I absolutely love Einstein's ...they're usually my go to place when I want a good cup of coffee and a quick breakfast ...however this location has THE worst service. There's no quick stop for coffee or breakfast ...not because customers don't know what they want but because either the Staff just isn't trained or they're just slow and don't care ..they never seem friendly or happy to be at work. Went there on Saturday at 9:30am and they were "out" of bananas for their bagel toppers, as well as every kind of bagel except for potato, pumpernickel and onion. How can you be out of everything so early on such a busy day?? Bad management, that's how. My husband was with me and he said that's been the story every time he's been there. So sad. We love Einstein and we're thrilled to see when this location opened, but they need to correct these issues ASAP if they expect to survive here. We won't be back until reviews improve. read more

This location is not representative of Einsteins. Courtesy is lacking. Attentiveness is non-existent. I requested a lightly toasted bagel. They burnt it and said it was impossible to serve it any other way. They did offer to scrape off the back charred parts . My coworker always brings in the baker's dozen on Mondays for our team as they are 1/2 off on Mondays. It was my turn a few weeks ago since he was out of office. These bagels are sooo good. It's hard to have just one and I love the strawberry and blueberry reduced fat shmears. read more

Went in for lunch and ordered the Nova Lox and Bagel....it was pricey, but I really wanted a treat. The bagel was lightly toasted as I requested, and the lox was fresh, however, barely any cream cheese, the tomato was the end and still had the green plug of stem in them ( that is one of my biggest peeves at any place, don't put garbage on my sandwich...uuuuggggg) and the onion slices were hugely sliced and dried out. This is the worst einsteins ever... VERY SLOW. Very disorganized. Multiple attempts giving them the benefit of the doubt. Always the same. Multiple Sunday's and Saturdays out of plain bagels at 9 am.. Who runs out of plain bagels?? I went to this location & was assisted by Jill. Rude is not even the word. She was unprofessional, rude, mean, cruel & all of the above. I attempted to place my order & she became so frustrated with me & work, the phone rang, she answered it but hung up, literally slammed it down, pointed her hands at me & said "look, is this what you want or not?" I asked her if I was frustrating her. She took a deep breathe, put her head down and said, "No, I need to know what you want & you need to make sure you know what you want!" I kid you not. Her manager did nothing! I was pissed! We went back & forth & my order was done. I spoke to her mgr Lisa & told her I was going to contact corporate. She told me not to & she would handle the situation. Not once did she apologize for the situation & not once did she step in. It was an entire scene with a lobby full of people. It happened today, 1/18/21, at 9:03am & I was order # (contact me) I will be contacted the BBB & corporate on 2 different occasions now. No response! This was the worse service I've ever received in my entire life. I would hate to think that Jill was treating me this way because of the color of my skin, because that is what it seemed like. One of my fav places. I go here to study and eat, and ALL of the employees are so nice. They go out of their way to ask how your day is. It feels like Cheers here; the employees and some of the patrons greet you by name. They have good coffee that's only $1 if you buy and bring the refill mug. read more

Bagels, schmear and coffee are fantastic! Service is less than sub par. The only thing keeping me from using the word "terrible" is because typically they aren't rude, but just incredibly SLOW! I have spent 40 minutes in the store just to get a bagel and drip coffee to go. The line/ordering system is very INEFFICIENT. Everyone seems to be moving at a snails pace and doesn't care to be faster. The line will be long and nobody is moving fast. It would be different if the staff was having friendly conversations with customers, and that's why they were slow, but no they hardly want to speak AND are slow. I wish they would make a change. Today I was in and everyone in the line was laughing at how slow they were... it's like a common Coppell community joke. I've been here 3 times now and the service is painfully slow One guy filling orders while 2 stand around and look busy. I can't justify it anymore in the morning when I'm on my way to work. Bought a fruit cup and a medium coffee today. Got to work, opened the fruit cup and a very bad smell came out. When I inspected the fruit, I saw white mold on many pieces. Don't go to this location. The staff is terrible. They are rude and act bothered to be serving you. It's not how we like to start our day -- with an attitude and a frown. And they consistently get our orders wrong: they either forget one of your orders or they don't give you what you ordered. We are done with this location. The first time we came here a few months ago the customer service was terrible. I attributed that to inexperience. Came back today and the service was atrocious. Two out of the three employees were downright rude. Rolling eyes and one word, under the breath answers. They were out of coffee and when we pointed that out, the male employee said "I know" and proceeded to grudgingly brew a pot, like he was doing us a favor. Went in this morning with a 6 bagels with schemer for $6 coupon. 1) They tried to wring me up without the coupon. 2) They corrected the mistake but when I got my bagels without the schemer. 3) As I am patiently waiting in line, 4 other customers come up to the counter with mistakes from their orders. 5) I explained the lack of schmear and got a blank look. I've been here probably 5-6 times, and the only consistent thing about the place is that it is inconsistent. Every time we go, there is a different set up for how to order/pay. Order at one, pay at another, order and pay at both, etc. Workers are usually unfriendly. The best time to come is in the morning before when there are fewer customers to confuse the workers. I went in for breakfast this morning and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. I was standing in the line next to the counter and the employee at the pay now register took a customer ahead of me after seeing me waiting before him. He even asked if he had to get in line behind me yet she said no he could go ahead and order. When it was my turn to order I asked for 2 lightly spread bagels and 1 normal, of course they got that wrong and all 3 bagels had heavy cream cheese on them. I love Einsteins. I have been to multiple locations, inc Lewisville and Southlake. But this Coppell location is a horrible disservice to the entire Einstein chain. Customer service is honestly horrible. I live close by, and so VERY reluctantly come here several times a month, and consistently I am disappointed. The workers seem annoyed to be working there (except for one lady who really does try to be pleasant and helpful). I stood in line the other day with 4 workers behind the counter-only one was making a sandwich, one was fixing the register, and the other 2 were just watching him as I stood there-just two feet away-, and no one even acknowledged my presence for almost a minute. The restaurant had 3 people in it. And no one in line. I actually had to say hi to them. When they get my order wrong-incorrect shmear- (which is 75% of the time) the lady (manager) did not say sorry, but rather grabbed my bag, rolled her eyes, and gave me a wry smile. This happens a lot. I rarely get my salad that comes with the bagel sandwich. And on and on. But what is most disappointing is that unless you get there by 10am, bagel choices are limited, and by 12:30, they are out. They close at 4pm. They sell bagels. But they have NONE. By midday? All out? Really? Pure laziness on their part. I have tried and tried to like this location. But really. An embarrassment to the Einstein brand. read more

I can understand if it was 1:30-2pm and the breakfast rush had long past, but I've been there several times during the morning hours and they have yet to have an Everything Bagel available. Three visits now. Each time the bagels were tasty and fresh. That is about all I can say good about this place. I know that bagels are their main product but, the coffee is mediocre at best. I had the lemonade berry drink once, what a disappointment. Too much sugar and high frotuce corn syrup. Tables and floor are dirty, guess they only clean once a day. And, maybe the employees are trained not to smile, atleast the order taker and especially the cashier. What a shame. Sure hope that BIGGBY opens back up with good help like before. read more
