today. That is 2 out 3 times I've gotten the wrong order read more

The morning vibe is awesome. They sing and greet everyone as they walk in. Always a nice start to the day. Management and crew have changed this ship around. Stop in and enjoy. Love the bagel sandwiches too. read more

- Still when I periodically go (only because they are in Coppell where I live and work out), they are out of many bagels including plain. - They don't ask if I want it toasted - I have to tell them - I ask lightly spreaded with smear and it comes back dripping with it By far the worst Einstein I've ever been to. I've gone to 4 others in the DFW and don't get this same poor service and lack of bagels. read more

They are great and they are always on top of it. Great service and always remember the names of their customers.

Awful management ...Headed to work.i Got there 20min before opening(5:40am)They knew I was waiting. Few more min late unlocking door and then after going in i was told no bagels another 10 min. They acted like its was no big deal.Food should be ready at opening and it should be a big deal. read more

I have been here about five times in the past two months. The place is very disorganized, and they are always out of the Honey Wheat Bagel thins. I waited 20 minutes for a toasted bagel and shmear, after I finally reminded them that I didn't have my order. I will not be going back again. read more

Below Par, been here three times and have yet to leave with a Bagel, these folks are RUDE to say the least, 35 minutes yesterday to get to the checkout line and and the girl says "you are who?" I said Gil, "Then she said to a coworker so what am I do do now?" Every time I have been in there the folks act like "What the heck, we don't need you we have plenty business. I for one will NOT step foot in this Bagel shop ever again, EVER.... Someone needs to say to the folks that work here "The customer is always right," read more

Bought a fruit cup and a medium coffee today. Got to work, opened the fruit cup and a very bad smell came out. When I inspected the fruit, I saw white mold on many pieces. I will not be returning to this location. If the staff isn't vigilant enough to make sure the fruit cups are fresh, what else are they ignoring. read more

The first time we came here a few months ago the customer service was terrible. I attributed that to inexperience. Came back today and the service was atrocious. Two out of the three employees were downright rude. Rolling eyes and one word, under the breath answers. They were out of coffee and when we pointed that out, the male employee said "I know" and proceeded to grudgingly brew a pot, like he was doing us a favor. We have been residents of coppell for 20 years and it is sad to see this. We were regulars at the Einstein's in lewisville, but unfortunately that closed down. Will never come back here. read more

Came in at 7 in the morning, the place was not packed at all no line or anything and I got the saddest bagel ever. It was the avocado toast, the bagel felt like it was warmed in the microwave it wasn't toasted and it looked like they just put a piece of avocado on it. Really wish I had taken a picture but won't be returning here read more

Just had my last visit here. After they rang up our sale, I took my cup over for some decaf. I didn't see it so I asked and was told: no, they don't have decaf today! Don't get me wrong. I like regular coffee, but I need to stick to decaf. So, I had water instead. What kind of breakfast restaurant doesn't have decaf? Apparently, this one. read more

Inexperienced/Inefficient staff. Bagels are ok. A fair number of bagel and cream cheese options and seem to have some good breakfast bagels. Somehow the chain lost its edge. Have eaten at several locations through out the country and they have become the bagel place-of-last-resort. read more

Went in this morning with a 6 bagels with schemer for $6 coupon. 1) They tried to wring me up without the coupon. 2) They corrected the mistake but when I got my bagels without the schemer. 3) As I am patiently waiting in line, 4 other customers come up to the counter with mistakes from their orders. 5) I explained the lack of schmear and got a blank look. This place has about 15% chance of getting this correct, don't come here. read more

Don't go to this location. The staff is terrible. They are rude and act bothered to be serving you. It's not how we like to start our day -- with an attitude and a frown. And they consistently get our orders wrong: they either forget one of your orders or they don't give you what you ordered. We are done with this location. We'd rather drive further to the Hebron Parkway location to get friendlier service with a smile. read more

I love Einsteins. I have been to multiple locations, inc Lewisville and Southlake. But this Coppell location is a horrible disservice to the entire Einstein chain. Customer service is honestly horrible. I live close by, and so VERY reluctantly come here several times a month, and consistently I am disappointed. The workers seem annoyed to be working there (except for one lady who really does try to be pleasant and helpful). I stood in line the other day with 4 workers behind the counter-only one was making a sandwich, one was fixing the register, and the other 2 were just watching him as I stood there-just two feet away-, and no one even acknowledged my presence for almost a minute. The restaurant had 3 people in it. And no one in line. I actually had to say hi to them. When they get my order wrong-incorrect shmear- (which is 75% of the time) the lady (manager) did not say sorry, but rather grabbed my bag, rolled her eyes, and gave me a wry smile. This happens a lot. I rarely get my salad that comes with the bagel sandwich. And on and on. But what is most disappointing is that unless you get there by 10am, bagel choices are limited, and by 12:30, they are out. They close at 4pm. They sell bagels. But they have NONE. By midday? All out? Really? Pure laziness on their part. I have tried and tried to like this location. But really. An embarrassment to the Einstein brand. read more

I've been here probably 5-6 times, and the only consistent thing about the place is that it is inconsistent. Every time we go, there is a different set up for how to order/pay. Order at one, pay at another, order and pay at both, etc. Workers are usually unfriendly. The best time to come is in the morning before when there are fewer customers to confuse the workers. Bagels are alright, though. read more

This place is a joke. I just don't get it. They are a bagel shop and they are ALWAYS out of bagels. I can understand if it was 1:30-2pm and the breakfast rush had long past, but I've been there several times during the morning hours and they have yet to have an Everything Bagel available. Yesterday at 9:30am decided to call before driving all the way over there to see if they had an Everything Bagel available. BIG SHOCKER... Nope, we are making some now, and they should be ready in 30 minutes. Come on people!!! Make some bagels, sell some bagels, it's not a hard concept. read more

I usually go to the Einstein's in Addison. Today at the Coppell location I was told that I couldn't get a bagel with honey on one half and cream cheese on the other. The employee told me that it was "impossible" to duplicate my order I get from the Addison location. Won't be coming back to the Coppell location, despite the fact it's less than five miles from my apartment. read more

I went in for breakfast this morning and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I was standing in the line next to the counter and the employee at the pay now register took a customer ahead of me after seeing me waiting before him. He even asked if he had to get in line behind me yet she said no he could go ahead and order. When it was my turn to order I asked for 2 lightly spread bagels and 1 normal, of course they got that wrong and all 3 bagels had heavy cream cheese on them. The employees lack customer service and this is not the first time they have messed up my order. Would not recommend, and only reason I go is because there are no other places to get bagels in the area. read more

Three visits now. Each time the bagels were tasty and fresh. That is about all I can say good about this place. I know that bagels are their main product but, the coffee is mediocre at best. I had the lemonade berry drink once, what a disappointment. Too much sugar and high frotuce corn syrup. Tables and floor are dirty, guess they only clean once a day. And, maybe the employees are trained not to smile, atleast the order taker and especially the cashier. What a shame. Sure hope that BIGGBY opens back up with good help like before. read more
